I should give this place no stars, one Sunday my boyfriend and I went in to just look around and we weren’t dressed to impress what’s so ever, it’s Sunday everyone wears sweatpants. And Noone approached us or even asked if they could help, I then asked a women for a fitting room to try something on and she completly ignored me! They were so ignorant. I went to the counter to pay and the manager asked«did anyone help you today«and I said no actually no one did and left the store with almost 200 $ worth of clothes. Don’t ever put your self in someone else’s wallet you never know

I love J Crew! I came here to buy a suit and lay down some serious cash. Could not get service! I know from my other personal J Crew shopper that they work on commission. I understand that. But over an hour and a ½? to buy stuff I was pulling off racks? Really? Salesperson was so interested in what other customers were doing she kept dropping me and running to other customers. When her co workers realized it was her sale they were no longer interested in helping. Very very poor service at this location. Disappointed as I love J Crew. I have made appointments at Burlington and Braintree with personal shoppers and service there was excellent. Please note store was NOT overly busy and fully staffed.(my poor mom had to leave, she couldnt take it anymore).

Employees are friendly and helpful, however it is obvious they recognize a fashionista from a window shopper. the sale rack is INCREDIBLE, so much better then the south shore plaza location. The derby street shoppes are generally a pleasent experience and this is no different.

I have *much* better luck at this J Crew than the one in the South Shore plaza. I agree– the jewelry selection is lacking a bit, but it’s a big store and for some reason I tend to find things a lot easier @ this location. I also picked up a pair of cords for $ 16 last year on clearance– you can’t beat that!
