J & R Fence

It was a pleasure working J&R Fence. Shannon was extremely responsive and was very professional. She provided us details on the wrought iron fence options and answered all the concerns we had. She provided us the estimate quickly and even worked with us on getting a us a great deal based on her openings. The installation team was very professional and punctual. They finished the work within 2.5 days. They took an extra ½ day longer because of some adjustments needed as our lot was uneven and had a slope. They made sure it looked good and that we were happy with the overall work. Will be calling them again to do some additional work in the future.

Set up an appointment with the estimator. He rescheduled twice and then didn’t show up at all. If they can’t even show up for an estimate how could you trust them with doing your job?

i have worked with both joe and eric on different projects and they have also been super professional. i would recommend them.

Been doing business with Tom for material sales for years. Good and easy to work with. Tom takes the effort to try to get me on the schedule when i need gates and posts.

I contacted J&R fence multiple times to build a gate for me because I had security issues at my house where they had years ago installed the original fence around the house I bought last year. I thought a gate would be a simple estimate, agree and build the gate. I was soooooo wrong.
What a waste of time. I called them almost 10 times, spoke to a receptionaist who apparently never passed on may call to an estimator. I called again days later and spoke with Tom who said he never got the message and he would pass on the info to an estimator. I waited for that call and never received a call from an estimator. Now, each time I called they kept taking down the same info as if I had never called before… do they not have a records capability? So now, days later, I called again and scheduled an estimator to come out in 1.5 weeks when I came back from vacation, it was all set up, so I thought. I called the day the estimator was to arrive (he was late for his appointment) and I was told by Tom that BOTH of the estimators were in a car accident that morning… on the same day. Okay, I hope they were okay but, really, both of them on the same exact day? So no-​one else knew I had an appointment and could not call me after I had taken the morning off to meet with these guys to tell me they were not coming. So then the owner calls me because I am not a happy camper. He said he would personally come to my property — that day– and provide an estimate based on what requirements, type and where the gate needed to go. I confirmed the address and thought I would hear from him the next day. Nope, I called again the next day and he said he was looking for my address for an hour and could not find the property… he wrote down the wrong address. Did he think about calling my cell phone for a clarification? And after the hour? I would never drive around for an hour looking for an address. So he sent the estimator the next day and guess what? I never heard from this company again, nothing, nada.
Maybe there are no reviews becasue others have had the same experience but never wanted to take the time to write the review. How do they stay in business? Anybody know of a good fence company?
I own my own small business as well for the past 8 years and there is no way in the world I would be in business pulling this type of garbage, especially in a competitive market.
