Saw Eberhard Maendel, PA to treat me for Pre cancer on arms and body. Prescription did not cove all infected areas and he refused to increase the amount of tubes needed. this is my second experience with the word cancer in it name. The place is a McDonalds. they deal in volume and by their actions a patient is not getting adequate attention. I read all the other Terrable review about this clinic!

The worst service & can’t even explain anything to you. They over charge & bill you for something you didn’t know about. They waste your time & money. The worse office to deal with.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE!!! They are committing insurance fraud!!! Extremely long story short, my son went in to get Accutane (acne medicine) from Steven Hawks who he had seen numerous times. Kept telling him he could get the prescription for $ 50 co pay. It was $ 400 anyway, I got new insurance, which would now be a $ 75 copay, so he made the appointment to get the script. Steven walks into the room and says he can’t give him the Accutane because he is leaving the practice. He walks out and was told to make an appointment with another doctor in the practice who could give him the script. I called the office that same day to tell them I was pissed they didn’t call to cancel the appointment, that my son wasted his time going. They knew his appointment sole purpose was for the accutane and didn’t reschedule him with another doctor. I was told by Carla he would not have to pay for the visit. Low and behold, I was billed.
I called the highest supervisor, David in billing and was told I didn’t have to pay, it was taken care of. I got another bill. This time David tells me he doesn’t have any notes in my chart and I am responsible for paying. So let me get this straight… my son went in to get a prescription, he didn’t get it because the doctor is leaving the practice, but I have to pay for something I didn’t get??? No good bunch of greedy aholes!!!

Dr. Michael Bryan is very confident & puts you at ease answering all of your questions & taking care of your skin problems. He’s my guy for life…

Try to keep this short and simple.
Been seeing Dr. Herman for my allergy needs in the past month and a half. I told him I don’t want to be on any meds to keep me clear but to help me find out what’s causing my flare ups. Did 2 patch tests which you have to schedule a follow up in 2 days so they can take the patch off ur back to get ur results. Did a scratch test and got results 15 minutes later. Now after 4 visits he’s got me on a food diary to record what I eat and what kind of symptoms/​reactions after consumption. He’s explained that its very complex but I feel that he has my best interest in helping me.
The nurse (I forgot her name) she’s very helpful with all my questions and concerns.
Front desk Jane is very helpful and welcoming. Always a Hi, how are you and by, goodbye see you next time. Very personable. Love her.
–1 star because this process of figuring out my skin is still going. I’m not cured yet! But, they have my best interest.

Horrible customer service. Rude obnoxious receptionist, and I say that because there’s no way that tattooed girl finished high school so, no way she has medical certifications. Waited 90 minutes PAST my appt time, yes I arrived 30 min early, and decided to leave, THEN I get a bill for no show fee. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE everyone… use someone else.

VERY poorly managed business office. This doctor is a preferred provider with my insurance, but it didn’t matter. I would have paid less had I been a cash paying customer. I was originally billed $ 106.55 for the NEW patient visit, which I paid. Then, 2 months later sent another bill for $ 192.85, no explanation given. When I called, the lady said they had billed in error and kept trying to blame my insurance. When I ask to speak to a supervisor, she would not let me. Dr. Michael Bryan was friendly. If you must use this clinic establish a cost up front in writing. POOR, POOR business practice. I should have read the other Unilocal reviews prior to making an appointment.

This a very busy office but well managed… seldom there longer than an hour total. We see Steve Hawks who cares for my grandson and has for several months.
He is so kind and compassionate to his needs. We found him to be professional, knowledgeable, and an asset to his profession.

I have to admit, after seeing the reviews here I was afraid to come here. I’ve been here twice so far, and I’ve had good experiences. I go to Eb Maendel PA-​C. Eb is awesome. He listens and addresses concerns. Jennifer, the assistant (?), also answers questions as well. She’s very helpful. Also Kimberly at the front desk is a sweetheart! (9÷23÷15).

Wow, I’m amazed to see that after all these negative responses Dr. Kim is still employed! I’ve had the exact same experiences so I felt compelled to write a review, and it’s comforting to know I’m not the only one. I have seen her 3 times (why did I was so much time/​money?) both here and at the Buffalo location and each time she was dismissive of my concerns, she did not listen, she was super rushed, and kept writing the same prescriptions for me even though I told her they were not working or the side effects were making my skin worse. I have also asked for a full body mole/​cancer check because my mother had a cancerous spot removed and she just said, «Show me the ones that concern you.» YOU’RE THE DOCTOR! Ugh.

