Overall this is a great dealership and they are willing to go to work for you. I just got a new, beautiful truck lease from this dealer and they got me out of my current lease 7 payments early!
It took about a week and a half to finalize this deal and actually get into the new vehicle which was a little frustrating but I also understood since they had to trade for it plus change tires and rims (that I personally got to pick out!) since the ones on the truck were wrong for the trim level. I was ecstatic when I finally saw my new ride but I do have a few disappointments with the deal.
One, the excess wear and tear package I optioned for was an extra $ 18/​month. I have black chrome rims and tires that for some reason probably won’t make it 39 months or so I was told so you kind of have to get it. Why do they put tires on that don’t last past 45k miles? Seems cheap but that’s a GM thing I guess.
Two, I had to put in all the rubber caps in the dropped in plastic bedliner with my sales guy when I got the truck. Why not get the spray liner? Better protection and not so cheap.
Three, no all weather mats included. Why not? I have to go buy them now? I test drove a 2016 Silverado for two days and they had the all weather mats bagged in the rear cab. This one? Nope!
Minor scratches were already on the hood as well the night I got home. Looked like a quick buff job but still kinda sucked.
All in all it was an agreeable deal for me but these minor things made it just less than stellar. I still love my truck and the custom wheels I got to pick out which is so sweet! I’m quite happy and would recommend this dealer to anyone!

From the moment I walked in the door, I knew it was going to be a great experience. I have nothing but positive things to say about LaFontaine, as well as everyone I worked/​came in contact with: Klint, Ron, David and Kelli. Everyone was kind and personable — I felt like they truly cared about me. The entire car buying experience at LaFontaine was exactly how buying a car should be — fast, easy, fun! They say you find the true spirit of an automobile dealership when your service issues begin. I have found consistency in LaFontaine’s approach to customer service. Because this dealership is so large, you can feel lost when you arrive for service. You usually don’t get the same technician to handle your service check-​in and they all seem to be so busy you have to remind them you are there waiting! That’s where the ability to escalate to competent management is priceless. Scott Hall, regional service manager, responded to my concerns regarding a recent service. Had he not intervened this could have been a very bad situation. Thank you Scott for handling in a superior, professional manner.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at LaFontaine Cadillac and enthusiastically recommend this dealership to others. The dealership was recommended to me by a colleague after I told them of a rather «pushy» experience I had at a different dealership. The point-​person I was referred to was John Foglio. He was great. I gave him a call, he returned it right away, and we set up a time for me to come out to the dealership. Once there, I was immediately greeted by John and he introduced me to Kenn Elliot in Sales. Kenn worked with me, showing me all of the different cars, exteriors, interiors, etc. that I was interested in. He was open, honest, informative, friendly, patient, and not pushy at all. They didn’t have the exact vehicle I wanted in stock, so I didn’t drive it off the lot that day, but just a few days later, they got the car from a different dealership and Kenn delivered it right to my home after I got home from work, where we finished all of the remaining paperwork in my house. Then, Kenn sat with me in my new SRX, explaining all of the different features and setting up my OnStar and Bluetooth. A nice little touch was the red rose he put for me on the dash (and the hug from Kenn before he left). I feel like I got a really good deal on the car and that I was treated with a lot of respect and care. Being a young woman at a car dealership, it can be easy to feel intimidated by everything you don’t know, but that was not an issue at all at LaFontaine. My experience there was well worth the 1 hour+ drive, and I will continue to work with them in the future, without hesitation. This dealership and the people who work there represent the Cadillac brand exactly the way it should be — class, luxury, and exceptionalism. I will be a lifetime customer; the brand, the car, and the people have won my heart, mind, and my wallet. :)

This place is always booked solid with appointments. My last oil change I tried to schedule was not available for a week. A bit of an inconvenience since I don’t plan ahead. The service dept can be hit & miss. A lot of the time there are 5 guys ‘working’ and nobody to help you when you roll up. Sometimes find myself waiting a while for acknowledgment. The service itself is not bad, can usually get out of there in 45 mins. They have gorgeous women working at their store and coffee counter so, it’s a nice distraction. Free coffee is always a plus too! I only come here because it is close and cheap, otherwise, I’d go to a private place.

I leased a vehicle from the Highland Location. I worked with De’Anna Bloom. It’s too bad that after my survey was turned in she could’ve cared less about me or issues I had with my 30 day old vehicle.
I like the ‘extras’ that are available to customers (coffee, boutique shopping and nail salon). They gave me the best price on my trade in.
I LOVE my Buick but not loving the service I received at my family deal-​er :P

For the second time in a row I needed to return to service to have a problem caused by LaFontain corrected. Kevin Bright in service has been wonderful in correcting the problems but attention to detail seems to be lacking at the technician level. First issue, leaking oil after an oil change (now I have a huge oil stain on my garage floor). This recent visit the tire monitoring system wasn’t programmed correctly. Finding time to get into the dealership for service is tough enough, having to find time to return is a real pain.

I have a lease with the nice folks at La Fontaine. Like every vehicle they need repairs and service. I took my Lease car to La Fontaine for some repairs to the back up camera. I was given replacement car while the service were being done on mine. I got a call form one of the customer service rep to see how I like my visit. I told her that I have some issue still on the car and Jennifer set me up with an appointment on the spot. No company is perfect but it how well the company deals with the issues that make the differences. Good job good follow up. They made the car right all is well.

First of all. John Lusk and his scum bag boss. this is for you guys. you should both be fired.
Avoid at all costs. I called this morning at 9:01 a. m… one minute after the dealership opened.
I called in regards to a vehicle i saw online and drove over a half hour after work to see it … after setting an appointment with john to see it at a specific time. 6:30 pm!
I show up and he is busy with people, thats fine. i get it. but after driving a different vehicle. without john, and coming back after well over an hour after our «appt» we are given the run around saying the vehicle we came to see was taken to another dealership location which he will not tell us where it is, because he wants the sale and commission. regardless of wasting over two hours of my time… we finally get his boss to tell us where the hell the vehicle was and drove there to finally see it and not get screwed around with.
This is the worst experience I have ever encountered with slimebag sales people and slimebag management.
The ann arbor location for the record was awesome and did whatever needed to rectify the horrible name that the highland location gave the dealership as a whole.
Avoid this dealership and the terrible used sales guys as a whole. if you see a vehicle here that you are interested in. call ann arbor and have them get you the vehicle.
