Lost while looking for this place? You can enter through Keeaumoku Super Market by turning right once you enter the supermarket. The menu and cash register are located at this entrance. Confused because you’re looking for patbingsoo and the menu says shave ice? It’s the same thing! It’s ~$ 10 for a pretty large sized patbingsoo. It’ll fill two people as a snack or four people as a dessert. I think the fruit variety changes depending on availability, but we got green grapes, strawberries, and kiwis. Other toppings include condensed milk, kinako powder, sliced almonds, and azuki(red bean). The patbingsoo also comes with a shot of espresso. We didn’t pour it in, but that was a nice touch. All coffee products come in regular and large sizes. We also ordered a large vanilla latte. I liked it because it comes unsweetened. I’m not a coffee connoisseur, so I’ll let someone else do a deeper evaluation, but I liked the latte. Parking can sometimes be an issue since it shares that crazy lot with all those establishments, but it’s a convenient place and relatively empty since it’s new, so it’d make a great place to study.

Commes des Garçon is a brand that I do double-takes every time I think about it, as I don’t think of this as Japanese(very cute but overpriced stuff — total side note). You know when you meet someone, and their name totally does not correspond to what you expect them to look like? En Hakkore Café, a coffee and dessert café, is one of those puzzles. But it’s okay, my inner hipster loves the thrill of the foodie hunt, and the bingsoo was good so it’s worth the visit En Hakkore Café is located inside Keeaumoku Supermarket, right next to their fruit and produce section. It’s a very small café, but it’s charming, cute, and serves good bingsoo. One jumbo order will serve at least 2 to 3 people. Let me tell you, in crazy summer Hawaiian heat, bingsoo is the most satisfying thing ever. We received a small and cute cup of coffee to pour onto it. Obvious tip: it melts the ice pretty quick, so I don’t suggest pouring the whole thing at once.

Cute little café in Keeaumoku Super Market that is reminiscent of my friend’s adventures abroad in Korea. They have an amazing $ 10 patbingsoo for two that comes with a shot of espresso. The ice is the same texture as Taiwanese snow ice desserts, and it comes topped with azuki beans, fruits, kinako-covered mochi, and almond chips! The ice is drenched in condensed milk, so a little bit of espresso tones down the sweetness. I love the mix of ingredients in this patbingsoo! It’s like a little party in my mouth. Would definitely come back for more of this, especially since En Hakkore closes at 9:30 p.m. most weeknights!

Hawaii needs more places that serve good bing soo. We totally need to get a Sul Bing. I mean, they’re on every other block in Seoul, would it be selfish for us to have at least one? Named after a spring referenced in the Bible, this café, hidden off to the side of the entrance to Keeaumoku Super Market is a cute but busy little shop. The owners are really nice, and occasionally you’ll catch their children working too. The coffee drinks here are pretty good, but the star item is definitely the«Jumbo Pat Bingsoo». I’m not sure why it’s written on the menu in half Korean, half English, but it’s the only item on the menu board written in Korean, so just point at that if you can’t speak. The ice is actually milk-flavored to add dimension to it. They serve the bingsoo with a shot of espresso, reminiscent of an affogato. One time, though, feeling creative, we asked for a shot glass of milk to pour on top and ran into the market and got some brownies to stick inside. That really did it for us; we left happy that night.

After a few weeks of the wife begging to come here to try their jumbo bing soo, we tried this place out with my mom and sister. This Korean shave ice was HUGE! But! The ice is fluffy(not dense like regular shave ice) and was topped with condensed milk, azuki, kinako, and fruits. As others have mentioned, it came with an espresso, which could be poured on top. The bing soo was very yummy and perfect for this hot summer weather. And, the wife and I were able to finish a bowl with no problem! The only thing is, although the store hours says that it opens until 9:30, they started cleaning the machines they use to make bing soo around 8:30. So we couldn’t buy another jumbo bing soo to bring home to our other sister. Also, we later found out that sometimes, you might(or might not) have mochi included with your bing soo. When my sister went again with a friend, it had mochi in it. But when my mom went for another visit, there were no mochi. So, if you’re lucky, you might get mochi with your bing soo. If you’re in the area, we highly recommend trying out this bing soo. But, don’t come too close to closing time or you might be disappointed that they aren’t making any more bing soo…

