Christy has been cutting my hair since I was 11 years old! I’m 24 now and live in Oakland, but I still make the trek out to Hayward because I have been spoiled by the best! Super great colorist– I trust her blindly!

This place is AMAZING! I rarely ever decide to go to new places to get my hair cut, but they heard me out on what I wanted and completely delivered it perfectly! Definitely coming back here whenever I’m in town. Their prices are also completely reasonable!

I absolutely love Christy at MC Styles. I’ve been going to Christy for probably the last 10 or 12 years, since before she opened MC Styles. Her work is sterling. One of the very best things about her is that she listens to what I’m saying about my hair, what I like and don’t like. My grandson (age 17) looks forward to going to MC Styles when he’s here for the summer. Never a bad cut. I’ve recommended Christy and MC Styles to friends and family over the years and have never once heard a negative remark or a complaint. I give MC Styles an A+. You can’t go wrong here.

Jaime did my hair and she did an amazing job. I wanted a purple ombré and i love it! She even showed me the 2 purples she had and asked if i wanted to use both and it was a great idea cuz i love how both purples look together! Shes super nice and educated me about hair and what is best for it and what i should stay away from. Im def going back to her again for all my hair needs!

I first came in with a hair disaster. I had asked for an A-​line extreme cut and received a bob! I came in and Jamie fixed me up and ever since I have only trusted Jamie to cut and dye my hair. She has great ideas, vision, and excellent listening skills. The other ladies at the salon are also great and willling to step in when Jamie is unavailable. They won’t let you walk away with a cut you are unsatisfied with.
