History

Established in 2013.

After almost 10 years in the beauty industry; A New Leaf’s stylist manager Jami LaBreck decided it was time for her to venture on to new sights. After having lunch with Jami’s long time client and friend Jill Gannett in early 2012 they decided they should open the areas first high end salon and spa. Steering away from the typical salon experience and focusing on an idea of a true oasis and getaway. Jill had been a part of a thriving landscaping business for many years teaching her the ins and outs of running a proper business. After retiring from that position it was time for her to turn a new leaf. Jill then knew her daughter-​in-​law Chara Gannett would be a perfect fit to run and manage the financial aspects of the business. With a bachelors in Finance and economics from the University of Southern Maine and many years of work in the hospitality industry, Chara was the last piece to the puzzle.

Jill grew up in Hollis center and remembers a main street full of life and beauty.

Manager

Jami has had a passion for the hair and beauty industry for most of her adult life. She places high value on listening to her clients, understanding their needs and respecting their hair, as she strives for unlimited creativity. Being licensed for over 8 years, Jami also understands how important continued education is to the success of her career, so she continues her education on a regular basis to offer the best possible service to her clientele.

Jami’s experience has led her to master a wide range of new hair techniques, but her specialty and passion lies within cutting edge coloring techniques, foil highlight and lowlights, grey coverage, modern cuts, razor cuts, and special occasion up dressing.