It’s been so hot that shave ice has become a necessary food group. My coworkers are now hooked into my latest addiction but the problem for us has been finding a place open after work. Not a problem here!!! PATBINGSOO(aka patbingsu, bingsu etc) $ 10 Korean shave ice large enough for 2… with a shot of espresso. WOW. I’m no expert but it tasted like: shave ice, some kind of sweetener-condensed milk(?), kinako powder, sliced almonds, whole walnuts(?), green grapes, kiwis, strawberries, and azuki beans. Sounds pretty healthy to me! Maybe the cost scares people, but when we go to other shave ice places, we spend at least $ 5pp, so this $ 10 shave ice for 2 is right in the same range. You could probably even have 3 people share it but not if I’m one of them. If you share with me, it’s for 2. I saw Malia H post a picture of this a few days ago on Instagram and it looked yummy but her caption was in Korean(!) so I had to Wikipedia/Google this and ask her where the heck this place was. I figured if Koreans post Korean desserts and caption it in Korean, it must be good. LOCATION: inside Keeaumoku supermarket to the right of the produce section. They also have their own door from the parking lot. HOURS: they open til 9 or 9:30p! Happy Hour shave ice FTW! This is actually a coffee place that happens to serve shave ice so they’re open at 9am(except Sun). Breakfast bingsoo anyone? I’ve only had this dish one other time from a restaurant a few doors away and I didn’t like it. So for me, this is a 5-star«as good as it gets» pat bing soo. If you know a better version of this Korean shave ice here in HNL, let me know.

I came here today to try my first Pat Bing Su! Pat Bing Su is basically Korean style shaved ice with almond powder, shaved almonds, red beans, and fruits topped with espresso poured over. It was very savory and sweet at the same time. It was definitely an interesting combo! Great way to start off my day with some shaved ice and espresso!

I love shave ice with azuki bean so I wanted to give patbingsu or korean shave ice a try. Located inside the Keeaumoku Super Market, En Hakkore Café offers it in one size, jumbo for $ 9.99. Pricey, but its definitely jumbo enough to feed 3. It also comes with a mini cup of coffee to pour on the side. We ate it without the coffee and my kids and I loved it! The azuki bean and the fruits were delicious and the texture of the shave ice was perfect. A perfect treat for a hot summer day. The café has a small seating area and its chic, dark woods décor makes it stand out in the supermarket. They also serve espresso drinks, fraps, juices and smoothies. I can’t wait to return to try their waffles and soft serve too!

For a non desert lover, this place I would come back to. It is an adult shave ice. Typically shave ice would be served with azuki beans, bobas, and other sweet things but this shave ice had a layer of Kanako powder and a shot of espresso to drizzle on top. It is the perfect marriage of sweet and bitter. My only recommendation is, I would order it with less azuki beans next time.

It’s a small café tucked inside of Keeamoku market! The jumbo bingsu is delicious! It’s a little more than double than the regular size for bingsu! The jumbo singsu with red azuki brand, kiwi, strawberry, grapes, sliced almonds, walnuts, condensed milk, some sort of bean power, and shave ice! ^^ The bingsu is every sweet! So if you’re not fond of very sweet things, a smaller size is recommended! The soft serve ice cream tastes like any other soft serve ice cream & is satisfying.

Located inside Keeaumoku Supermarket, a beautiful clean and uncrowded café to get your caffeine fix. I assumed the woman behind the counter is the owner and she was very pleasant. Prices are comparable to your mainstream coffee shop in the area, and being that they’re new, no lines to wait in. Have it 4 stars to start since I only ordered a latte(medium for $ 3.72 including tax). I did notice however that they have waffles and acai bowls and smoothies so I’ll definitely come back to try those. So go in and try it and get your buzz on! My latte was delish!
