Meet the Business Owner

Alan T.

Business Owner

Alan Tanabe was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. He spent a good many years honing his basketball talents and significantly contributing to teams including Hilo High School Vikings, University of Hawaii at Hilo Vulcans, and finally at Hawaii Pacific College. He came back home where he worked in sales and marketing. He retired from his sales career to care for elderly family members. He made their last days comfortable and made them feel cherished. Now, Alan tends the cottage and guests with the same focus and attention to detail that he applied to his other endeavors.
