Salmon, chicken and steak grilled to perfection! Ask them how well you want your meat cooked and they will make it special just for you. My salmon was seasoned just right. The mashed cauliflower is a must as well as the grilled veggies. If you want a satisfying meal it’s worth checking out. I grabbed a bite to go as we were running around and doing some shopping. Prices were pretty fair for Hawaii… everything here is so gosh darn expensive! But I probably enjoyed the food here more than some of the other places I went to while on my trip.

One of my favorite go to places, especially as a fitness enthusiast and can be really picky while I’m prepping for a bodybuilding show, grylt allows health conscious people solid protein sources, with good complex carbs and a variety of greens to choose from. Grylt makes a healthy clean meal taste amazing, it’s like a cheat meal and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this place for those who are looking for a healthy option in this new year but don’t want to sacrifice taste at all.

Ordered a salmon wrap. Guy starts making it and pulls out a puny 3.5oz piece of salmon for a 12in tortilla wrap. After adding a ton of lettuce to make the wrap look big, I couldn’t even find the salmon in it. $ 12 for lettuce and a mouthful of salmon. I had to go find dinner after that. The plate the salmon is on is a small 5″ plate.

Awesome chicken wraps with Asian fusion sauce! Delicious salmon plates! Great place to eat. Healthy fast food. Not a fan of their steak but either than that I highly recommend!

Fresh fast food but healthy choice. Always love this place. Steak is pretty tender and chicken is not so dry. Grilled veggies are good too. Mashed cauliflower is not bad either. They measure the oz on a scale so portion is consistent;)

II ordered a steak plate which comes with a small portion of sliced steak, a side order of vegetables and rice OR potatoes, which I got for a dollar more. Who serves potatoes — especially mashed without gravy? I was so sad. They serve steak with this small — less than an ounce container of sauce — I got bbq. For $ 12.00 or $ 14.00 I can’t even remember — and I should of just went to Wholefoods and bought myself a skirt steak or something close — I could of eaten more food and been more satisfied with my order. I also ordered a wrap which took forever to make. Even thought it’s a healthier option, I wouldn’t come back

Fresh and really good food. I had a salad and tofu and it was great. My man had the seafood trio and the ahi was seared to perfection, salmon was rich and tasty, and the the shrimp were good. We ordered Thai chicken soup as well. Hmmm. Don’t quite know what to say about that except there was just too much going on in there… ie.
Too many flavors competing for attention. Service was good. Parking at Kahala is always a bit of a struggle but once you are in it is a nice place.

Rarely do I have a meal that is so good I have to write about it. One time was at the Pink House in Savannah, GA. This is another.
Could this be? A food court restaurant with the best fish tacos I have ever tasted?!? It’s true: Grylt had the best fish tacos I’ve experienced. I cannot tell you if it was the perfectly salt and peppered seared ahi tuna, the deliciously marinated cabbage, or the mild yet perfect wasabi sauce topping it off — or all three put together. Bottom line, I’m in town for the week and I’m going back at least one more time. Simply amazing.

Great little spot located right around the left corner of the entrance of Kahala mall, if you’re entering by wholefoods.
This place reminds me a lot like Tender Greens. Except I think Grylt serves fresher food. They serve salads with fresh grilled veggies/​meats. My favorite item on the menu is the signature salad with chicken.
The staff is friendly and is very attentive to detail; to mention a few manager Chris, and Austin is both awesome! I’ve been here back to back and have always had a good experience.
The prices are pretty steep around $ 13 – 15 for a salad, however you definitely get what you pay for quality, generous portion and taste will not disappoint.

Had GRYLT the other day and all I can say is amazing! I had the steak sandwich with the Citrus Herb Mayo and side Grilled Veggies. They have gotten a new type of oatmeal bread that tastes very good. A little sweet, and I liked it. Gave the sandwich alot more flavor. The grilled veggies were cooked perfect and had a lot of flavor as well.
The staff there is very good and had great customer service. Right when you walk up they all greeted me and handed me a sample of the steak. Which tasted very delicious. After looking at the menu for a while I decided to go with the steak sandwich. And was very happy with what I have gotten for so cheap. Normally when you get something that good you have to pay way too much money for it. But this was perfect.
Overall one of the best experiences I have had in a while getting myself some food and I will be looking forward to coming back again after this great experience.

Good burrito wraps.. I perfur steak wrap and its spinach wraps all organic. also good curry coconut and beef curry soups and tomato soups. its expensive but the price is worth it!

An excellent choice for someone that’s trying to follow a Paleo diet. I got the braised beef with kimchee, mashed cauliflower and steam veggies. It was so great. Perfect meal after I’ve been eating nothing but carbs for days.

Got the chicken wrap and barley soup. Both were delicious! The ingredients were fresh and the serving size is perfect for one person. The girls working there were super helpful and nice also. She even filled up my water bottle with ice and water. Super nice!
I would eat here again. It’s very convenient since I work nearby and can go there for lunch.
Seating can be tricky sometimes since its in the mall.

I actually really like Grylt and the whole idea of it. It’s perfect if you’re on a low carb diet! Pick you protein (fish, steak, chicken or shrimp) and your sides. I usually just get all grilled veggies. The food is pretty good but I must say the price is a bit steep here being that is a plate lunch/​take out type of place. I ordered the surf & turf and replaced rice with grilled veggies. It came out to about $ 17! Salmon was a very small piece as well as the steak. But other than that, I do enjoy the food especially when I’m too lazy to cook.

I went in today after doing some errands at Kahala Mall. I have been twice before and always seem to have an above average experience.
When I walked up I was greeted by a friendly cashier. I went ahead and ordered the steak plate with white rice and manoa lettuce (similar to romaine). The cashier helped me with my sides, as I was a bit confused.
I ordered my dish to go. The steak was great and cooked medium with a nice char. Some of the pieces did seem to be a little older than the others. The rice was standard Hawaiian white sticky rice. The side salad had a balsamic dressing that was light and tasteful.
I will definitely choose this spot over any other inside Kahala Mall when I am back running errands.

Great service, made to order food.
Tried their steak plate and while the char and cook were okay, the portion size to price wasn’t what I was hoping for. Two small scoops of rice and probably half to two thirds of what you could get from other steak places. A friend’s ahi plate looked similar. The greens were alright but cut really weird, probably for presentation but it required more chopping to eat.
Menu is varied and the food tries to be upscale take out. They go for a weird medium between restaurant food versus plate lunch which would explain the prices and portions.

I’ve only tried a few wraps from Grylt & they were pretty fantastic. Fresh veggies, tasty sauce & tender protein.
Everything was seasoned inside and out (meaning even the wrap was lightly salted. Nice touch!).
Service is always friendly & if you’re not sure what you wanna try, they’ll make suggestions & offer samples.
Personally, I like the kalbi wrap (with kimchee inside) & the chicken wrap. Included sauce really complements the meat.
The price can be a little overwhelming, but you get what you pay for. Yummy, fresh, and healthy eats.
