We literally spent years thinking about, comparing products, and going back and forth between buying vs leasing a solar system. We finally decided to buy, and chose Pure Power Solutions.
Rody has really built a phenomenal team of professional, friendly, and, knowledgeable folks. This was evident from the first moment when I walked into their office and started asking questions.
Mike worked most closely with us, and did a great job of keeping us informed of changes, and progress. He was always available for questions that inevitably arose, but allowed us the space we needed to make decisions!
The job was quickly finished, and Pure Power handled all of the permitting, banking, and communications to the utility company!

After purchasing a house in Sonoma County with perfectly-​oriented, non-​shaded roofs, I decided to have a solar photovoltaic system installed. Based on a web search, one local installer stood out has having been in business for many years and focussing solely on solar photovoltaic systems. That was Pure Power Solutions. I also contacted two national residential solar installers. The national installers wanted to do everything over the phone which made me uneasy as we had a somewhat complex roof situation.
Rody Jonas came to my house three times prior to my entering into a contract with Pure Power to plan and discuss all aspects of the design and installation. I was immediately impressed by the depth of his knowledge and his commitment to designing the right system for our property. The system was installed with no hitches and has been operating flawlessly for about six months. We are quite pleased with it.
Pure Power handled all the paper work expeditiously, professionally and courteously. This is a first-​class operation.

We just had our final inspection with PG&E so our project is now complete. Rody and his crew at Pure Power Solutions have been wonderful. They have helped us through the process from beginning to end. We wrote a REAP grant with there help got funded signed the contract and the installed a 30 KW system to an existing 30 KW system to zero out our bill. The workmanship on the project on the installation was precise and on time. Rody always kept his word and went out of his way to make everything right which in turn makes a happy customer. I recommend Pure Power Solutions for any solar needs residential or commercial he has the knowledge and the team to get the job done right.

I have known these guys for years. They are in the middle of an install at my house and have done most all of my friends houses. The service is second to none and Rody is as knowledgeable as they come on solar. I know they have done some huge projects (they managed the Sonoma County Water Agency PV project in Windsor as well as St Francis Winery amongst others) and have also done lots of unique off grid projects. They do incredible work and are honest people.

We got estimates from several firms regarding the PV panel installation for our residence (on the grid). Pure Power was reasonable and we chose them based upon several references we checked. The references were spot on and we are among their very satisfied clients. We have had our system 3 years and are pleased with it. The installation was top-​notch and I’m a perfectionist. The crew was professional and friendly. We had some hiccups with an old electrical panel but we got through the process and they helped us with the permits thru the city and the rebates. We recently had an issue with one microinverter on a panel and they promptly took care of it under warranty. I wish all contractors were like Pure Power Solutions.

My wife and I are architects that have worked with various solar installers for on and «off-​grid» homes for over 20 years. When we designed and built our own off-​grid home we chose to have Pure Power Solutions design and install our solar system. Rody, the owner, is extremely knowledgable and keeps up to date with this rapidly changing technology and the various government rebate and tax programs that help reduce the cost of installation. The actual workmanship of the installation was precise, organized and timely– unmatched in my experience. When we have had questions about the system Rody and his team have always responded quickly.
We have been living in our off-​grid home for over four years and the solar power system has worked perfectly. We always recommend Rody and Pure Power Solutions to all of our architecture clients.

We had a solar installer who did an awful job in 2006. A neighbor recommended Rody at Pure Power to troubleshoot and not only did he quickly remedy the system, we hired him to double the size of our system to cover more of our power needs (lots of water pumps on our property). That was in 2009 and the system has worked perfectly since. We have called to ask questions and have them check our system once or twice when our PG&E bills were wonky. The problem was never our solar but Rody steered us in the right direction and didn’t charge us for the visits. Do put them on your list to contact if you want to add or expand your solar!
