Writing from my honest experience… Which I find to be very sad considering I never had a problem in the two years my husband and I lived there. We loved the community when we first moved and never had any problems while living there. The area is quiet and the leasing agents tend to walk the grounds from time to time. In our experience however it was more so the staff that was completely rude and left us a bad taste when we finally moved. I’m so relived that we never have to go back again! The service they provide is not to «please» your tenant but rather nickle and dime them for all they’ve got upon moving out. Seriously, they charged us for replacing the ENTIRE carpet in our apartment, when the carpet wasn’t even brand new and ALREADY lifting upon our arrival! They also charged us for one pee spot that our friends dog who we baby-​sat left! Need I mention, we took the time to even shampoo the carpet before we left! The place looked spotless to me and acceptable, yet on top of all of that cleaning, they charged us for «wiping down the draws» the dust… In the drawers… Normal wear on any house… And that was worth $ 150, not $ 25-​$ 75 no the whole $ 150 cleaning over NOT wiping down drawers! If you ask me that is beyond ridiculous. When we tried to fight it, the director or whoever Christina is was not considerate at all, (in fact she was need I say a total B****)nor did they offer any sort of discounts considering we paid our rent every month and never caused any issues while there. It really just left the WORST impression and I’ll never recommend this place to anyone unless they’re willing to pay a fortune for the dust they leave behind.

I love living here. Very quiet and the whole staff including maintanence is really nice and helpful. Also I love the covered parking and night security. Plus it’s gated and did I mention, quiet? I feel very safe living here.

Great complex! Mario and Lexi are great staff members! They have been helpful with any questions I have had. The pool is fabulous except for it’s pretty freezing. The apartments are really nice with updated everything! We have lived here for two years and haven’t had any problems except for our first apartment was on the bottom floor and we had a bunch of roaches. But hey it’s Las Vegas and they are freaking everywhere. Now that we are located on the second floor I have only seen one roach. Plus they do spray for you every week.

I want to give an honest review about the property. I normally don’t review buy my positive experience here will include everything I was looking for when I moved in June of 2015. I am a single male working professionally for a hotel on the strip. I moved here from out of state and found that hotels in Henderson were the most reputable.
The main reason I chose this complex is because is away from the main residential area of Henderson but not too far from grocery stores and highways.
I moved into a ground floor unit in the back area of the complex and have not had a single. problem. The appliances perform great and I have a unit that has wood floors. When I moved in Mario is the first person I encountered. One other gentleman in the next office and a girl who occupied the main desk helped me as well. They gave me brief tour and answered all quesitons I had. Make sure you come with certain questions for safety and quality. Quesitons I asked where:
«what is my utility responsiblity»
«how safe is the area»
«do you have hidden fees»
«what is the outboarding process?»
— I have had problems with previous renting situations so its good to ask this quesition.

As far as my experince here its been great. My main concern about being on a ground floor was bugs. Mario ensured me they spray every week and if I want inside or outside spraying all I have to do is request it. The only bug problems I have had were on my porch on my first floor unit… What can you do about that? lol.
Since I work 50+ hours a week I was worried about upstairs neighbors making noise. I can honestly say that the only noise I heard was the day they were moving in.
The ceilings are high, but since I only run my air conditioner 4 – 5 hours a day my electric bill has been 40 per month. I can see a full time running of the AC about $ 200 but thats for families that are in the house ²⁴⁄₇.
I had one issue with my refridgerator ice machine. I called the office to make a request and it was done the next day. When I went to the gym to workout the head engineer/​groundskeeper (I’m assuming) came and introduced himself to me. He specifically came up to me and said he has never seen me before and would like to introduce himself. It was amazing his level of service and commitment.
I work as Front office manager for a hotel on the strip and I can recognize authentic service when I see it.
To give my hones opinion this is not the only complex in the area to provide all the values this place does. I love granite countertops and Veristas has them so that sold me. Each complex has it’s own niche so please don’t limit yourself to this one complex. When I moved here I checked summerlin, strip area and Henderson. Henderson area was the best. Even if you don’t pick Veritas any place in the area will be better than other areas.
This review is coming from a single male professional who is only here for 12 – 18 months. Permanently setting up shop may make you consider other options.

I’m a current tenant at these apartments. They are very nice and this review is not about that, I believe there business practices are unethical and kind of shady. I have been here for a year and my lease is going to expire in July, I have never been late for rent and never had any complaints. Now after I have given them a year of my business in order for me to continue on a Month to Month lease they are increasing my rent from $ 1,000 to $ 1,600. This is wrong. I can understand them doing that for a new lease tenant, but to do that to a present tenant who has been there for a year already is not right. I have rented many properties; houses and apartments and I have never had a land lord increase the rent so much to force a tenant to resign a year lease. I can understand a little rent increase to make up for inflation or what not but a $ 600 increase is just wrong and unethical. I know your saying well just sign the year lease, well that’s not an option because my family is looking into buying a house soon and want to leave our options open because it needs to be built. You can take from this what you want, if you like being forced to sign contracts or risk being punished financially if not then this is the place for you.

