Megan started as a volunteer doula at her local county hospital before taking her professional business training in 2014. Since then, she has served families all across the Bay Area of California, and continues to devote herself to birthwork.

My name is Megan Shinkle, and I am a professionally trained Birth and Postpartum Doula in the Bay Area of California. I work closely with families to assist them as they transition through their pregnancy, labor, birth, surrogacy, adoption, or postpartum period by providing evidence-​based recommendations, bias-​free support, emotional stability, and physical comfort. Each family and each situation are unique, and together, we can formulate a plan that most closely aligns with your family’s desires.

When I am not working, I can be found gardening, reading, cooking delicious meals for my own family, or exploring nature.
