Specialties

As a branch of the Henderson Libraries, the Paseo Verde Library seeks to cultivate a literate community by providing every citizen free access to books and information resources, as well as state-​of-​the-​art technology that supports work, school and recreational activities. Located at the corner of S. Green Valley Parkway and Paseo Verde, the library has a comprehensive collection of over 220,000 titles including fiction, non-​fiction, children’s and audio visual materials. Unique to this location are a 1,000 square foot glass-​wall reading room, a coffee shop, and staffed genealogy room.

History

Established in 2002.

Located in the heart of Green Valley, the 43,000 square foot Paseo Verde Library opened on August 24, 2002, and serves as Henderson Libraries’ flagship location. The District, Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa & Casino, Henderson Pavilion, and Henderson Multigenerational Center are all located nearby. The Paseo Verde Library is home to Henderson Library’s administrative offices, and features 40 workstation computers, a teen area, study rooms, and additional space for programs and other activities.
