Breakfast burrito is pretty great(when they actually make it the way I order it) biggest problem is communication the staff sucks and is always grumpy wtf?!

The only reason they get two stars is because their breakfast steak was really good BUT their dishes look nasty, old, need to be replaced. You can tell it’s a family business cause your complaints go unsettled! I have eaten there a few times to give them another try but after I saw the dishes when my husband and I ate breakfast there, I was like«Yeah this is the last time here.» My husband wanted to try a breakfast burrito there so I tried AGAIN I ordered a shredded beef burrito and I guess because they were closing MYBURRITOWASNOTHINGBUTPIECESOFFAT!!! I told them the next day and all she said was I’ll see what the manager says. REALLY??? Smh, I’m reporting them to the better business bureau because their customer service is crappy, their food, it depends on their mood, and the dinner area is not the cleanest at all. Will not go there again!

I love this place for breakfast burritos they are prepared as you order them and unlike some places they will put whatever you want in them… always clean looking and staff is pretty friendly

I am getting to know the local scene here im Hemet. I kept seeing this spot and decided to stop. I ordered the 10 buffalo wings for 8.99. You have to wait because the cook the food as you order. But well worth the wait. Very big portions. 10 wings, salad w. bell peppers, texas toast, fries, onion rings and fried zucchini… and plenty of ranch dressing. This will be my treat spot. We are gonna try brrakfast on Saturday. Great eating.

Tried this place when they first opened and had a bad experience. I decided to try one more time. Terrible. I saw the sign that slowed a family pack(4 burgers, fries and drinks) for 18.99. I thought it was a good deal. Go to order in the drive through, i specify i want 3 burgers to have cheese and one burger no cheese no pickle due to allergies. I figured they would add a charge for the cheese but they didn’t even tell me. And they didn’t get my one burger that I specified to have no cheese and no pickles right. It was for a person that had allergies that could land her in the hospital for eating that. The fries tasted refried. And the drinks… i ask for bottle water. Shows on the menu, they said they were out. I asked for iced tea, said they were out. I asked for the fruit punch it shows on the menu, they said it was a misprint and they didnt have any. My family doesn’t drink soda so there were no other choices. I told her to forget the drinks, do you think they offered any discount? Nope. Then I waited for my food at the window, and I hear the woman taking the orders pretty much have the same conversation about not having pretty much any drinks with the person behind me. What a joke. I will admit I did enjoy the cheeseburger I had though.

First time there today, and i had low expectations due to the same space having been a dairy queen with hideously slow service, and walking in it seemed the same look. I was wrong. Fast friendly service, delicious burgers, large menu, and reasonably priced. Yep, i will be going back. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is, well, it’s a burger joint. That and it’s attached to a 711. As good if not better burgers than Steves down the road.

Stopped in by chance to see what it’s like. Excellent service and speed. Prices are an excellent value for the portions and taste when it came to the Ortega burger and a tuna melt. Will miss the Dairy Queen but these folks know what they’re doing and there’s something for just about everyone here. Will likely become one of the classic restaurants of Hemet in the years to come. Easily beats an In N Out, for me.

I ordered the 18.99 family hamburger special. Food was ok… nothing special. I really do not care to return when I have pay an additional. 50 cents to pay with my atm card. Why should I when I can go any where else to buy burgers.

This place is ridiculous and they are rude. The first time I went they substituted a burger in the family pack for a veggie patty and they were really nice about it and the second time I went they said they couldn’t do that and they couldn’t substitute it and whatever they told me the Manger said so. They were rude I am disgusted. I would never go back.

I thought it would be A good place to buy me and my Daughter Dinner… This place is disgusting … I’m new to this area(Hemet). I won’t be coming back to Tommy’s Burgers.

Okay. This is NOT a Tommy’s world famous chili. And the chili is disgusting. Although the bacon avocado cheese burger and fries were good. Besides their putrid chili, my order was wrong. Three times. They had a woman who spoke poor English serving the inside, who could not understand my order although it was very simple. I hope to return here for a better experience next time. The avocado was fresh and creamy, the bacon thick and crispy, the fries thick and well cooked, and the burger meat thick and juicy. As for cost, it was about 10 $ for a combo, the food portions were large but for such a high cost the drink cup was very small probably 16 oz.

