Dr. Vahab loves what he does, which is giving kids, teens and adults smiles that they will have for the rest of their lives. All the members of our office strive to create a fun and friendly environment so our patients have a pleasant and positive experience.
Dr. Vahab gives new patients his undivided attention for it is the patient’s right to have all of their questions answered without being rushed. He is happy to communicate personally by e-mail, texting and by mobile phone to ensure that his patients are always comfortable and informed.
Dr. Vahab provides orthodontics, metal braces, esthetic braces, Invisalign, Invisalign teen, dentofacial orthopedics, in Herndon, Reston, Sterling, Fairfax County, Centerville and beyond.

Dr. Vahab is honored to be working with two of northern Virginia’s top dentists; pediatric dentist, Dr. Lezley Mcilveen and general dentist Dr. Joyce Freedman. Their practice has been serving the surrounding community for over 13 years and their friendly and devoted staff will help Dr. Vahab make you smile :)

Dr. Vahab earned his B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He then began a career in molecular genetics working at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories in NY, and later started a PhD in Plant Cell and Molecular Biology at Cornell University. Dr. Vahab left grad school to begin dental training at SUNY Stony brook in NY. He completed an orthodontic residency and a M.S. in Oral Biology at U. of Maryland. Dr. Vahab has received many awards including the Cornell University Plant Cell and Molecular Biology Fellowship, the International Assoc. for Dental Research Fellowship, the American Assoc. of Orthodontists Award, and the Dr. John A. Gwinnett Award for excellence in Oral Biology and General Dentistry. He is a past president of the Stony Brook Dental Research Society, and delivered the commencement speech at his dental school graduation. Dr. Vahab lives in DC with his wife Lana where they enjoy treasure hunting at thrift and antique shops on their vintage tandem bicycle.
