Manager

Michael just joined the Saf Keep family in 2013. He brings 10 years of Self Storage experience to his hardworking team at the Hayward facility — Marshall, Bailey, Gina, and Alduvar. Each of them help provide excellent customer service and keep the facility clean and secure. Come in and meet the team! They will help find the perfect unit for you!

The best experience I’ve ever had with a storage company. I had a reservation with another place in Hayward who failed to informed me of the office hours on a Saturday; I needed storage immediately as I showed up with a full U-​Haul. I called Saf Keep and spoke to the most professional and helpful service agent. I was promptly given a quote, promotion information, and full disclosure of all pertinent information as well as reservation number sent to my email. I went to the location with about 45 minutes before they closed and was greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staff. Claudette and Roberto made the process extremely easy and painless. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will recommend to anyone looking for storage space.

I had an excellent experience here. The customer service agent was friendly and cheerful and that really made my day. Getting everything set up was painless and easy. The facility looks well-​secured and maintained. Not to mention the rates are excellent for the Bay Area, AND they have a current promotion that saves you a lot of money. A++.

I needed a storage unit and saw this location on Unilocal.Now I know why they have a good rating! They have a great staff here and they explained everything thoroughly making sure I understood it before signing the agreement. It is pretty convenient and it is very safe. There are surveilance cameras everywhere and live-​in caretakers to watch the area. I trust them and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to anyone who is looking for a great storage unit! This is my first time using a storage unit and the customer service was fantastic. We were helped every step of the way nothing based on what cost more but what worked for us best. The name of the man who helped us I can’t recall at the moment but he was wonderful. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Decent storage facility. Saf Keep would had been a four star if there wasn’t this issue. The workers park in front of several garages all the TIME! If you’re ok with having to stop at the office and asking them to move their car. Well then this is a great place to keep your storage! They are willing to move as they should however as a customer this is a inconvenience. Customers just want to do what they came to do. Why can’t they park somewhere else? There are other parking spots around or maybe Saf Keep shouldn’t rent out that space.
I am upping Saf Keep Storage to five star! I just came back from my last post and they took care of the situation. Thank you!

I decided to store my belongings here during a recent home renovation. I found a great deal online and quickly reserved my unit. I live in SF so the Hayward location was a little out of the way, especially considering the storage facility’s hours, but the excellent deal was totally worth it! The management team was awesome to work with and really made the ultimate difference here. When our construction project ran long they even worked with me on the price! How nice. Oh, and I love that they have a FREE moving truck for you to use too! I don’t anticipate needed to use a storage unit again for sometime (thankfully no more home renovations are on the docket here) but as soon as I do I’ll be headed back to Saf Keep.

This was as stressless as it gets, the staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. The site was clean and we’ll maintained. It took all of 15 minutes to get in, get a storage unit and get out. I recommend this facility to anyone. Let us not forget the their prices, the lowest rate I found from Oakland to Fremont.

At the end of the day, it all boils down to security and $$$ when it comes to finding the right storage place and this place is it given the location works for you. Initially thought somebody who looked a bit shady came in through the gates a few times I had visited my storage but contacted the manager and promptly learned that the man actually had a unit there. A handful of food trucks are parked in the property but are no problem in terms of blockage going around. Transition from one unit to another was not flawless but s### happens and it was eventually taken care of. Staff (especially Roberto) are quite friendly.

This is my first storage unit and I had many questions to figure out how it works. Gina was friendly over the phone and in person. She answered all my questions and concerns and called me back when I left messages. On the day of, Roberto helped us move things in. If you schedule ahead, you can get lifting/​moving help for free for 30 minutes. I’d never say no to an additional set of hands. Great place.
FYI, you have to bring your own lock or you can buy it there.

Saf Keep was great, with the best rates in town. It was easy to get in and out. I had no problems for the 6 months I kept my things there. I would have given 5 stars if they were able to work with me and prorate when I vacated the unit. They didn’t prorate because I didn’t give them advance notice. It’s not always easy to know the exact day you are going to be able to move everything out, so in that they are not flexible.

This was the first time I ever used a storage company and I was very pleased with my experience at Saf Keep Storage in Hayward. Gina and Mike were extremely helpful, professional and customer-​focused. They explained the entire operation thoroughly and answered all of my questions. The facility is clean and well-​maintained and they offered the best rates and special offers compared with other storage companies in the area. I have been with Saf Keep (on winton) for about a year and a half now. They have been great. They are clean and the staff is friendly. When I first came here I had gotten a really great deal on a small unit. I have since switched to a bigger unit, they have many sizes to choose from. The only thing I do not like about this place (which is why 4 instead of 5 stars) is that their rates seems to change a lot. I am not used to dealing with this sort of thing but it seems that is the norm in this area. I don’t mind too much though because there are ways to get discounts such as referring your’ friends. Over-​all they are great.

This is my second time renting a storage unit from Saf Keep Storage and I have to say that the staff are very friendly and also really helpful. They helped me figure out what size storage I should get and I have to say that their suggestion ended up being just about perfect for my needs. Great place for storage at very competitive prices — my neighbor should know, he stores a houseful of junk here!
The staff is friendly and helpful. Clean, well-​maintained, secure location. You can only get in and out with your special code. Down the road from Southland Mall so you can shop for more stuff to store!
