Great food for a great price! This is the only Chinese Restaurant I ever order from. The entrée’s are large enough for two people. The food has an excellent fresh taste. Rice does not taste like it has been re-heated over again. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend Eat Rice.

I have been here numerous time for take out and the food is always fresh and well packaged. I was here last week for a sit-down dinner and the food was great but the attitude of the waitress was not pleasant. The restaurant is always clean and a little busy. The Mongolian Beef was great as was the orange chicken. The fried rice is not the best.

We eat in and carry out food from here monthly. This place has been a gem since it opened. Service has always been great and the food is excellent. Ignore the bashers and reviewers who don’t know wonderful Chinese when they get it. Go and Eat Rice.

I love this restaurant! I love it so much that I go every week. My favorite meal is on the dinner combo menu. I get C14, Beef and Broccoli with rice and an egg roll. I recommend getting vegetable fried rice with the meal instead of pork fried rice. The vegetable fried rice compliments the already delicious flavor of the sauce that goes with the beef and broccoli. The egg rolls are the best in town! My husband loves the orange chicken and highly recommends that one too. The price is definitely right for the combo meals. You can’t beat the price! I went there a couple of weeks ago and it was super crowded and busy. My preschool age daughter was hungry and getting frustrated. I could not say enough nice things about how wonderful Elizabeth(I think that’s her name) was with my daughter. She gave her cookies while we were waiting and was so sweet to my daughter. I could tell all the employees were working extremely hard to make sure all the orders were correct and out on time. The employees are always working hard and courteous. I love Eat Rice and I highly recommend eating there. I also would like everyone to leave a tip. The employees work really hard and always go out of their way to make the customer happy. We should always tip food staff because they work long hours, are on their feet all day, and put up with a lot from other customers. They deserve tips.

Zero stars. Disappointed in their service. Waitress acted upset because we weren’t ready to order when she wanted us to, on a Sunday afternoon, with only 2 other tables occupied. And then when our food wasn’t what we expected, no compromise, only that we didn’t ask for more information about the dish itself, and that everyone else is satisfied. Typically Chinese reaction, and I’m Asian. Zero customer service. No attempt to appease a dissatisfied customer in any way. And the food? Below average for neighbourhood takeout/dine-in.

I give this restaurant 0 stars!!! Only gave it 1 star because it’s required by Unilocal! The service is terrible. When we arrived I noticed a sign on the door advertising their own homemade green tea. We decided to dine in. The server came to our table asking for our order as if she’s in a rush and immediately displayed a nasty disposition. I asked for a hot cup of their home made green tea and was told I could only have it cold or iced. To make a long story short when my food arrived it wasn’t what I thought I ordered. My beef was breaded and I didn’t expect breaded beef and it wasn’t indicated on the menu that it is breaded. I told the waitress who initially ignored me. The manager came over and said,“there’s nothing wrong with our food. You need to ask questions if you don’t understand Chinese food restaurants”. Well, I never said there was something wrong with the dish. I simply said I wasn’t expecting breaded beef; especially if it wasn’t indicated on the menu. They were extremely rude and refused to take the charge off of our bill or offered to replace the dish with something else. Never once was I asked, «How could I accommodate you». Even a simple, «I’m sorry» would have been nice… My boyfriend who is also Asian didn’t appreciate our service either… Shame on you Eat Rice!!!

Pretty solid Chinese takeout. Orange chicken is the standout. Avoid the healthy options if you’re fussy about how your chicken looks or tastes. It’s not super appetizing — but I’m sure it’s healthier!

This place gives Chi Tung a run for their money. The orange chicken was amazing, the pineapple chicken was very good, the beef and broccoli was tasty, the egg rolls and spring rolls were good, and the crab rangon was amazing. Drink selection could be better. One of the best Chinese places I have eaten at.

I really tried to like Eat Rice since it’s a local establishment and easy to get too. The restaurant is very cozy, cute, and clean. I’ve actually eaten here about 10 times and the food is reasonably priced. But honestly, the food quality is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s decent… Well all food tastes decent when you’re hungry. And sometimes the food is nasty as ever. Well last night was officially the last time I will eat there. The food was flavorless!!! The Crab Ragoons were very tiny, dried out, and they tasted old. The Egg Foo young patties were loose and runny, greasy; skimpy on the ingredients, only 2 shrimps per patty, and it was just basically a scrambled egg! The rice was overcooked and sticky. The egg rolls were small, dried out, flavorless, and dry. I couldn’t even identify what ingredients when in there. Then on top of that I got a tummy ache directly after eating it. The best part of the mean was the fortune cookie… Anyhow, I’ve learned my lesson. «NOMOEATRICE!!!»

This place is a hidden gem! They properly season each menu item and inquired if I wanted it made spicier. It is a BYOB restaurant, so bring in beer, wine /mixed drinks and get your Chinese on! Gotta try the Singapor Chinese Noodle and the Egg Foo Yung with a tub of Brown Gravy and White Rice. This place is super clean and a must for local Chinese fare!

The chicken wings have a good flavor to them. Idk what it is but they aren’t ordinary chicken wings. The food is a little expensive for my liking but it’s good! I will definitely be back!

It’s nice to be able to drink boba tea without having to drive to Chicago. Their food is okay… a bit pricey and I’m never full, but more the grease makes me nauseous. 4 stars from me because they’re nice, it’s clean, cool shirt you can buy and the boba tea is just so good with tapioca!

Carried out some dinner here last night. They were open on Christmas, which was great! But I was very underwhelmed by the food. We ordered a huge selection of different dishes, and nothing stood out to me. Most of the food was pretty bland and boring, and all of it looked the same(we actually had a hard time telling the dishes apart from one another). Nothing was bad, but nothing was very good either. There’s plenty of better options out there in my opinion.

First time here and I haven’t one bad thing to say. Employees are super nice and helpful! Food is delicious. An elderly man came in while I was eating and he had questions about a few items on the menu at the counter. They patiently answered any and all questions. The elderly man apologized and the employee said ‘not a problem, my pleasure’. They handled it perfectly. What a fantastic little gem!

Bland and boring but perhaps leaving the orders up to my Irish brother in law led us down that road once again… Chinese cuisine that left us with full bellys and no cravings for our leftovers. The best part of the order was the texture of the Lo Mein noodles and tasty tasty fortune cookies… the bland chewy beef with Chinese vegetables made me sleepy and searching for some salt. I just don’t get it… there are Billions of Chinese enjoying this food everyday but I just can’t get it right at these locals spots. I definitely need to head down to Chinatown someday soon for a little menu advice.
