Specialties

As a branch of the Henderson Libraries, the Green Valley Library seeks to cultivate a literate community by providing every citizen free access to books and information resources, as well as state-​of-​the-​art technology that supports work, school and recreational activities. Located at the corner of Sunset and N. Green Valley Parkway, the library has a comprehensive collection of over 100,000 titles including fiction, non-​fiction, children’s and audio visual materials.

History

Established in 1987.

The Green Valley Library is most recent addition to the Henderson Libraries family. The 22,500 square foot building was built in 1987 and then remodeled in 2009 with improved seating areas, a 36 workstation computer lab, a teen area, study rooms, and additional space for programs and other activities.
