Visited Moshe to design a ring for my girlfriend. He had an idea, and we decided to put our trust in him. It turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. If you need a ring made, YOU NEED TO GO SEE HIM. You will pay less, and get so much more than any of the local jewelry shops, not to mention you will get great service, from a great guy. I’m so glad we decided to see him.

I couldn’t be happier with the beautiful ring the hubs got here. Moshe is knowledgable, easy to work with, and very honest. He makes you feel comfortable, which is important when you’re making a huge purchase like an engagement ring. His prices are also very reasonable considering the quality of his work. About a year ago was the first time I stepped into the office after scheduling an appointment. (make sure to follow this first step as they do not take walk ins) The first thing I noticed after being greeted, was how clean and organized their office was. Bright floors, orchids, natural light, well dressed employees. Excellently represented, albeit small operation. Everything about it screamed quality over quantity; clearly I’m in the right place.
We started talking about a small gift for my girlfriend. After looking at a few items he had in stock, I settled on a pair of diamond stud earrings. Well below what I’d be able to find elsewhere. Likely better quality too! Needless to say, she was more than impressed and gets excited every time she sees them sparkle in the mirror.
Fast forward to December. I’m panicking about what to do this year. What should I get? Will she like it?
After seeing her so happy by my actions last year I decided to call Diamond Guy one more time to save the day. I thought that a promise ring would be the right next step at this point. I wasn’t satisfied with the other options my budget allowed, so I asked if it was possible to make something custom. We settled on a design that I knew she would love and got started.
It was a little nerve racking, but after seeing the end result, I couldn’t believe how he could have exceeded my expectations. The ring was flawless, elegant, timeless, and perfectly matching her. I don’t think I’ll let her drive the car for the next year, as she can’t stop staring at it!
I have no doubts that I will be returning soon and several more times for all my diamond needs. You’ve found a loyal customer for life!

My fiancée Christina & I met Moshe during my recent vacation to Hawaii in June of 2015. I had been following his profile on Instagram for a couple months before my trip and was really impressed with the styles of rings he made. We set up an appointment to design our engagement ring & matching wedding band. He was mindful of our budget and even tho we were hesitant initially to buy our ring so far away from Toronto, we trusted Moshe with our rings. Moshe was always very quick to answer our e-​mails. Moshe was professional throughout the whole process. He made payment easy for us despite us having issues with Paypal. When I finally received the rings and saw them in person for the first time, they turned out better than I could have imagined.

Moshe is a master when it comes to designing wedding and engagement rings! After shopping around at a few other retailers, we were losing faith that we would be able to find our «dream rings» at a reasonable price. I searched Unilocal and found The Diamond Guy. We met with Moshe and he helped us to design my dream engagement and wedding ring set at a price that was well within our budget! He really takes time to understand what your goals are in what you want the ring to showcase and represent. The quality of his diamonds and workmanship is perfection. Moshe is the best! With only a week and a half till my proposal date, I emailed Moshe asking if he could get me a unique ring in time for the big day. Moshe emailed me back immediately, met with me the same day, and I had the ring in my hands within a week. He gave me a few rings to look at that fit within my budget and criteria and we got a beautiful engagement ring that fits in the wedding band and looks stunning on my new fiancé’s finger. After my previous jeweler, whom we purchased my engagement ring and wedding set from, refused to build me a custom ring I was on a mission to find a jeweler that could design my dream ring. I went to one of the well-​known stores here in Honolulu, found 3 settings I liked. The sales person told me she would send me an email with all the pricing. NEVER received it!
One night I was looking on Instagram and found 808diamondguy. I fell in love with his work immediately. My husband and I took a leap of faith and had met with Moshe. He is the most patient and honest jeweler we’ve ever met. His prices are way below retailers out there. However, the quality of the diamonds and craftsmanship is in no way compromised.

My fiancé and I were looking for the perfect wedding set for us. We had previously purchased rings from a big chain jewelry retailer, but were not happy with them at all. We really wanted something that we would be proud to share with generations to come and something that was unique and made just for us. After stumbling across diamond guy Hawaii on Instagram and drooling over his amazing work for many months, my fiancé and I reached out to Moshe and his team for their help.
From our first meeting with Moshe to the time of picking up our finished rings from him, Moshe had been nothing but honest, professional, and passionate about what he does. You can see that he takes so much pride in his quality and really takes the time to ensure you’ll fall in love with the pieces he creates for you. Plus, his price is so reasonable! My fiancé and I came in with our budget and had an idea of what wanted and what we’d get in our price range, but Moshe blew us away with our wedding set and we ended up with so much more than we expected! I first discovered Moshe on a friends Instagram. I’ve decided to follow him to see what all the hype was about. I am so glad I did. My fiancé and I was shopping around for my ideal of a beautiful engagement ring. I knew what I wanted and I knew he wanted to buy me my dream ring without over paying. Moshe delivered that hands down. He wasn’t only professional, but he makes you feel secure (that was very important to me). As I described my ideal ring to him. With no hesitation he answered «yes, I can do that». My eyes lit up with joy! The next question was «how much?» He gave us a price well under what the retail stores wanted. With excitement and butterflies in my tummy, I looked over to my fiancé and said «this is it!!!» … Of course, at that moment he couldn’t give me an answer because he wanted to surprise me. Three months later at the top of Diamond head, my husband proposed to me with my dream engagement ring. Till now, I get complements from so many women. I 100% recommend diamond guy Hawaii. In fact, I referred so many people, who hasn’t regretted their decision to buy from him and you won’t be, too.
It’s been a little over a year since my husband purchased my wedding ring from Moshe. I believe my husband’s story is on review.
What I like about Moshe, is not only is he honest and friendly, but he will take the time to hear and understand your wants. As a woman we know exactly what we want when choosing a diamond. I’m excited to say that the diamond ring my husband chose was amazing and that we plan to upgrade in the next few months. I recommend anyone who is undecided on where to go, to just stop and take a chance to see what he can offer you. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

