I have to say that I love this Vet. We normally rescue dogs and they have been so caring. Moving here 4 years ago after 30 years with my vet in Hendersonville, NC was a huge change for me. My dogs have always been my children. The bedside manner and heart they have for my 4 girls has been phenomenal. I have never boarded an animal there but I have had A+ diagnosis and care with High Point Veternarian. I highly recommend them. I know my children have great care and accurate diagnosis when they are there!

I used to take my dogs to this vet and have also had them boarded here twice. Dr. Sink is very friendly and knowledgeable and I’ve rarely been able to see him on my visits unfortunately. Vet techs here are really nice and obviously care about animals.
During a recent boarding, both my dogs got horrendous diarrhea… most likely due to stress (hopefully). They were prescribed a med for it and were given about 2 days worth of pills until we picked them up. When we brought them home, I noticed that we were charged for the quantity of a week’s worth of the medication and were not given the remaining pills that we paid for. I called to see if they still had the remaining pills for us and they did and told us to come get them. I sent my husband to get them and apparently he got his head bitten off by a receptionist because he didn’t sign in. It was a minor inconvenience to have to come back to pick up the pills, however please don’t inconvenience us further by asking us to «sign in» to speak a sentence to you regarding the nature of his visit to retrieve the item that your facility forgot to give us.
The bad part of this business and main reason for the 1 star rating is the receptionists at the front desk (worst one is a middle aged woman with short blonde hair). The majority of them are extremely rude and snippy (there are maybe 2 that are friendly and I’ve never had an issue from). I’ve been hung up on while on hold, I’ve been barked at for making a complaint (by the receptionist, not my dog), and I’m just tired of paying money only to be treated like they don’t appreciate my business. I’m an adult, and I demand a very minimal amount of respect as a customer of a business. I simply choose to no longer give them my business at all.

I like Dr. Sink’s office alot, and would recommend him to anyone. He is reasonably priced for his services and the staff is very friendly and truly care about animals. I wasn’t really thrilled with the grooming, but I know they had students working that day, which is the only reason I took out a star.
