Now I’m giving them 1 star because first of all we we both had appointments my coworker and I and they helped out a family of 3 that didn’t have appointments and I know because they clearly said it. So Kevin made me upset when he send me a note here on Unilocal trying to lie to help the business and they should clearly know my skin definitely needs water I’m definitely never recommending this place to anyone

I love this nail salon. Everyone is so friendly. All the nail techs do a great job. I love the deluxe pedi with hot stones. It feels amazing. The salon is spotless. The technique they use to remove gel polish keeps your nails healthy. Large assortment of colors, plus design ideas. I refer everyone to this salon. Plus they have wax services. I have been coming here for 6 months.

Went there with a friend and the nail artists were rushing threw the nails. Kevin made a comment at the end telling the other girl «ha I beat you» my nails look horrible, the polish is horribly uneven. Toes look 5 times worse. The lady who did my toes didn’t know how to do gel. I’ve been going there for years and the past 2 months I’ve been going there have just been horrible. Sadly done with this place now.

This is a great place to go to if your looking to get a mani or pedi. They all do a great job, but my favorite is Tiffany. She takes her time to ensure your nails will turn out amazing !

Love. Quality. Nail tech defiantly took her time. Love the décor. Came in to kill time before work, and fell in love. Love the quality or polish !

EDITED — they made everything right by going above and beyond. I have since changed my review because they had an issue with a new employee.
Firstly, I’m a 51 year old women who gets my nails done every two weeks like clockwork because I am a dealer. This is the worst experience HANDS DOWN that I have ever had. My nail tech seemed very inexperienced. When she filed my one nail, she dug the file in so hard that it was bleeding. If course, I winced and pulled away. She apologized and then throughout the session, she did it two more times to the same damn finger! She filed my nails with the dremel so much that it was very painful and kept hitting the side skin of my fingers with the dremel. I was literally sitting in the chair with tears streaming down my face! All I could think was please hurry so I can get the hell out of here. Today is the day after, my nail is so sore I can’t hardly use it and the gel is peeling off and the stuff under is sticky. My nails are totally uneven and a mess. Just RIDICULOUS. I am not a confrontational person, but I would avoid this place at all cost.

I’ve been to plenty of places in town and around the area and this is by FAR my favorite. I’ve either had my hands or feet done by every staff member, and I have no complaints. In fact, I can’t wait to catch up with Jane bi-​weekly while I get cute new gel colors.
Jane always knows just what I want, remembers what’s going on in my life and as a customer… Nothing can beat that.
Good price, honest staff, beautiful work, and the décor is absolutely beautiful. I can’t tell you how tired I got seeing the white bright lights, plain white walls with cheap photos, and old machines at the other places.
If you’re in the area or even if you’re not, I suggest this place. I’ve since moved further away, but I’ll travel for Jane and Tiffany did a great job on my toes!

I’ve been coming to this salon for over 3 years. It’s under new management and boy have they cleaned the salon up! It looks great! I go to Tiffany and am always thrilled with the job she does! She’s VERY particular about her work! When I can’t get into Tiffany, I go to Jane, she too does a fantastic job! If you want to be happy and have your gel last four weeks… I strongly suggest you go see them!!!

Jane has been doing my nails for over 5 years. She takes her time with my nails. I’ve never had a problem wiht any of my nails ever. I will give her ideas of what I’d like on my nails and she will «nail» it!!! She is Good!!! Everytime I’ve gone into New Horizon nails, everyone has been very friendly. The place is always clean.

Got my nails done by Kevin on Monday. He did an amazingggg job. I am a perfectionist and he was :) he made sure my nails were short without making them too square :) he definitely knows what petite looks like:) definitely will be asking for him every time I go in

I have been coming to Jane for 3 months now for both acrylic nails and gel pedis, and have been extremely happy every time! I am usually a nail salon jumper, going from place to place but I have been so happy with her work and personality that I can’t imagine going anywhere else now. She’s so sweet and caring and always makes me feel like a priority. My nails are always beautiful and have lasted much longer then they have in the past and never chip or crack. I’m
very particular about the shape of my nails and she always does a perfect job and remembers exactly what I want.
The salon itself is very clean and inviting. I’ve always felt very comfortable here. Everyone who works here is so nice to me and I am always met with smiles and friendly faces.

I’ve been getting my nails done here for over year. Great service! Never been disappointed!