So this place opened to replace the Dairy Queen that, sadly, is gone. I had high hopes, as I was looking for an alternative to Steve’s West or Burger Rush. Those hopes were quickly dashed. Honestly, this place is no better than Steve’s or Burger Rush. They’re all about the same as far as quality and taste. Minor variations, sure, and small things that they each do differently, but none of them are anything special. The few differentiating factors, as far as I can tell: — Their breakfast burritos seem to be worse in quality; it’s primarily a hash brown issue. You can’t call them hash browns if you don’t brown them up. — Their«trio» with fries/onion rings/zucchini seems to me, but not my wife, to be better quality. I like their onion rings and zucchini slightly better. Steve’s has better fries, though. Burger Rush does a good trio, as well, probably on par with Tommy’s. — Their prices are higher. Burger Rush is the cheapest of the 3, with Steve’s being in the middle. — Service is slower and poorer quality. Steve’s really shines in this area, with great service and speed(usually). Burger Rush, ironically, isn’t the fastest or best of the service, but it is better than Tommy’s. Again, another place opening in Hemet that’s just a repeat of other options already available, with no compelling reason to choose any of them.

Tommy’s Burgers in Hemet is one place I’d stay away from I ordered a bowl of chili and I got it in a tall fountain drunk glass. I couldn’t stir the cheese or the onions into the chili due to the container. I asked if the chili was always served in a glass and I got a smart remark, I was told, «only today!» When I finally tasted it, it was disgusting and gross tasting, there were no beans and the meat was mush! Again, you’ve been warned, don’t go there! I don’t even want to give them a star!

First of all let me say that for a fast food place the food was not too bad. My son loved his burger & my patty melt was not too greasy. The reason that I am giving this just 1 star is that they want to charge you $.50 for using your credit or debit card. If you look up the State of California Attorney General’s Office website it states that a merchant cannot charge you a surcharge for using a credit/debit card. A merchant can only give a cash discount. I informed them of this even though I paid cash. I even showed them the website & told them that they should tell the owner. Now fast forward to 2 weeks later. I walk in with my whole family. We order and I hand the girl my debit card. She tells me that there is a 50 cent charge to do so. I tell her that is not okay. Another girl walks up, one that I spoke to a couple of weeks ago, & she said the owner told her that they are to continue with the charge. I then told her that I will be reporting this which I have now done. People please be aware that it is illegal in the State of California to charge extra for the use of your credit or debit card.

The food was okay like most burger joints in town, but the drink taste funny. My wife ordered a cheese burger and chili cheese fries a had a stake and egg breakfast. The burger was good the stake was cooked perfect a little under seasoned but good enough. But the service was horrible the chili cheese fries never came out even after we waited over 25 minutes for them, when I went up to ask about them they thought I was lying and asked to see my receipt. I asked for my money back, on my way back to my table you could hear the people talking mess about me and my fries. It’s a small place you can hear every thing going on in the kitchen if your gonna talk crap about customers do it quietly. And lastly this is just a personal thing but eating a stake with a plastic fork wasn’t that great

This burger place is like any of the other mom and pop burger joints around here. We ordered a regular burger and turkey breast sandwich. The sandwich was drenched in mayo but the bread was really soft. Overall the sandwich wasn’t bad. Hell of a lot cheaper than Farmer Boys. The burger on the other hand had two thin pieces of meat and the«bun» was two toasted slices of sandwich bread. When eating the burger, the bread cut the roof of my mouth(kinda like what happens when you eat captain crunch cereal). It tasted ok though nothing special.

I went there for breakfast because normally burger joint breakfasts are the best, I ordered a hamburger patty, scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast. Nothing was seasoned, the toast had no butter not even on the side no jam on the side no salt or pepper on the side. It took at least 20 minutes, with no one in the drive thru and 3 people in the lobby all seated and eating. Never again!

My nephew was raving about this place so it piqued my interest. Mom agreed with him that it was good so I was really looking forward to trying this place! I am really torn between a 2 and 3 star rating. A 2-star says«Meh, I’ve experienced better» and a 3-star says«A-OK» My review falls somewhere in between. I ordered a Philly Steak sandwich combo with fries and a drink. I also ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger just to try it. The Philly was dry, had shredded cheese, and the bun was all wrong. The fries were like any fries from a burger joint(not fresh cut). The ranch I ordered to go with it was runny. The Bacon Cheeseburger was probably the only thing I’d rate a 4. It was juicy and had plenty of bacon and cheese! Service in the drive-thru was fast and freindly. Prices were average.
