Established in 1982.

Jim Conley started The Snack Factory in the early 80’s and shortly after decided to become Taco J’s Snack Factory, INC. We spent 30 years in south Wichita before moving to Haysville.

I just moved to Haysville and thought I would give this place a try. I never thought I’d find a place that makes Taco Bell seem appetizing but this would be the place. The food is absolutely disgusting. Worst fast food Mexican I’ve ever had. I don’t normally write reviews but felt something had to be said… Don’t do it!!!

This is the first time I’ve eaten here since it moved to Haysville. When it was in Wichita it was just okay but at its new location it seems to have taken a turn for the worse. The place has a real sterile look and feel. You have to order each item on the menu individually, no combo meals. The employees there seem very dejected and depressed. I ordered a taco, Sancho and drink that came to $ 6 which I felt was a bit much for so little food. I can’t say I’ve ever been a huge fan of Taco J’s because of the really odd spices they put in their meat. To sum it all up, it’s just a depressing Taco place that’s given up on life. Taco Shop would do well to buy them out and take over. Whoever is running this place doesn’t have a clue.
