Apache Foot & Ankle Specialists was founded in 2006 by Dr. Lee Wittenberg. We have 2 office locations in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area. The location in the Southwest part of the Valley is located near Tropicana and I215, and has been in this area for 8 years. We proudly opened our newest location in Henderson in 2014. We are a full-service Podiatry practice specializing in Trauma and sprains of the foot and ankle, Reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Wound Care and limb salvage. Plantar Fasciitis, Neuromas, Nerve related pain, Orthotics, Diabetic shoes, and Podiatric Dermatology. We are proud to have assisted thousands of people in Las Vegas with their foot and ankle problems, and are extremely conscientious and educational in our practices.

Dr. Lee Wittenberg graduated from undergraduate school from Ithaca College in Up-state New York. Upon finishing, he spent 5 years as a Neuroscience and laboratory technician, at University Hospitals– Case Western Reserve University, University of Maryland at Baltimore Medical School, and The Kennedy Krieger institute of John’s Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Dr. Wittenberg then decided to make a career change, and attended a 4-year medical program at The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, finishing medical school in May, 2000. Dr. Wittenberg was granted a 3-year surgical residency at the Miami Veteran’s Hospital under the direction of Dr. Michael Cohen. This is the longest and most thorough type of residency available in Podiatry, and only 15% of available residencies at that time were of this caliber. While in residency, Dr. Wittenberg was trained in Primary Podiatric Medicine, Forefoot Surgery, Reconstructive Rear-foot/Ankle Surgery, Diabetic Would Care and Limb Salvage, Sport