On my last visit I even had to ask her to hold on because I had questions about the prescriptions she was giving me; her hand was already on the door and she had not asked me if I had any questions. I had to take the initiate to ask and stop her or else she would have been gone in the blink of an eye! But it was honestly not even worth asking anything because she just repeats herself and talks over you. I may not be a doctor, but I have spent a lot of time researching my skin conditions and she just completely invalidates anything you say that doesn’t reiterate her perspective.

A visit here takes 30 – 60 minutes waiting in the lobby, 10 – 15 minutes waiting in the exam room, and 2 – 5 useless minutes with Dr. Kim before she bolts out the door and has her assistant finish sending out the prescriptions and updating your chart. I highly recommend seeing ANYONE else. I have a different insurance policy now and I really hope they cover other dermatology providers. It was not worth the $ 60/​visit or time wasted. With that being said, does anyone know any good dermatologists in Vegas? Healthcare here is a joke.

Just unbelievably dissapointed with them on many levels. All about the copay and charging insurance and then as well overcharging for things they KNOW arent covered and still let you wait 2 months for an appointment to have done. They blame everyone but themselves and pretend they did not blatantly sucker you into needing to pay out of pocket when they allowed to be scheduled. My opinion would be never see them for anything but sadly insurance recommends them so they will continue to take advantage of people for years to come…

I had a bit of difficulty finding the place. No big signs saying the business name. Check in process was okay. They use this tablet/​iPad for the process, yes it’s heavy but the process is simple enough. There’s an ability to pay on the tablet for co-​pays. But I didn’t know how much was mine, so I had to be called again for it.
We were seen maybe 10 mins after our appointment time. It was my 5-​year old daughter that needed to be seen. Stephen Hawkes, PA was nice enough to engage my child, which I think is a plus. Told him my concerns, prescribed 2 medications, one is coming from a different pharmacy, home delivery without any extra charge. Gave me samples (enough, maybe even more) to be able to take internationally as we have a summer trip coming up. Gave a coupon for 20% off one prescription and another one for no copay coupon for the other medicine! Recommended a lotion and gave me $ 3.00 off coupon, too! The prescription cream was supposed to be two weeks, ending on ⁵⁄₂₈. Her rashes are almost completely gone!!! Where her pediatric PA tried to treat for months!!! Until I had to say enough and give me a referral!!!
The home delivery pharmacy turned out that they do not utilize or provide for our insurance, the lady that called me was super nice and even transferred the script to our local pharmacy. All I had to do was pick-​it up! My biggest issue though is, it’s hard to get a hold of the office you wanted. There’s apparently a main operator that transfers the call to the specific clinic and there are so many questions asked. Left a message for a nurse for follow-​up, since Karen that assisted Stephen Hawkes was so nice and even told me to call anytime I have questions, I did not get such response, or call back up to now. Other than that, I am pleased with the service I received.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars, because it honestly has no redeeming qualities.
I read the terrible reviews online, but Dr. Kim was the only person my insurance covered.
The office staff was cold and unwelcoming. Not the greatest way to start off the visit.
I finally met the doctor my fellow Unilocalers had warned me about, Dr. Kim. I told her how I’d just moved to town, gave her a list of medications I was currently on and how it had taken ten years to find a combo that worked for me. I doubt she was even listening to me, because she decided to switch up my meds (probably to some drug they get paid to sponsor) and then practically ran out the door before I could ask her why she would even contemplate doing that.
I left the paper she gave me at the front desk and called my insurance company as soon as I got home. They found me a doctor who actually listened to me. This woman obviously joined the profession for the money because she has no interest in her patients at all.

You know, I was reading all these bad reviews for Dr. Kim and I felt bad. So I’d like to throw some positivity in there. My visit was pretty good! I came in for a problem with a spot on my foot. She met with me and had me put my foot in her lap and she touched it and inspected it very thoroughly. I expected the visit to be brief (most doctors are, people!!!) there’s people waiting on her in every dang room! If you want a tip, get an appt right after their lunch, so they’re on time for you! Anyhoo, since I’m a cash paying client she actually did a fungus biopsy for me on the house! I thought that was really cool of her, and she even changed the prescription later when the biopsy came thru. stsff was really nice, too! All in all it was pretty good, I’m bringing my husband to see her next week.
Only downside, it was really cold, lol!

An hour late on very first appt! Doesn’t matter how good they may be, the blatant tardiness ruins it. I asked to speak with an office manager and was told they don’t have one, therein lies the problem.

