St. Francis Urgent Care Center

Avoid this place as if Dr. Nick from The Simpsons worked here! We brought our son here because he had little red bumps all over his body. You don’t see an actual physician here but a physicians assistant who is overseen from a doctor from god knows where. This PA insisted that my son had an allergy and to take benedryl, but we constantly reminded him that we keep doing it. Months later, other family members are now itching and taking benedryl… hmmm. We finally take him to a legitimate physician who diagnosed my son with SCABIES. Over five people had been infected with this nasty skin disease in our family because of incompetent medical staff! Safe to say, we are all itch free now but scorn everytime the name St. FRANCIS URGENT CARE is mentioned. Thanks for reading and avoid!

No nonsense, straight forward and fast. Gets no better than that!
I think I was misdiagnosed by another physician the night before I showed up at this urgent care center because the «treatment» they gave did not help me at all.
I was having a lot of pain in my neck radiating down through my shoulder and elbow. Ahhh i forgot her name but the PA was really helpful. She said I most likely had a muscle spasm and needed some muscle relaxers, anti-​inflammatory and showed me how to massage the spasm out with a tennis ball.
I’m so glad I went because I feel great now!

First off, I HATE going to urgent care. I have had horrible experience in the past. But with my work schedule, It’s the only choice I have. I normally go to the urgent care in Fremont but I found this location and it is close to my house. When I checked the Unilocal scores I couldn’t believe the large amount of 5 star scores.
I just left this location and I can honestly say THEY DESERVE EVERY 5 STAR SCORE. The customer service was amazing, they made every soo incredibly easy and I couldn’t ask for anything more. The wait time was minimal and it was the first time I have left a medical facility feeling satisfied. I will avoid going to the doctor office as much as I can and only go to St. Francis

I highly recommend this clinic … The staff is very professional and the place is super clean. The best thing about this clinic is that your in and out in know time. I went in for a DOT physical thinking it was going to take along time because I didn’t book an appointment, but to my surprise the staff had my physical and paper work done in less than a hour. I will definitely recommend this place to my co workers or anyone who needs a DOT physical or any of there other services.

This place is awesome. I was reffered by Dr Bendari. This place has helped me several times. My dr is quite busy. But a good dr. This place has been able to see me on the spot. Im a fulltime mom to a special needs children. And finding places that are available for me is the best!!! This place is clean, professional, straight to the point, and your in and out and back to being on your way to wellness. Love this place. I tell every one about it.

I had such a great experience here! Processing was super quick and had a wait time of no more than 10 minutes. The staff was super friendly and kindly answered any questions I had. No long waits between nurses/​doctor either.
The process was so stellar, I’d rather come all the way out here than to the urgent care clinic near me in Fremont.

This place is great. I ended up here after my primary doctor kept cancelling my appointments. The staff is very kind and make you feel really comfortable. I was unsure about what my insurance would cover and they did their best to explain the process to me and let me just pay my copay in the meantime. The doctor took a lot of time with me and explained what tests I should ask for when I finally do see my regular doctor. He even recommend another clinic could try for regular visits. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs to be seen promptly. I was in and out in about an hour.

Wish my regular doctor’s office was this efficient. Came in on a late Sunday morning. No waiting in a pleasant, pristine waiting room. Reception was pleasant and efficient. Saw Ava Novotny, PA-​C, who was kind, knowledgable and professional. She sent a prescription to my pharmacy and I got a call from my pharmacy indicating that it was ready for pick up before I left the parking lot! Unbelievable service and care from a walk-​in clinic or from any medical facility, for that matter.

This place deserves 10 Stars! I want to give credit where credit is due. And as a medical professional sometimes you don’t always hear what a wonderful job you’re doing. So from one healthcare professional to another, I want THANK YOU Ava Novotny, PA and all her staff. You girls are doing an awesome job!!! From the time I walked in the receptionist was kind, then the MA who took my vitals was kind, then Ava was super kind!!! So much kindness! LOL
I literally was just seen tonight. I got there at about 7pm and left 30 mins later. Going to other urgent care facilities you may have to wait long hours to be seen. But there was absolutely NO WAIT! I was seen right away!!! I was having really bad neck pain for about 4 days. I couldn’t even move my head from right to left without feeling a surge of pain. Ava explained to me I was having a muscle spasm. She gave me a shot in the bum, sent in an Rx for a muscle relaxer, and gave me some simple exercises to do. Not only is she professional but also personable. She made me feel so comfortable and we chatted a bit.
I really do appreciate their kindness and the care they showed me. If I ever need urgent care in the future I will definitely go here! And I will recommend this place to all my family and friends. Thank you again for making my pain go away!!!

Came here because I needed to get a hepatitis b titer and tb test. Didn’t need to make an appointment and didn’t have to wait. They are open late and weekends. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. They went out of their way to help me. Went above and beyond what any other office would do. I don’t have insurance and they are the best priced urgent care around. I would definitely recommend them to everyone and I am and will be going there again for anything I need.

I felt awful today and could not get into my MD. I have no time to be sick and I wanted to get whatever medication I needed to get over this. I discovered St. Francis Urgent Care Center in Hayward — a mere one mile from my house. They were fantastic… friendly, professional and thorough. I hate the fact that I am sick but am relieved to know this clinic is right here in Hayward! Thanks for the great care today!

Really first rate service. Clean & efficient operation. Thorough run through and I was out in no time. Would make this a preference even though there are closer places to my home address.

I never thought I’d have a day where the best part was visiting urgent care but let me tell you– the staff here made it happen.
I came in around noon on a weekday about three weeks ago and there was absolutely no wait. The place was scrubbed and sparkled ceiling to floor. A very kind gentleman greeted me at the front and helped me fill out my paperwork. Both he and the doctor were so respectful of any potential privacy discomfort I may have had (I had none) and they were both so warm and easy to talk to.
From filling out paperwork, having tests taken, prescriptions written (she sends them straight to your pharmacy!), etc, the whole trip took less than an hour.
I will come here and only here for any future urgent medical needs. Thank you for making it all so easy!

Very satisfied with my visit. I was seen promptly and the PA took her time during the exam. Office is clean and the staff professional. I highly recommend this urgent care center.

Wonderfully caring staff

I was in desperate need of getting maintenance meds. Alameda country had not yet given me a md. These meds are essential to my health. (Hypothyroidism). I went In so I could get a new blood test, then new meds
The doctor was VERY concerned I was off them over a month. He first chided me for not coming in earlier. (I bad). He put me on my old dose explaining a new blood test was too long a wait. He was kind, professional and GASP listened.
I went in a second time for a delicate issue and although the wait this time was long, it was again excellent care. Different staff. Again listened!
I have a md now, but will keep these people in mind.

This was the best urgent care I have ever been to. I felt like I was thoroughly treated and the staff was very professional and kind.

I cannot say enough how much i love this place. My 8 year old son was experiencing some stomach pain and his PCP was unavailable. I decided to take him to urgent care just to be sure. I was greeted by the PA Alison and MA Kurt (or Kirk). They were so friendly and there was no wait. They treated my son so well that he asked if Alison could be his primary doctor when we got home. =) If you can’t go to your PCP this is the place to go!!!

Earlier today I came to this Urgent Care Center for a sprained ankle and was impressed by their service! There was no wait and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! They took x-​rays of my foot/​ankle, gave me an ankle brace, gave me crunches and prescribed me some pain medicine. The staff took good care of me and were very friendly. Great and amazing service. Thank you! I would recommend St. Francis Urgent Care Center to anyone!

Great service. In and out very quickly. Staff was kind and courteous. Alison was attentative and took care of my issues. Would recommend to anyone.
