I love this place. The owner did my nails and she did a really good job and she is so polite!

I have been coming here since they did their grand opening. They do a great job and are always friendly. Lately I noticed there has been a lot of new girls and my regular girls have not been there. That makes me a bit nervous but I’m rolling with the flow. I think they could use some improvement with eyebrow waxing. Some girls are very good and some not so much. I’ve left there disappointed with my eye waxing. I would feel bad telling the girl I wanted someone else to do them but for now on I’m just going to ask because I have to live with the results.

I liked my first visit here for a pedicure. I was doing laundry up the street so I figured I’d waste time. I’m not really good with walking in to a random spot I figured I’d give it a shot… besides a pedicure isn’t really a doomed duty anyway.
My tech was awesome and through. My were looking crazy Before I walked up in there! And thank the lord she put me on something new. She wrapped my feet in this plastic wrap with this gel and soon my feet felt so smooth! It was like walking on clouds! Lol
She did a good paint job. I made sure I studied her face because when I come back I want to go thorough her! Very pleased.

Definitely over priced. I spent $ 65 on a poorly done pedicure/​gel manicure. During the manicure my cuticles were not removed and the polish started half way down my nail because of it. It was uneven and I ended up refiling my nails at home. My toe polish peeled off the next day and I had to repolish that at home as well. The salon itself is clean and has a nice setup. However, service was not worth the price. I couldn’t even relax completely since my technician was on her self phone the entire time. Not returning.

Very pleased with my mani/​pedi at soho nails, especially the pedicure. There was lots of attention given to scrubbing, exfoliation, and lotion massage. There was even a hot stone massage! The manicure was standard– I did not soak my nails before she started, though, which I thought was weird. It seemed to make it harder to work with my cuticles. The polish I brought was sheer, so the woman did an extra coat for me. I received a nice shoulder massage while drying my nails as well. I will be back to Soho! I liked it better than Luxi– I feel rushed there.

I love this place. The people are always nice and I get a great manicure. Whether I get a gel mani or a regular mani, it’s always good. The prices are fair, the place is clean and I highly recommend Soho to someone looking for a new place for a great manicure.

I still stand by my «drying station» is awesome because it’s in the window for people watching.
Even after a year of going here, I still love it. I’m super sad to be moving away in the summer because I finally found a place that does my shellac manicure perfectly. They know that I love my nails short and they do it so nicely. The interior is still lovely and clean, it is the best of the nail salons I have seen in Highland Park. There are tons of colors to choose from, I usually only do a shellac except on pedicures.
I think the price is reasonable and the staff is friendly. They do a good job and I’ve always been happy with their service. My favorite part is still the loyalty card. Even if you don’t have it with you (I lost mine months ago) they can look you up and put your points on it. I think it’s a win for w loyalty card! I also love the lotion, I know it seems minimal but the Codi lotion smells so good; I even buy the bottle for home– that’s how awesome I think it is.

I love the interior of Soho Nails. It’s very chic and clean. The staff is super nice and they did a great job with my gel manicure. Definitely the place to get your nails done in Highland park. It’s a great distance from Rutgers as well. Highly recommend!

Yikes, not pleased at all with my second trip to Soho Nails. I came in for a gel mani and pedi around noon. It wasn’t busy and I was quickly helped. The pedicure was going well when my technician switched with another. (This was awkward because I did not plan on doing two tips but really the work was almost split ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ between them.) The second nail tech did not attend to my cuticles at all. She filed and cut my nails well, but I wasn’t thrilled with the paint job. The berry hue I chose definitely could have used three coats; with only two, I see patchiness and it just isn’t as rich as I wanted the color to be. I felt a little rushed by the end despite the fact that the salon was still relatively vacant. My nail tech wrapped my feet in Saran wrap and sent me on my way. When I got home and removed the plastic, my big toe nails had big ugly smudges. I showered and did some housework and now my pointer finger gel has chipped. After less than a day… I am not one of those people who gets any kind of chips in her nails; most gel manis last 2 – 3 weeks on me no problem. So for $ 55, I can’t say this was a satisfactory experience. I will probably stick with Luxi from now on.

I’ve gotten my nails done here twice, I got pink and white acrylics that were about $ 40. The first time I got mine done, I had no problems and they looked beautiful. The second time, my nails still looked beautiful but the lady cut my finger while doing my cuticles and it bled for an hour and my nail technician shrugged and just said sorry in a rude way. I might come back here again but I might not

As far as options go for the immediate New Brunswick area, this is one of the better options. However, the quality of pedicures is inconsistent. I have been here 4 times. 1 great experience, 2 good, 1 awful.
My cuticles always need attention. Last time I was here (awful experience) the tech began applying the base layer before trimming the cuticles. When I asked her about it, she swatted my hands away and told me to be patient… She would get to the cuticles. She proceeded to do the worst polish application ever. One of the toes was so bad, I had her redo it. I left and vowed not to come back.
Today, I was in a pinch and returned with apprehension. I made sure to get a different tech who did a good job.
I’ll likely be back, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

I have never gotten a worse manicure. It was my second time returning to the salon and my first time there was excellent. I had a different manicurist, and arrived right before 6 knowing they close at 7. I asked if they had enough time they said yes. The woman I had was a different lady than my first time. she was awful and rushed right through my appointment. The nail polish is uneven and think. She barely cut my cuticles and actually pretended to do so instead of actually cutting them. For $ 30 I expected way more. Will not be recommending or returning

Got a manicure 2 weeks ago and surprisingly still looking pretty good. The ladies here are very nice and do a great job! Going back for a mani-​pedi soon :) Thanks Soho nails!

ok, so I got my nails done a week ago… after examining each one, I noticed that the OWNER did not apply the gel fully to each and every nail. Needless to say, after one day, 3 of my nails have broken. Too bad work has not allowed me to return in hopes of getting them fixed ;(Needless to say, I will never return and am still pissed about how much money I spent on such a shitty job… that was done by the owner ! ugh.

Today was my first visit and I was quite pleased with my gel manicure… I will return for a spa pedicure

Went here recently for a gel manicure. It’s clean, nails turned out ok, but for $ 30 I didn’t feel like it was worth it. I was passed in between to ladies while they were working on other people which I didn’t like. Not the best place I have been, but not the worst.

When it comes to mani/​pedi they are great ! I have acrylic nails and the first time I went I was a walk in they gave me the best service, super friendly nails were gorgeous good pricing while my nails were drying they gave me a massage a lot of gel color variety. The second time I went it was a different girl, very inexperienced I felt like she was learning with me, she was doing something so weird to just give me a fill in. The nails were horrible without nail polish but I ignored it since I was going to fully paint them and it wasn’t going to be noticeable, I loved the color but it was gel and it started chapping, I was very unhappy with the job.

Yay! I’ve been here a few times — this is my best friend and I’s go to nail salon in the New Brunswick area. The ladies are very friendly and patient, and they do a wonderful job making my nasty toes look beautiful! I came here recently as a walk-​in and they took their time exfoliating, massaging (even with a hot stone), etc. Their massage chairs are clean, comfortable, and lovely. My nails were neatly trimmed and painted as well. Not too bad for $ 25! I recommend coming on a weekday, when it’s not too crowded.

I love getting my mani/​pedi done from here! Make sure u remind them to do ur hot stone massage when getting ur pedi. Last time i didnt get it.
