This is the worst Thai food I have eaten. They must think the clients are really stupid Americans! The red curry was watery, horrible, the base of all the red curry dishes is same, they only add your choice of shrimps, beef, chicken, what ever you might order into this watery pot… I chose pork, the cook throws in the frozen pieces of pork without even braising it… I would not use such a cook even in the Iraqi army! If you want good food go to nearby Saki, or Siamrice, I will not cross the entrance again, for what they serve, they are very very over priced, very low quality food. There are no negative stars, so I am compelled to give them one star, they deserve MINUS10 stars. HORRRRRRRIBBBBLE.

Come and should try their Kao Sai noodle(yellow curry chicken crispy noodles)! Won’t let you down. The chicken tender was very soft and yummy! Don’t mention the creamy soup

I just moved into the neighborhood and found this in the plaza by my house. The menu is impressive, a lot of options, clear beautiful representations of what you will be getting which makes trying new things much easier. Food is wonderful and presented with care and attention to detail, which I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate. Service is fine, quick and to the point. One thing I can definitely appreciate about a restaurant is when they care about the food and as first impressions go, Nakorn Roll and Bowl do.

Very confused over the better Unilocal reviews with this place. The waitress is clueless and definitely very inexperienced, the food is underwhelming in a land of great Sushi places. This place is next to some of the better Hollywood Sushi houses and is not even close to the quality of every other restaurant in the area but higher priced. We asked for Tea and was brought water, we ordered and appetizer that was brought out with the entrée. Empty seats and bad smell should be the first sign that we should have run. There is no reason to come here, the parking lot is crowded, the service sucks and the sushi was less than fair. I always find it interesting when they charge you for a pot of tea for each person at the table but only bring one pot. So that same pot of tea is $ 2.50 for one but $ 10 for 4, in Florida we call this price gauging and is illegal but here they call it dumb round eye charge. If you do not value your money and like flavorless food this may be the place for you. You would think these people have never owned or been in the service industry.

For the price, the sushi is not that great. I ordered the Three Amigos roll and a spicy tuna roll to go and was not impressed. It’s really pricey for mediocre sushi.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. Most of the sushi restaurants in this area are disappointing and I was hesitant to try another. I had passed by Nakorn Roll & Bowl many times even before they completed construction, and wanted to see the final results. The interior is sleek and clean with comfortable seating and ample distance between the tables. The service is attentive and courteous. I tried the lunch special: 2 sushi rolls(spicy tuna and avocado) with a salad. The salad was crisp and the ginger dressing was tasty. The rolls were fresh too and the spicy tuna roll had the spicy sauce on the side for dipping.(I prefer this, as I know the tuna inside the roll is fresh too) I also tried the steamed shrimp shumai. They were hot fresh, and served in a tasty sauce. For dessert I was served a complimentary mini donut. It was hot, and soft. A delightful end to a very pleasant meal. The prices are average, the quality is very good. Now that I have finally found a decent sushi restaurant in this area, I will be back.

So yummy! Everything I’ve ordered here has been great. I’m so thankful they’ve opened a delicious Asian place in west Hollywood. I eat at Nakorn at least once a week now.

So I tried this place today because it had good ratings and its so close from home. I DONOTREGRETIT! I think the place is fairly new; it has a good variety of food and its extremely flavorful! Its also super clean and chill. The waitress took very good care of us, without being overbearing. They were also very friendly and accommodating. I ordered from the main menu, but I saw their very well priced lunch specials, 7 days a week, from 11am-3pm! We started out with the Salmon Rolls. They were tasteful and not too greasy. Just perfect. I tried the French Roll and it was really good. My boyfriend ordered the Dragon Roll and it was also amazing. The portions and prices were competitive too! We also ordered Jepchae(I think that’s how you write it) and it was SOGOOD!!! Just when we thought this place couldn’t get any better, the gave us complimentary dessert: Thai Donuts! Any place that takes care of their customers like that has a 5 star rating in my book! Give this place a try! You WILLNOT regret it!!! This will become a regular place for me.

The prices are kind of high for other Asian restaurants with better food quality. The miso soup isn’t the best, it was lacking scallions and taste overall. I got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl with brown rice and«veggies». By «veggies» they mean two stems of broccoli and four small pieces of cut carrots. The food tasted like they bought the sauce from the publix next door already pre made. The scene and the restaurant itself was very nice, liked the decoration but it was a misleading welcoming environment for such a let down. Definitely won’t be coming here again, not worth the $ 15 before tip per person.

Restaurant looks clean and nice! You can tell its new, the servers were friendly and nice. I ordered the hamachi hand roll, it was just ok, I couldn’t say it tasted fresh. I Also had the duck soup, Flavor was good– I did have to add some soy sauce for seasoning. It was pretty bland, I wish there had been either more herbs/some lime/or some kind of vegetable in addition. I think it’s way over priced for what you get, they charged me extra to switch from regular noodles to udon noddles, and basically it was a bowl of hot broth with udon noodles and a couple slices of the duck. It was fine, I don’t know about a hidden gem, don’t think I will go out of my way to come back here anytime soon.

