Manhattan Pizza

I came here yesterday, in search of wings. My mouth was SET for mild buffalo wings and fries.
I stepped up to the counter to order. There weren’t too many other people in the restaurant, so I had hopes that I could get my food fairly quickly.
I was using an American Express giftcard that I know had some sort of balance, but I wasn’t sure what it was. I told them, «I think it has around $ 5, so the rest, I will pay in cash.» Perhaps the two ladies didn’t hear me, but they ran the card and were like, «It’s declined». Well, yes, for the full $ 14, yes it would be. So we got the balance and I paid the rest in cash. Kind of odd, but not totally bad.
My meal took awhile, but I didn’t mind, as I don’t like medium rare wings. The lady finally delivered my wings. I asked about my fries and she told me, with an attitude, «They’re coming!» Ok, but you set the wings down and began to walk away — how the hell was I supposed to know they were coming?
The wings were bad. They were dry and had very little sauce. They tasted old too. Clearly, they refried them a few times. And the fries were barely cooked. The meal was just terrible. I won’t be returning. Bad service AND bad food that took too long to come out. No thank you.

I come here occasionally for lunch. The pizza here is decent and they have great lunch special for slices and sandwiches.

We get delivery and they come usually in 45 mins. I like that we can save our favorite orders when we order online. This makes it quicker to order in the future. Online, you can also specify how much of each ingredient you want, i.e. light peppers, normal onions, heavy red pepper, etc. Great whole wheat crust on their pizzas. The times they’ve made mistakes on our order, which hasn’t been often, they do make things right. My husband really likes their canals and I’ve enjoyed their baked chocolate chip cookies.

I ordered my pizza online and not even 10 – 15 minutes later it showed up at my door, hot and ready! If was delicious and exactly what I ordered. Good price too. I definitely recommend!

We’ve been ordering since the store opened, and the food used to be very good. Not anymore, I’m sad to report. Following is just a selection of what’s been delivered during the past 3 months:
* pizza not fully cooked
* pizza toppings that slid off the pizza (delivery via skateboard?)
* over-​cooked chicken wings
* chicken Cesear salad with lettuce and over-​cooked chicken only (no dressing, parm, or croutons)
* chicken parm (menu states breaded chicken) but made with chicken bites (used for Cesear salad), not breaded, and with over-​cooked pasta. (Thrown away because 2 bites literally left me heaving)
* pepperoni bites, sans pepperoni (seriously??)
* mozzarella sticks fried in oil that tasted like grocery cart lube
* lack of any employee who can help me redeem 2,200 reward points (i.e., several hundred dollars in meals spent at this restaurant), and a manager (Sammy) who is never around during the numerous times I’ve called.
* a rude employee who told me twice to look up the phone number on Google for the new Sterling location (really, sharing the number was too much for you?)
I was calm when I started writing this review, but my frustration grew as I continued writing. It’s obvious that this location no longer cares about quality of service and food, and it’s really unfortunate because it used to be awesome. If Sammy wants to talk with me, it wouldn’t be too difficult to learn my identity: I’ve been told numerous times that I’m their (former) best customer.
Sigh.

Ate in this time and it was still good. They had a TV playing sports and 97.1 playing on the radio, so it was comfy.
Food was good, though a little pricey. I got a Chicken Caesar Salad, a slice of cheese, and a coke for $ 15 before tip. Thats like a whole medium or large pizza.
I wish they had smaller side salads, and options for slices outside cheese and pepperoni.
Still good though.

Not fantastic, not bad. Only ever got take out.

Manhattan Pizza… I want to love you but sadly 2 of the last 3 delivery orders have gone terribly wrong. The first time we ordered, the pizza was great and I was convinced we had found a new pizza place since I strongly dislike Dominos, Pizza Hut and Papa Johns.
Our second order arrived with the pizza completely on one side of the box. Like someone had stood the box up on its side. Apparently it had been that way for awhile because the grease from the cheese had literally soaked through and destroyed the box. We called immediately and they sent over a new pizza which took almost an hour to get. At least they fixed it right?
The third order was for two small pizzas. One gluten free and one supreme. I was so excited when I sat down with a slice on my plate ready to relax in front of the tv. But no… the pizza was not cooked. Like literally the crust was still completely mushy dough. On both pizzas. I didn’t even bother calling back because I was so over it.
Maybe once the new store closer to my house opens I’ll try them again but I won’t be ordering from this particular location again.

