Homewood Grille

I stop here about twice a month and really enjoy the cobb salad topped with jerk turkey. Also, I am a fan of the deep fried turkey wing. The wing does not need barbecue sauce because it has a good smoked flavor. The service here is good and they are quick. The prices are also reasonable.

So happy to find this place!!! Just moved to homewood and I’m surrounded by every fast food restaurant you can imagine. Nice to have a healthier option!
Oh yeah, the food is awesome too!

My fiancée loves turkey and works nearby this location. He has gone there several times for lunch and enjoys the turkey burger. We decided to get Just Turkey for lunch yesterday since I’ve never tried it. I ordered the small bbq turkey tips with fries and the turkey wrap unsure of what I’d like best. The bbq turkey tips were tough, fatty, and smothered in bbq sauce. It took forever to chew them enough to swallow. The fries were under the turkey tips so they were also smothered in bbq and soggy. Since I didn’t enjoy those, I tried to eat the turkey wrap. I picked it up and everything fell out. I put it all back together took a bite and couldn’t rip the turkey with my teeth. There was two chunks of turkey meat thrown in there that were super dry and tough. The rest of the ingredients in the wrap were edible. Overall I was not impressed at all.

This past Sunday I finally decided to try Just Turkey Restaurant because I pass it all the time. The cashier and was nice enough to give me a sample of their Turkey Tips. I am not a Tip person-​turkey or pork I don’t know why I’m just not but still it was really good. The sauce was awesome, so for my first time I decided to try a Turkey Polish with Fries and their mild sauce on top. To make a long story short the whole meal was very good, fresh and hot. I will be going back to try more so that I will be able to properly rate this place. But I recommend this place to Turkey Unilocalers and to people who want to try something different other than beef and pork. Go and see for yourself.