I lived at this complex for two years in two different style apartments. I love the modern look! The first plan I had was on the first level with hard wood floors. The most recent plan had the loft inside. Mario helped me with the transfer from each apartment and it went very smooth. I just adore him! Very fun and friendly. I was bummed he wasn’t there when I turned in keys. :(
I just moved out of the loft and Christina has been amazing with this move out!
They offer a cleaning service upon move out for $ 150, so I definitely took them up on it! Made move out easy and worth it!
I do recommend living here!
Only a couple downfalls that I should mention. In both units I had, the air conditioning was extremely loud. If I had that on, and the washer on (which was in the kitchen) Had to turn the tv on max volume. haha. The walls are a tad thin as well. In my ground level apartment, I heard pretty much everything my upstairs neighbors were saying.
I did adore the way the apartment looked. I love the modern design and detail.
Grounds were kept up and I felt very safe there. Very friendly staff, and not bad pricing either.
Loved that it was so close to Target and grocery shopping. Pretty much everything on Eastern. :)

My husband and I moved in last year, and we love it here! We re-​leased yesterday and the rent only went up 20 $ or so. PLUS a free carpet cleaning. Mario is always the one to help us & he is just so great! Answered every question we had before we even asked. The apartment homes are great size! I don’t feel smothered here like other properties! The yoga/​dance studio is amazing, and the complex is literally walking distance to a gas station… Saved my life a few times. There is an option to have auto pay rent… Which for us; is extremely convenient! SO much to say about Veritas! And every single thing is good!

I’ve lived here for a year and just renewed my lease! They only increased my rent about $ 20 which is less than I was expecting. Working for MGM Resorts they waived my cleaning fee which was AMAZING and definitely a huge selling point.
Renee, one of the ladies who works in the office, was AMAZING. She’s so down to earth and made the decision to rent here super easy! They have «community» events all the time but because of my work schedule I rarely get to go to them! They have 3 pools and a hot tub! They all have areas to grill and shower, etc! They are super pet friendly and overall there isn’t much noise or disruptions. The walls are pretty thin though and I can hear the tv word for word coming from the unit above me.
Overall, Veritas is a great place to live!

I have lived here for almost 4 years and continue to stay here because of how great the staff and property is! In fact, the staff (including maintenance) is the best it’s ever been! Completely professional and genuine! Lexi, Mario, and Joe I tend to come in contact with the most and they are awesome people to work with! The location is great too, close to everything you need and 15 minutes from the strip!

I absolutely loved living here! I had a nice spacious one bedroom apartment to myself! Living alone, I had concerns with safety but Veritas made me feel very safe. They had 24 hour security and each unit had a built in alarm system. They always have maintenance around that get work orders done in a very timely manner. The facilities and amenities are beautiful and state of the art. Best of all, the office staff was great. They focused on building a community within the Veritas apartment by celebrating holidays with us for example a wrapping station for gifts around Christmas, or continental breakfasts for Valentine’s Day. They host many events and raffles. They also promote health and wellness and whenever a dog goes missing, you bet you get an email in your inbox to keep an eye out. If I didn’t have to leave I would’ve stayed. Thank you Michael for all of your great work and patience!

A close relative moved in here in August 2013 for a one year lease! Moved out of the apartment to return home in May 2014 continuing to pay the rent, per contract, on time every month and obviously NOT continuing with a lease beyond the one year.
Did not check the contract, which states a 60 (YES SIXTY) day notice (NEVER HAVE I HEARD OF A 60 day notice)! Thinking it was a months notice ready to give a 30 day notice when receive a notice from the management of Veritas to say «hey we are at 30 days from the end of your lease and you didn’t give 60 days notice)!!!
Okay, we screwed up, how do we make this right? Next come all sorts of agreements, promises etc. The girls move out of the property at the end of August, pay to have it cleaned etc. The final bill arrives and guess what? Oh yes, all of the promises have disappeared and what was a $ 1,050 a month rent is now $ 1,700 plus loss of down payment etc etc.
Now I bet you any money that the management company has re-​rented the apartment so is not only obtaining rent from a new renter BUT TOTALLY SCREWING THE PRIOR RENTER AT THE SAME TIME!!!
Outrageous and, I believe, unethical trading by the management.
If you must live here please remember that there is a 60 day notice period or is this only when they rent to a couple of young girls who don’t know any better.
Shame on them.