I was really excited to see a ramen place open up close to my home, so I couldn’t wait to try this place. The restaurant is located in the Sheridan Plaza by the Publix. Inside the restaurant the décor has all been remodel and is very clean and modern. They have flat screen TVs, tables, booths, and even a sushi bar. This place serves both thai food and sushi. We came for lunch and I ordered chicken pad thai. It came with a soup or salad. I got soup and was please when a bowl of miso was brought out. My fiancé ordered the duck ramen. He is a ramen fanatic. The pad thai was good, nice white mean chicken. A little dry for my liking, but the kicker was the missing crushed peanuts and lime. Even a small wedge could have gone a long way. As for the Ramen, my fiancé liked the noodles and said they were the right consistency but felt that its flavor only played to one note. He asked for hoisin to add. They didn’t have any, but they brought over a dish with different spices to add. After making the broth spicy, he enjoyed it a lot more and finished the whole bowl. The actual ramen bowl only had the duck and noodles in it. We are used to ramen with more action in the bowl… egg, mushroom, nori, etc. We cleared our plates and were full. The prices are fair and the menu has a large variety, however this place lacks the authenticity of a real ramen joint or thai restaurant. We didn’t have any sushi while we were there but we are willing to come back and try some other menu items out. This is a good place to take someone who is new to asian cuisine or likes their food on the plainer side.

Discovered Nakron a few weeks ago while driving through the shopping center. Today, I wasn’t feeling my packed lunch so decided to stop in. First impressions: staff is very friendly and attentive. Décor is on the modern/trendy side. The food: I was pleasantly surprised. Portions are on the larger side and the noodles I ordered(Khao Soi) were super flavorful. The braised chicken fell right off the bone and was full of flavor as well. My only gripe, which isn’t a big deal, is that the noodles themselves are not«homemade». I haven’t found any local noodle spots that make their own noddles, so I wasn’t really expecting that. That being said, the dish itself was very tasty. The Salmon Skin Hand Roll was fresh, with both the salmon skin and nori crispy. Overall: I will definitely come back for more! Although I ordered from their regular menu they do have inexpensive lunch options. Can’t wait for more noodles!

I was excited to see that Nakorn had expanded and opened a second location. Despite the first location being pretty close to me, I’d never stopped by, but since this new location is even closer, and located in a plaza I frequent anyways it seemed a dinner was necessary. They do have their expansive menu online so take a look at that before heading in. I tend to stay away from places that do both sushi and thai, but made an exception for Nakorn because they do have some hard to find(in South Florida) traditional Japanese dishes such as Japanese Curry and some of their noodle soup dishes(these are not phở!)! I’d give Nakorn a solid 3.75 but will round up to 4 because, again, a lot of these dishes are hard to find else where, the place itself is immaculate and service was very good. First impression was very positive when walking in. You can tell they didn’t cheap out when redecorating this space and they definitely purchased all new furniture. Behind the sushi bar you’ll see a large screen tv that displays many of their menu items(keep showing me delicious food and I’ll definitely order more lol). Our server came over and took our orders immediately, and entered it all into her tablet, so again, no expense was wasted here. She also brought over a complimentary piece of sushi for each of us! Give me free food and you have a loyal customer LOL. I opted to start with a small salad with peanut dressing(dressing was solid) and then try one of their noodle bowls. I was tempted to get the duck, but ultimately my love of Udon noodles won out and I went with the Udon noodles in Shoyu broth with tempura shrimp. Great dish with just the right amount of food so I felt satisfied and not overly stuffed! Shoyu was perhaps a tad salty for me, but I’m guessing that’s probably the way it’s supposed to be. My father felt his Red Curry was perhaps a smaller portion than he would get elsewhere, but again, this is probably helpful for those watching their New Years diet. He did feel as though they nailed his request for«thai hot». My step mother tried the teriyaki fish and added some sriracha to get the flavor just right for her. I tried a bite and LOVED it. Great sauce and great moist, yet flaky, fish! Overall this was a great experience. When it comes to sushi and thai in the area I already have my two favorite locations, but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here to get those hard to find noodle soup dishes!

Just discovered this newly opened Japanese/Thai restaurant. Seeing a friends review pushed my girlfriend and I to try it out. Immediately your greeted by modern new decorations and furnishings. It also smells good in here! The menu is large and very well put together with pictures. We had the spider roll which was exceptionally fresh and crispy. The noodle bowls were our choice tonight. I had the crispy duck and my significant other had the Tom Yum. Both were fresh and delicious.

I’ve been here twice and both times were excellent! A local favorite here in Hollywood. They have really great lunch specials! Entrée with option of a soup or salad for under $ 10, you really can’t beat that especially for quality food! I’m a sucker for Thai Curry and they do not disappoint! Very good portions and good ratio of rice to meat. What I love about it, is the thickness of the sauce and it’s full of flavor. Can I bottle it an take it home so I can attempt to recreate my dish all the time? I hope to try the sushi next time as the reviews are good for that as well!
