Mike’s Truck & Line-X of Bay Area

Mikes Trucks is the place to go for anything Line-​x. We requested a large job from them and they nailed every request. My wife had a brand new jeep with all black carpet, we use the jeep to cart around our Siberian Husky who sheds A LOT. She makes it impossible to keep our brand new jeep looking and smelling like a new car. We took all of the carpet and seats out and brought the Jeep to Mikes. We had the entire interior Line-x’d from the tailgate to under the dash, they even went above the rail on the back and over the top about 2 inches to protect the top rails from the hard top coming on and off. It took them 4 days to complete the job and they kept great communication throughout the process. Hands down the place I will return to if/​when I need more jobs.

Well, I had already dropped my truck off last year at Mike’s in Santa Clara for Line-​X, AMP steps and all weather mats. The job they did on all of it was very detailed — in particular the Line-​X. I had already shopped (online) for this at many places, but I knew that what I wanted was solid color and sharp lines. I found out from Rich that they over produce and blend their Line-​X color so that the entire job is done with one blend for uniformity. Rich told me about a friend that balked at his price and took it somewhere else (the pricing is not the least, but it is also not the most expensive and well worth it) where they mixed one batch, then finding they didn’t have enough, mixed another — repeating this at least 3 times. Well, you can imagine the different shades of color that came from multiple blends. You just can’t match it if you don’t do it right the first time — not to mention they took all of the car jewelry (latches, hooks, etc.) so that the Line-​X was perfect. But this was last year —
Last week, after much research, I asked Rich if you could add a Borla exhaust to my truck (a 2014 GMC All-​Terrain, Crew-​Cab). He gave me the price and I went down to Hayward this time and an hour and a half later left with the best sounding exhaust in town. A slight pick up in torque as well.
The original Mike (of Mike’s Line-​X) did the work and killed it. It was a pleasure to work with Rich and Mike and I don’t care what it is — if I am adding it to my truck, they are doing the work.

For my boyfriend’s Bday I asked several co-​workers for suggestions for options on his truck. He had just bought a new Ford pickup. One of the guys I work with convinced me to investigate Line-​X a type of bedliner. Online I found there was a shop in Hayward. In the Bday card I wrote — Jim, call this number 925.272.7666 — you have three choices to make (standard, premium, platinum) and that’s it!
I called and setup an appointment for Friday. Dropped the truck off at 9 and picked it up at 12 noon just like they promised. I really like the fact these guys at Mike’s run a nice, no hassle operation. I received excellent service and while visiting their show room and talking with Mike — found they carry every accessory you can imagine for trucks. Their sign says Internet Prices — Next Day Delivery!
Now, I have several ideas for my Christmas shopping. Thanks Mike & Rich for a great experience.