I have lived here for a few years and I enjoy it. The only problems I have had are the thin walls! The location is convenient and office staff is very nice. I love how there are so many little shops right down the street and my strip view is excellent, especially during NYE.

I love this place, I don’t know if I got the magic apartment or something, but this place is fantastic. It’s so quiet, the neighbors are awesome, the faculty is amazing. I love it here. It’s a little expensive, but it’s overall just a great place.

Well, to start off this place is an amazing apartment complex to live at and it feels like a community. I don’t really feel like I live in an apartment complex, I more feel like I live in a resort style complex almost like a hotel. I love that there is four different pools so if one pool is crowded you can go to the others to use them or just relax. My apartment is by far amazing. It has hard wood flooring which is a top notch quality and I love how my apartment is located right by the pool. The apartment itself sold itself to me and it truly amazing. I have yet to find a complaint about my apartment or the property. I honestly love the location but it is tucked away but not to hidden away from everything. I work on the strip so it is an easy commute for me to take either the 15 or 215 freeway. I love having the options depending on the traffic that day or I could take Las Vegas Blvd all the way down. This apartment complex is located right by all the shopping and dinning on Eastern Ave which is very helpful to me. I love having all these options right by my apartment and not having to go far at all. It only takes about 15 minutes for me to get to the strip which is super close for me since I would not want to live on the strip. It seems all the apartments down there are old and very run down. I honestly think this complex is a great place to live and has many options available for the residents. The staff puts on resident events and everyone in the office always greets you with a smile and always has time for the residents. I honestly would not move from this complex unless I moved out of Nevada. I would definitely recommended it to all of my family and friends.

This place was great when I moved in 4.5 years ago. The location is great and the apartment was new (I have been the only person to live in my apartment) and maintenance is always timely and issue is resolved. The management company cared about their tenants and were very selective on who the rented to. THEN the new management took over!!! Nothing but issues!
They rent to anyone! To the point where I do not feel safe and they do not care! Unprofessional staff where the tenant is always wrong. Security not reachable. I actually recommended this place to a friend and 6 months later she moved out because of the constant domestic disturbance. I am now moving out in 6 days and cannot wait to put this constant drama behind me! Don’t rent here! Too many choices!

I moved in a few months ago and have had nothing but positive experiences. The complex is nicely maintained with pool and 24 hour gym. The clubhouse is modern and offers complimentary coffee and pet treats. Dogs are allowed, but I haven’t seen any mess left lying around. The pool is nice, though not heated for the winter. I chose here because I like the floor plans which are different than the other complexes in the area. Also maintenance is freaky fast; same day freaky fast. The drawbacks are the access from St. Rose which can be tricky to get used to and covered parking that costs a little extra each month. After living in an older complex for two years, my experience here at Veritas has been far superior.

Absolutely terrible place to live. It’s too bad a zero star option is not available. The property itself isn’t too terrible… no cockroaches or scorpions running amuck, but the cold, impersonal, money-​hungry manner of the front office makes you feel ripped off every time you drop your rent in the box. They will charge you little fees for everything. They only email you notices, so if you do not check it, and you miss a message… expect a fee of some kind. They have trees all around the property that drip sap on the cars, they have covered spots available for purchase. There are people that have tarps over their cars to avoid the sap and having to buy a spot. The maintenance people routinely fail to show up for appointments… They change the gate code without any warning… There is so much window/​sliding glass that the apartments are hot in summer and very cold in winter. You pretty much live in a sun porch… I could truly go on and on… PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY FAR AWAY… FAR FAR AWAY.

Moved in January 2011, place looked band new and I believe complex was only 1 – 2 years old. Everything in complex was on point clean, land scrapping done, and inside apartment clean with all new modern appliances. After a year a new company came over and took over the complex, spoon after that things really started to go down hill. First was the parking spaces, had bought 2, 51 and 50 but came home one day to find out their was a car in my spot. Turns out they wrote the wrong number of spot on the paper work. Then soon was the remotes for the gates. Had 2 of them and everything since living there 1 always did not work wether is was for front gate or back gate. Then started noticing a lot of spiders and bugs, even one day I killed 3 black widows my self and had to call office to get sprayed out outside but they only sprayed my apartment not surrounding. And I can go on and on about little things. I highly recommend not moving in not worth the money. You can get a another apartment for less accommodation but for less money and not worth the headache.

Do not move in here. My apartment was broken into while I lived here while the door was locked and alarm set; complete inside job. They didn’t even apologize, offer to change the locks… etc. In addition it is a gated community and the gates are often broken leaving residents unable to reach their houses unless you park outside and jump over. Finally the office staff misinformed me of my lease expiration and then blamed it on me and continued to charge me rent after the lease had ended. The office staff does not care about the tenants and are only concerned with profit. Definitely not a place I would recommend.
