I ordered from them once and it was great! Trying to place another order, system said online ordering was disabled. I ended up emailing the company twice over the month and still have not heard a response.

Pretty good place. Everything I have ordered so far from this place tastes fresh and restaurant grade. I ordered some scallops. They are from Japan, so just to be extra careful, I whipped out my geiger counter and tested it. They are clean. Lower than background radiation detected. Will order again.

I placed an order for pick up on Saturday. It was a breeze. I am so glad I live nearby; I can easily go and pick up without paying for shipping. We had Korean Fluke Hirame and Yellowfin tuna for my dad’s bday lunch. You pay for the quality of fish which is fantastic! I can’t wait to taste Mackerel Saba that we stored in the fridge for now.

Words cannot express how much we love ordering from this place. Unilocalers has done it again. Lots of quality fish for your money. Totally reasonable price and better than restaurant quality sashimi. It’s great for parties and large events. They packed our order nicely and ordering was easy. Both my wife and I are salmon lovers, we have ordered salmon couple of times from this company, high quanlity and fair price. The fish is really fresh and way better than that you can find in other place.

First of all, it was so easy to order with detailed descriptions on the website. Preparing for a small family gathering, I ordered — White tuna Albacore, Yellow fin tuna, and whole Mackerel from Norway. I thought the packaging was just perfect! — it kept all products fresh when I received the fish. More than anything, the QUALITY of fish was definitely exceeding my expectation. It was so fresh and one of the best sashimi plate I ever had. I can strongly recommend this place.

Flippin’ delicious. Ordered salmon, yellowtail, hamari (sp?), uni, and (something else???). There were 15 of us and we just kept eating and eating and eating. I’m going back for round 2 of the salmon tonight and then, I suppose, we’ll grill the rest of it.

My wife wanted to surprise me with a special birthday dinner and ordered lobster tail from Blue Marine Inc. I still cannot believe how fresh our order was. It was the most delicious lobster tail that I have had in a long time! Placing an order was easy and they communicated very clearly. They even gave a courtesy call to let us know that our order was ready. Fortunately we live close enough that we were able to pick up on Saturday in their store. We will be back very soon to try everything else that they have to offer. Woohoo! As good as it gets!

Okay, read on… I am a diehard sushi fan, i can easily eat sushi every day of the week and not get tired and WOW, WOW, I was blown away with the quality of the Salmon we recieved from Blue Marine. It was OUTSTANDING. So good I dont want to bother cooking it. It would be an insult to the fish. Every aspect of my experience with blue marine seafood was impeccable. If I were to give the quality of the fish & hte overall expereince of purchasing online from them a ranking on a scale of 1 to 10, blue marine would rank at a 12. A Must Try!

I used to go to a Japanese restaurant in Pleasanton, CA, once to week to feed on my sashimi crave. Unfortunately the owner sold it to another party, and then the price went up with fewer sashimi varieties that I used to get.
Then one day my sister told me she had the best sashimi at a friend’s house. Nervous about handling sashimi at home, yet it was too hard to resist the temptation and curiosity, I decided to give it a try. Ever since I found this company two years ago, I rarely go to Japanese restaurants unless I am invited by friends. The seafood always arrives promptly with very clean and professional packaging. I can tell the company takes great pride in their products. They are so, so fresh and the quality is superb. Whatever you find in any Japanese restaurants, you could order it through this company even though it’s not listed on their website. I have since recommended to many friends, and we often gather together for Sashimi feast. Whenever my college-​bound son is back, he would ask me to get him some before heading back to L.A. Later I found out that a lot of Japanese restaurants in the Bay area actually get their seafood supplies from this company. So, why look elsewhere when I can get restaurant grade sashimi delivers right to my doorstep?

This is great. We ordered, Salmon, Yellowtail, and Tuna, and all of them came fresh with insulated cooling box and the quality of the fish were awesome. Oh I love it. much better quality and much more quantity than Japanese restaurant. This is perfect for group party. If you like good quality sashimi, this makes perfect sense.

I just received my first order from Blue Marine, and I am impressed. The online ordering process couldn’t have been easier, and the fish (albacore tuna loin) was of extremely high quality. Their customer service, also, was exemplary.
Incidentally, I learned that Blue Marine supplies seafood to my favorite fish market (Tokyo Fish Market), my favorite grocery store (Berkeley Bowl), and my favorite sushi bar (Kirala) in my hometown (Berkeley, which is arguably the foodie capitol of Northern California), and I can see why. For sashimi-​grade fish in the future, I plan to buy from no one else.

We had Tuna, Salmon and Hamachi filets ordered from
. The quality of the filets was very good. It was on par or better than the sashimi grade filets sold at Japanese markets. Good for large party as the size of the fillet is huge.

It’s brilliant that I can order raw fish via internet. Thought it was a crazy thing to do, and only did it cuz my best friend recommended. It worked, well packaged with ice packs and overnight shipment did it.
I ordered for my family gathering and all of us enjoyed the QUALITY sashimi and gave thumbs up! I am a big fan of salmon and yellow tail, love the fatty ones. I rarely eat Tuna at the restaurant, but the tuna (yellowfin) I tried from Blue marine has more flavor than the high-​end sushi restaurants.
I can’t wait to order more and have sashimi feast with my friends!
$ 15 shipping charge seems high, but I live in San Ramon. Picking up mediocre quality sashimi from market in Cupertino will cost me more with current gas prices, not considering driving time.
