Business Owner
Shalini is a DONA International trained birth doula, childbirth educator, and placenta encapsulation specialist based in San Francisco, California. She actively supports women during their pregnancy by listening carefully and responding to their needs throughout the pregnancy process so they are able to have the birth experience of their choice. She believes that women have an inner knowledge, strength and intuitive power to birth their babies. Shalini hopes to assist them in finding this power and knowledge to help create a positive and empowering birth experience for all involved.
Shalini lives in Inner Sunset with her husband and enjoys cooking, gardening, yoga, and exploring the Bay Area as an avid hiker and cyclist.
