Sooooooo disappointed!!! Today we celebrate the birthday of my 2 Y old daughter and all my friends always said that the bakery in Publix is the best way to go. I ordered ONE WEEK AGO empanadas and the cake. Because some of the guest by religion are vegans, ¹⁄₃ of the empanadas was of spinach. Today, 1 ½ hour before to the pick up they call me to say they don’t have spinach empanadas, just to let me know and asking if I want to fill the order with Oder kind and I don’t hear along the whole conversation any kind of apology even after I explain the situation.
Also when I pick up the order, the cake was done in a different color that I request.
Not a very nice experience at all!!! Don’t you suppose to order with time to let them plan their supplies? It seems things work differently or don’t work at all in Publix regarding delivery to the customer

This is really one of the best supermarkets. Everyone is friendly and attentive. This store has everything along with great management. I always find everything that I need and feel great about being in that shopping center. I sometimes wait a bit more so I can purchase everything I need there. There are also a lot of Bogos, buy one get one free and is really very coupon friendly. This is one of my favorite places to shop.

Located in the Sheridan Plaza, this Publix is large with clean, organized aisles. There’s also a small seating area by the deli where you can sit and relax or eat a quick lunch such Publix’s freshly made hot or cold subs, wraps, flatbread pizza’s, and hot cooked chicken or mojo pork meals.
The bakery department, next to the deli, is quite large. With a variety of breads, cakes, pies, cookies, etc. it’s hard to walk by and not choose something. The cashier who tended to me was friendly. Other than that, there’s nothing more to say… it’s a typical Publix supermarket.
I only come here if I’m in the mood for a Publix sandwich after I’m done with class. Though they no longer have the Cuban sandwich on the menu, the associate would still make it for me when I request it. I like to add a personalized twist to the Cuban sandwich by adding honey mustard, provolone cheese, lettuce, banana peppers, and black olives… yum!

All I can say is that Publix is my place to go to get what I need. I will drive past Winn Dixie, Walmart, and Walgreens to get to Publix. Shopping is a pleasure whenever I go, the customer service is great!!! I use to work for Publix 20 years ago, and wish I stayed part time. I will continue to shop here as long as one is within reach.

Second best place to get a sub in Florida absolutely hands-​down las spadas is number one but this place Publix makes a mean sub

Came to get chocolate chip cookies for my daughters 3^rd grade class. I looked everywhere in the publix bakery… none! I asked the lady at the counter she said SORRY… We only have what is out. Which was only oatmeal raisin. Unbelievable!!!
Roberto Melendez. The Bakery Manager noticed I was in distress. He asked me. What I needed. Told him chocolate chip cookies for my daughters class. He alerted his staff to bake the cookies! He came back out and said they would be fresh out of the oven in ten minutes!
That is customer service! Roberto you get a 100% from this Mom, and all 18 kids in Mrs. Pufals class are gonna love you!

I would be a fan if they got rid of the live lobster tanks! Lots of variety, clean and lots of healthy food options.

This is a great Publix the staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. I really love how the managers are really personable and even remember customers names. I like to see that employees are happy because that says a lot about a business.

The sandwiches are the best you’ll ever eat.
Get Turkey and cheese. Also the selection of meat and produce is fantastic.
Very healthy options and very fresh.
The staff is fantastic and the market is super clean. When I’m in ft Lauderdale I go there for everything I need.

The Pharmacy said give them a hour and I did some shopping in the plaza 2 hours later they still didn’t fill it so I had to sit and wait with my melting ice cream … it’s just not excusable

One of the largest Publix’s I’ve been to and seemed very clean and organized. They even have a liquor store, which I don’t recall ever seeing in any other Publix.
Parking can be a pain, just because it’s always so packed, so expect to park a little far and walk.
Even though there were a lot of people they have several lanes for checkout and also for 10 items or less and it moved quickly. Our checkout lady was nice and we were in and out in like 5 – 10 mins (we were just buying some bags of ice for a party).

Best Publix store I’ve been to as far as quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Always pretty much staffed enough. Not too long of waits.

Great Publix store! I was just here to pick up some things; albeit maybe not the best idea to come on the afternoon of Super Bowl Sunday (it was crowded), but they are well-​stocked and generally clean. They have a good selection of kosher items, too. Decent parking can be tough to find though.

Whenever I am in need of specialty items, like kosher meat, I make my way to this location. I usually avoid coming here because it gets extremely busy especially after 4. At that time parking is scarce, the ailes are crowded, and taking a number at the deli counter is serious business. It also takes forever to check out no matter if all registers are open. They do have a lunch area where you can take your sandwich and coffee and relax. I try to go early in the morning.

Best public ever had the full selection that I needed the ladies in the deli were very fast and very helpful I bought a sub to eat and they were there to help and make the subs quickly and the bakery is just amazing best backed goods in the area everything is fresh and ready to eat absolutely amazing

I cannot believe this Publix is just miles from the Young Circle store. When you walk into this Publix, you feel like you are somewhere very far north of PGA Boulevard.

Please change how you display/​stock the lettuce. Since the change to the current style on that wall, 95% of the time it is all wilted and simply not edible. It’s a shame I need to go somewhere else than my neighborhood store just for that.

well well well. publix how i like thee. i have been to quite a few publix and never leave dissatisfied. as someone said in their review that publix is generic. yes in its quality customer service. did i mention this is a ginormous store and its still great to shop there. if i was a five star giver i would give it…

Huge — has pretty much all you need. Still very generic. I’d rather hit up a speciality market and fork over the dough for fresh meats and seafood. Otherwise, this location meets all basic needs for food, HBA and then some.

I realize I’m reviewing a chain supermarket but just indulge my South Floridian nostalgia for a moment.
Now, for those of you who know me personally, which is many of you at this point, you know I am not the biggest fan of South Florida. But, there are some areas in which South Florida just cannot be beat. Beaches and chain grocery stores are the two that come to mind. The beaches in South Florida have spoiled me forever. No beach compares in my mind to Hollywood beach and no supermarket compares to my childhood Publix. So, I’m Unilocaling about my favorite chain grocery store of all. The Publix on Sheridan and 56^th Ave.
This is the Publix I grew up going to. Sure, there were closer ones because there are more of these than one knows what to do with but this one was the best. And they were open really early and really late and for some reason we were always going to the grocery store at odd hours. And while this Publix was great when I was growing up, it is simply fantastic now.
First of all, it’s huge. It has everything you’ve ever wanted. Things that I wouldn’t have thought would have caught on in South Florida like organic items or healthy products are now well stocked in this Publix. It is clean. Super clean. I have lived near some smelly, sticky, gross supermarkets and Publix is just a gleaming mecca of a grocery store. The produce always seems the freshest to me in South Florida and this Publix is the freshest of all. They have a fantastic bakery and deli and their ready made food is really good, too.
Honestly, I’m just happy strolling around this Publix and went simply for nostalgia’s sake and enjoyment while I was there last week. I know, I know — this truly is evidence of there being very little to do in Hollywood, FL for entertainment.
This Publix has spoiled me. As far as regular chain supermarkets go, this is the Hollywood Beach of supermarkets! So, go ahead, make fun. Call it «Pubics» as you laugh as though nobody else has ever made *that* joke. I’ll be laughing all the way to the deliciously fresh and enormous produce section in the northwest corner of the store!