Saw the PA here I am sorry I forgot his name (Steven Hawkes?), the dermatologist for acne. I did have to fill out all the paperwork on their ipad thingie — it was bulky and you have to use this metal pen and tap the ipad like device so you can hear that clicking sound throughout the waiting room — when you get to the ads at the end of your new patient screens (a lot of screens!!!) you can X out of the ads you don’t have to watch them… anyways I was in and out with adult acne medicine rx. Happy with that. And the Retin-​A was only $ 35 at the pharmacy. I do kinda wish the guy would have at least shined a light on my face and/​or maybe looked through a magnifying glass? I don’t know he just kinda kept his distance and had what appeared to be a tiny flashlight in his hand but he didn’t use it LOL so far so good with me at this place. I will be back, well hopefully not!

Dr. Susun Kim at the 7 Hills office is exactly as bad as her numerous negative reviews indicate. Avoid her at all costs.
It is my «bad» for failing to research her before seeking removal of a small skin growth in the sternum area; and for a general skin screening exam. I wrongly assumed the latter would be a comprehensive mapping of my skin. Not so. It was a 20-​second (if that) glance at most of my skin and a «looks good!» No report of any kind, no baseline comparison, no discussion of SKs, moles, other spots. I was in such shock I did not know what to say, nor did I have the time as she zoomed out the door.
The growth was observed (1^st visit), removed (2^nd visit), and biopsied. It was a squamous cell carcinoma and the last step was removing the area around it to ensure no cancerous cells are left behind. This was my lovely 3^rd visit. Dr. Kim gave me 2 options: have it chemically burned off and be left with a red mark scar area, or have it surgically cut out and be left with a white line scar.
It is very hard to read Dr. Kim as she is so brusque and impatient; I got a vague impression that she preferred the chemical burn option. But when I pressed for a comparison of the resulting scars, she admitted the white line scar would be less noticeable, so I opted for that since the subject area was in the center of my chest below the collarbone.
The procedure went very quickly – but then, everything w/​Dr. Kim goes very quickly. The numbing took longer than the «surgery» and all the stitches, dissolving stitches in the dermis and black plastic thread on the top layer.
As she stitched the last layer she was very rough. I felt like an old leather saddle with a gash that she struggled to pull together. Literally, she yanked hard on the non-​dissolving thread used at the epidermis. It was just as if she was late for a run and had to vigorously lace up her tennis shoes in haste.
I actually wondered if I pissed her off by choosing the cutting option instead of the burning option. I was nonplussed. Before I could think of anything to say, she was done and out the door. It’s the last I saw of her. On the 4^th visit for stitch removal, a PA did the honors.
My scar looks like a fake scar by a bad makeup artist for a horror movie. I get the occasional facial from an aesthetician who has been working in Vegas for over 30 years. She says my scar is the worst-​looking suture job she has EVER seen. So much for the unobtrusive option smack in the middle of my chest…
At my aesthetician’s suggestion I have been applying Mederma to the scar and will continue with this for a long time in hopes that the hideousness fades somewhat. The aesthetician was shocked that no one in the LVSCC office suggested Mederma on the scar once it had healed over.
I agree whole-​heartedly with every negative adjective used to describe Dr. Susun Kim: curt, rude, dismissive, in a hurry, can’t be bothered. She is a machine, churning through patients to rack up billings. For someone in a healthcare profession, the «care» part of it is completely and utterly lacking.

Seriously susun kim? I have to pay a $ 60 copay just so you can look at me from across the room for 30 seconds? Not only that but you are treating me for something I may or may not have? I mean you could have at least pretended to be intrested. Also if your patient tells you they have a question don’t answer with «what?» That is just rude. You seriously need a new profession. I wish i would have read the reviews before making and appointment with her. Please don’t waste your time here. Save yourself from a bad experience.

I had an appointment with Susun Kim, D.O. earlier this month because my neck was really itchy and dry. My appointment was for 10 AM but they asked me to come in early to fill out new patient paperwork. I showed up at 9:14 AM to fill out paperwork.
Each person has to fill out a ton of info on an iPad. It goes on and on… there are even commercials for like… diabetes on the iPad that you have to opt out of while filling out info. I found that to be annoying.
I didn’t get called to go back into a room until 10:32 AM and Dr. Kim came in at 10:51 AM. I felt like she was just in and out and didn’t have time for me. I wanted to discuss what could be the cause of my itch but she said «it’s just contact dermatitis» and asked if I was allergic to any medications as she filled out a prescription. She prescribed me a topical steroid and was walking out when I said, «I wanted to ask you about something else.» After waiting for nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment time, I feel like I should be allowed 5 minutes to express my concerns or ask about what could be the underlying issues.
Instead when I asked her about what could be causing a change in my hair and skin, she dismissed me and said, «just get laser hair removal» and left. I was checked out and in the parking lot by 11:01 AM. Unacceptable.
I cancelled my follow up visit because I felt like I was a number rather than a patient. Clearly this practice has gotten too large for the doctors to provide satisfactory bedside manner to patients.