Unbelievable. Just called to order a sizable delivery order. The woman was horrendously rude and hung up on me. Disgusting woman just got your business this poor review and now it is publicly noted for all customers to see. Well done. Well done indeed.

OMG!!! Sent me expired sour buffalo wings. I could tell as soon as I opened the container, had someone else smell them and they said they were bad. Wth!!! And al you get is a credit really!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE PLEASE!!! Best to get Dominos!!!

This was some of the best pizza I have had. My husband and and I got the Manhattan Supreme and it was amazing. Such fresh toppings and not overly seasoned. Great start to our vacation. We will be back before going home.

Wish I could rate better. But I ordered 4 things and only two arrived. This was delivery. Got the pizza and spaghetti. But I actually received an empty Styrofoam container that was supposed to have the appetizer. And also a dessert was missing. Too bad. Will never order again. For what it was worth, the pizza (ordered well done) was great. Maybe best as an eat in Joint. I did end up paying for things I never received which also is making me mad in this review. I just feel like that should never happen if the business has good management?

I love the service and food… Of course the pizza is amazing but the steak and cheese is my favorite
Togo boxes are cut out so the fries don’t get soggy that’s amazing in my book

My go-​to pizza place. Best pizza I have had in Northern Virginia. It’s that floppy, New York style that you just love. They are always really easy to order with over the phone, and quick to deliver. Sometimes they get a little confused at the front door (we have to buzz people into our building), even when I give them directions. But other than that, we’ve never had any issues with them. And did I mention their pizza is yummy as anything? Cause it is.

For those that understand I will just say conveyor belt pizza.
When I walk into a pizza joint and I see a conveyor belt, I usually walk out. However, I was really hungry so I stayed.
Pizza is at best two stars. Mozzarella sticks are good.
It should be a crime to call belt pizza ny pizza, that could have you swimming worth the fishes in ny

So today I needed something to send my special one who is in Virginia (& I am currently in Cali), so, I ordered ONLINE. Signed-​up on website, customized my order, received a call from the store confirming my specifications, and delivery right to his door — all within an hour! It’s as good as it gets. I’m very satisfied. Transaction went wonderfully.
I ordered half buffalo chicken and half bianca on one large pie. I also added a little note to make it personalized. Much satisfaction, the delivery arrived fast and the product arrived hot. Many thanks!

My first order, a Reuben with fries and a Greek salad with blue cheese dressing. Sandwich tasted fantastic, but could have used more meat. Had extra sauce and onions put on it, and everything was delicious. The salad was a good side to have. The fries were crispy.
The price paid for my food was a bit steep, $ 20 for two items. Anyone on a budget like me might want to shop around

Fabulous service today when it’s snowing up to 8 inches! The man who answered the phone was courteous and polite. They said because of the snow it could take an hour but they were at my door in less than 30 minutes.
I love their gluten free pizza option, it is the best priced in the area and they were very generous with their toppings. I ordered the gluten free Hawaiian pizza. Good quality ham and big chunks of pineapple, plus lots of gooey cheese. I will definitely be ordering again soon!

I ordered online. I should have got a «FREE MEDIUM CHEESE PIZZA» because I ordered first time.
The driver brought only the regular order, he did not have the free pizza, and when I asked him about it, I got as answer «Thats what you ordered».
The pizza was ok, but in the future I will order somewhere else. I do not like to be cheated…

I tried this place for the first time a couple of days ago.
The staff was friendly at least…
I only ordered the chicken wings. They were the worst chicken wings I’ve ever eaten. It was almost as if they had been cooked too long — very dry taste and texture. The chicken pieces were odd — very thin «drums» mostly all bone with VERY little chicken, and stuck together. There was also very little sauce on the wings.
Also, there was water all over the restaurant floor. Water on the floor where you walk to order, the narrow hallway, and all over the bathroom. Not only was it gross, the conditions were a safety hazard.
I saw that they offer gluten free pizza. I may be willing to try this place out in the future and give the gluten free pizza a chance. I’m hesitant due to my experience though.
