Had a great experience at this salon with Kanani. She’s the owner and only stylist, so she’s all about giving her clients her full attention. Very clean and cute décor, and you have the whole place to yourself during your appointment. I came here with a Groupon (conditioning+cut+style), otherwise I wouldn’t be able to afford it. Very happy with my haircut and recommend this salon if it’s within your budget.

I bought a Groupon and saw Kanani for a haircut and deep conditioning yesterday. The salon is located upstairs from Fishers Hawaii on Fort St Mall, so super convenient in Chinatown! Kanani took me right on time and I had a great haircut she really listened and made adjustments based on my comments. I’ll be back!
PS Park in the municipal lot on Beretania or take the g-​d bus– parking is crap around here.

Love love love this place. First thing I thought when I walked into the shop was «wow». The salon was so beautiful and stylish. I didn’t even have to wait because its by appointment only. I was first going in for full set of highlights but after speaking to the stylist, she advised me she could do it if I really wanted to but told me what would happen to my hair in the long run. Rather then other salons not telling you the truth and you later on having to suffer with ugly damaged hair, she told me nothing but the truth and I’m so greatful for that. Hard to find an honest stylist. So I ended up just coloring my whole hair one color. It turned out perfect and healthy. Best part was the price. Super affordable. You all need to at least try to come here once. She does so many things. Makeup, Up Do’s, Coloring, & Style.
