National Specialty Pharmacy

National Specialty Pharmacy is the best kept pharmacy secret in the valley. Besides making high quality special formulation medications not available at big retail pharmacies like Walgreens or CVS, National also gets me my regular, traditional, every day medications at a lower cost than other pharmacies. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and there is hardly ever a wait when I pick up my prescriptions. If I choose to, National Specialty will deliver my prescriptions to my home or work free of charge! That value alone is worth patronizing this establishment. The staff at NSP has gone above and beyond for me since I started using this pharmacy at least two years ago. This is a very impressive business and I recommend them with confidence to anybody who takes medications or utilizes a pharmacy for any reason. The personalized care and service received from NSP is unparalleled. Thank you NSP for being such an important component in my health care!

My Mom’s primary physician prescribed a special formula topical cream to alleviate pain resulting from a fall and vertebral compression fracture. Fortunately, National Specialty — a compounding pharmacy — is locally located. The staff were superb in working with me to provide the best (less expensive) alternate formulation since her insurance didn’t cover the cream. They also went above and beyond to have the prescription ready same day. Having used specialty formulas in the past, the wait can be one to two weeks for delivery. We locals are very fortunate to have a compounding pharmacy in our back yard with staff who are compassionate as well as competent. Thank you National — wish you all success!

A small local pharmacy that just opened up (Aug. 4^th, 2014) in Henderson (S. Eastern Ave & St. Rose Parkway). It is in the same parking lot as Lowe’s and HomeGoods, for those that are interested in coming here to have their prescriptions filled.
I was referred here after a doctor’s appointment. The prescription was sent electronically, which was convenient for me and I was given a card advertising $ 5 Target gift card for new or transferred prescription for new customers.
The pharmacy is small. The front lobby is small, with the bulk of the business desecrated to housing medications and their organization for filled prescriptions awaiting customer pick up or delivery (free, which is good for me as I do not live in this part of Las Vegas).
They accept Culinary as insurance. That is a huge plus for many of us that have that insurance coverage.
The lady that processed my prescription was friendly and tried to verify coverage and what my out of pocket cost is before I leave. So very professional and customer oriented. There was no line of customers, so wait time was minimal. If the medication was available, I would have been able to pay and leave with my medication. But next day delivery to the local address of your choice is just as acceptable.
Overall a 5 stars experience. Thank you for this top notch customer service experience! Definitely would recommend this pharmacy to any one!
