D & A Custom Painting

Custom Painters do an excellent job ! My house is a Cape Cod cottage style an original unique older home with corbels and custom woodworking. We got an excellent painter with many years of experience in how to do the job beautifully and professionally !
Mr. Daniel Ayala, Licensed Paint contractor came to my home for an estimate with an additional person for assurance of clear communication. with me. I found Mr. Ayala to be responsible, direct, honest and pleasant in all my interactions. I did not have any difficulty in conversing with him. Prior to commencing the painting, Mr. Ayala reviewed the house with me and showed me what his homeowner expectations were as far as moving furniture, trimming back my beautiful plants and repairing dry rot. We discussed what he could do for certain trouble some areas on my house that included alligatoring (severe cracking of old paint). and bare wood areas.
I worked with Yolanda and Angelo to finalize my contract. They were timely and courteous even calling me on weekends to answer my questions.
I found price comparisons with other contractors to be right on par with the others. However they did a better job, more prepping and 3 coats of paint that what others proposed!
The painting crew of Angelo, Marco, Oscar and Dosangelo were hard working and did an excellent job of prepping my house, sanding chipping, caulking and spackling the many needed areas. The areas that were bare wood were treated with KelBond before primering. Those areas turned out beautifully. The alligatored areas were removed by chipping down to the bare wood, sanding and spackling twice, caulking, primering and coating over with paint. No CHEMICALS !!! You can not tell that the areas were previously alligatored !
My house was previously white so primering with appropriate color of primer was important. That is where Daniel’s experience and professionalism came into play. He chose the correct primer color and my new sage green painted house came out beautifully. Daniel took the time and effort to place primer plus three coats of paint to the entire house. I am very pleased as to the effort and beautiful outcome of my home.
Customer satisfaction is very important to Daniel as well as all of his workers. They ask for your feedback in how you like what they have so far painted and will readily adjusted and touch up some areas to your satisfaction. They look for your satisfaction while the job is in progress.
Spills and cleanups were handled well. The outside of the house was left clean.
They came on time to start and finish the job as promised.
I asked Daniel for his opnions and guidance on paint matter. I knew by what he said and how he gave me the feedback that I was in the hands of a true professional that I could trust.