So I’ll never be going back to this place again!!! Paid $ 90 for a gel mani and pedi… are u kidding me? The lady billed me $ 50 for a gel pedi and $ 40 for gel mani and never once quoted me those prices. I’ve gotten my nails done in Beverly Hills for less! What a scam. Not to mention the place is dirty with chairs that look like get haven’t been cleaned in ages. Should of stuck with the one salon closest to my house instead :(

Went with my 11 year old granddaughter for a pedicure. She put gel coat on her toenails instead of polish, and we noticed when we got home they were sticky, never dried even by morning. It was awful — lumpy, sticky nails.
I called in the morning and they told us to come back — they would redo the nails — which they did. But they accused me of putting gel coat over her nails after we got home!!!
Never again — he had to use a dremel tool to clean her toenail beds …

Have been going here since last year September 2014. Went here for the first time to get my nails fixed because the previous person (from a different nail salon) who did my nails did a really bad job. Tony, the owner, took a look at them, fixed them right away — right on spot and even gave me a free bottle of their nail oil since I told them that my nails got so dry from the acrylic. I was so impressed with their service that I decided to come back again the next 2 weeks to get a new set and I have to tell you, I have never been disappointed ever since. I always get my nails done by Tiffany, sweet Asian woman who never fails to do exactly what I want. Yes, I’m very picky and very detailed when it comes to my nails and it just so happens that Tiffany knows exactly what I want and does it how I want them to look. It’s been almost a year now since I’ve been going there and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else. If you are planning to go here for the first time, I would highly recommend calling them and scheduling an appointment. Although walk-​ins are welcome, they can get pretty busy depending on what day you come and what time as well. Overall, service is great and I would also like to mention that their new renovation with the salon looks beautiful! I honestly can’t wait to see the final look of this place.

I’ve been in 2 times today! Once for my infill of acrylic and gel on top. It was awful completely flooded my nails with gel one is a wierd shape. I filed them myself and peeled the gel off my finger. I went back in and showed the lady what was wrong and she did them again and I came off worse really bad job. My 5 year old could of done better. Never going back!

Wasn’t good, wasn’t the worst manicure I’ve ever had.
I would not come back. Here’s the breakdown:
Price: Wonderful! Manicure $ 15. Done and done.
Service: At first my manicurist, Kelly, was a little stand offish and argumentative with me, specifically when it came to the shape I wanted my nails. However, later during my manicure she became much more friendly and she ended up being very pleasant.
Quality of manicure: Initially, I was very happy with my manicure. The color looked great and my nails really needed some pampering. However, a few days later my nails stated breaking left and right. I think it was they way they were shaped that lead them to break so easily. Additionally, my cuticles looked horrible and my nail polish started chipping and cracking. Needless to say they look awful now and I need another manicure ASAP.
Color options: They have a lot, but nothing is organized. I like when salons either organize their polishes by color or by brand. All of their polishes are all over the place and it’s very hard to pick a color in a timely manner.
Atmosphere: Dark and kind of messy/​borderline dirty. I was actually a little nervous about the tools my manicurist was using on me, as they looked pretty unclean.
Overall, if you need your nails done quickly, cheaply, and you don’t need them to last longer than a day come here. If you want lasting quality with a friendly, clean, and organized salon please go elsewhere.

I’m very disappointed with this place. I came in with my sister to have a polish change on our toes. A few minutes after I arrived I decided on getting an acrylic full set. I was immediately seated and a woman got started on my nails.
I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she barely looked at it. I just shrugged it off and made sure to show her again before she painted the nail. Starting on the list of awful things that happened what that she used a power sander on my natural nails. As I learned from other manicures, the power sander was too powerful for the natural nail. She ended up sanding my already thin nail down to where it started to look a little pink.
Then after she applied the tips and acrylic, she went on the shape the nail. The picture I showed again had a pointy but mostly rounded. She then told me, in a whisper by the way, that it’ll be $ 5 extra for the pointy shape. I had never been charged for a specific nail shape, but that’s what I wanted. While she was shaping and sanding down the nail to make it smooth and even, I felt how messy she was with it. The power sander kept touching the skin around the nail. Every nail felt warm while she was doing it and it really hurt. When I would tell her, it stopped for the rest of the nail, but would still continue.
On my right ring finger, I felt a sharp pain and couldn’t see what happened. Then she grabbed a small blue bottle and squirted on the cut. It stung like crazy, I couldn’t bare it. After that she asked again what design I wanted and I showed the picture again. The look she gave it was very short, but I kept it out so she can see.
She applied the polish, and at a certain point she asked if I liked it. It was just a plain, red french tip. It’s obviously not what I wanted, but my fingers hurt so much that I just said yes just to get this hell manicure over with.
And finally when I got home, I saw even more problems. There were streaks of red all over, uneven rounded tips, and lots of little bubble on a few nails. And now almost 5 hours later, I’m struggling to type this on my phone because all my fingertips are extremely tender and sore.
I’m just very upset with what I left the salon with. In retrospect I should have gone back in and said something but I don’t think I could have gone through a second set. I definitely won’t be coming back and I absolutely don’t recommend this place to anyone.
The only stars they get was from the nail polish changes for myself and my sister. She really loved the color she got and my french polish was done well.

I had one bad experience here but my recent visit made up for it completely. The owner, Tony, is a great nail tech and you can tell he really cares about his customers. Both Tony and Aiden are pretty skilled at nail design. The hot stone pedicures are really awesome here, as well!
One tip– avoid getting service from Mary. I am sorry to have to say that, but my sisters and I have had nothing but bad experiences from her. Go to anyone but her.