I usually don’t write reviews but I feel that I MUST share my experience with everyone. Let’s start from the beginning. My now fiancée did a lot of research online and stumbled upon an Instagram page The Diamond Guy. Being a little hesitant about making such a big purchase based off of an Instagram page I decided to contact Moshe. I am VERY glad I did! I showed him a picture of what she wanted with my price range and diamond preference. What he made was beyond all expectations, it is absolutely beautiful and her dream ring.
However, about a month into our engagement the setting came loose (we think it may be due to the ring needing to be adjusted an entire size down) which caused one of the diamonds in the pave setting to be lost. Moshe and his team were quick to get everything back the way it should be in just under 1 business day! He also cleaned and had it polished!
If you’re looking for amazing quality at a VERY reasonable price Moshe is your guy. He is someone who genuinely cares about his clients and what they want. The Diamond Guy is a must! Thanks again for everything Moshe, if it wasn’t for you and your amazing work I don’t know if she would’ve said yes!

When we first started shopping around for an engagement ring, I wanted to shop around to find the perfect jeweler. My boyfriend on the other hand, stumbled upon Moshe’s Instagram and knew right away, that Moshe was «the one.» He didn’t even bother looking elsewhere. I was a little hesitant because being from Arizona, I knew I wouldn’t be able to see my ring or the diamond in person until it was complete. Moshe was awesome at communicating with Jmarr through email, he was honest and made sure we got exactly what we asked for. We were fortunate enough to be in Hawaii on vacation when the ring became ready, so we stopped by Moshe’s office to pick it up and see it for the first time. Rina was also very pleasant to work with! Once I saw the ring, my heart started racing so fast, I wanted to cry because IT WAS EVERYTHING I IMAGINED IT TO BE. I’m so grateful my bf trusted Moshe and chose him to create such an important thing to us. He was even kind enough to give us a gift card to one of the nicest Italian restaurants on the island. I found Moshe via Unilocal.The positive comments and photos motivated me to call for a consultation. I called for an appointment and was able to meet with Moshe soon after. I wanted to upgrade my wedding ring to a more modern setting. I talked to him about what I wanted and he showed me some photos of pieces that he designed as well as some live pieces and loose diamonds. The process took about 2 months and a few more meetings. I changed my mind twice about the center diamond. Through it all, Moshe remained very positive, professional, supportive. He is not happy until you are happy. He designed a ring to match my Tiffany’s wedding band. He had it made from scratch so it is an original piece, not a factory made mass produced setting. Working with Moshe, Rina and Nicole is like working with friends. Gonna miss you all… until the next acquisition! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, I love my ring!

I can’t rave about Moshe enough. Last year my boyfriend asked me to design my perfect engagement ring. I had my eye on Diamond Guy and was really wowed by his work. Honestly, I had never seen anything so amazing. You can just tell he really loves what he does for a living. We were both skeptical at first. We live in California and the idea of someone designing an engagement ring we couldn’t see until delivery was a bit nerve-​wracking. The Diamond Guy worked with us for about 6 months to find the perfect diamond, after that we worked on a design together. I feel like this process can be really stressful for some people, but he couldn’t have been more accommodating. We shared so many emails and he really kept us updated on the whole process. When the ring finally arrived we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. It was all we had hoped for and more. I can promise you, you will not regret the decision to work with him! I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we have ever made.

Moshe is amazing I actually found out about him and his beautiful jewelry on Instagram I entered one of his giveaway contests and actually won a ring :) my friends were all very skeptical at first but I was presently surprised when my beautiful ring arrived ! Class Act place. I recently had a few pieces of jewelry that I hadn’t worn in years and needed repair so I decided to look into selling them instead of having them just collect dust. When I first contacted them via their website, their response was quick and we were able to meet up several days later.
What I liked about Moshe was he was honest and was able to give me good advice. I didn’t end of selling the pieces that day, but ended up coming back the next week, after realizing just how accurate he had been. It may not have been total value of the pieces, because of resale, but it was SOOO much easier and less hassle than using Ebay or Craiglist. I would defintely go back again… but next time to buy something :) They have wonderful jewelry there for reasonable prices. This place can’t be beat.
