Guardian Pool Fence Systems of Hawaii was great. Elvar had a small window to install our fencing, but made it happen on time. The fence is great (for what it is). Much more see-​thru than the older style fencing. It’s sturdy and the installation on our concrete deck will have minimal size holes to fill after we are done using it. Elvar was very professional and made sure all our questions where answered before he left the project.

Our family will be moving into a home on the marina in Hawaii Kai. We have two young children and small dogs so we are very concerned for their safety around the waters edge. Once in the marina water, there is no easy way for a young child or pet to climb back out.
We wanted to fence off the area but did not want something that the kids could climb or would block the beautiful view of the water. We thought about a glass fence but they are very expensive, permanent, and hard to keep clean. That’s when I read about these mesh pool fences. A quick search online led me to Elvar at Guardian Pool Fence.
Elvar was very personable and easy to work with. He was prompt in returning calls, texts, and answered all my questions. The entire process was very smooth and we got the fence installed quickly.
These fences are much stronger than they look and there is no way for a young child to climb over it since its made of a mesh material. The powder coated aluminum and stainless steel base rods should hold up to the salt environment until the kids are older and no longer need the fence. I like that the black mesh material is see through so it does not completely block the view. The self close gate assures that it is not accidentally left open and you can also lock it with a key. When the kids are older and no longer need the fence, or if I need to temporarily take it down, I could do it myself in a few minutes. I like this fact that it is not permanently secured to the ground but the angles and tension required to hold it up makes it too difficult for a child to remove. We are very happy with this fence and would highly recommend Elvar.

I found Guardian Pool Fence online and gave Elvar a call before we moved into a new home with a pool. The system seemed fairly strong for a mesh type fence, and was attractive. I wanted it to be removable in the future (when the kids get bigger) without any major modification, and this fence seemed like it fit the bill. Elvar promptly met me at the house, showed me the mesh material and the posts, gave me options, and a quote. Very professional guy. I briefly contemplated just going down to the HD, buying some aluminum fence panels, and doing it myself but I didn’t want it to be permanent, and besides, all the black bars make your backyard look like a prison. Once I made up my mind, Elvar had it ordered and installed within a couple weeks. Took him about 3 – 4 hours to install it, and it looks great. Brown poles and mesh make the fence blend nicely with the moss rock wall in the yard.
If you’re looking for something that’s totally indestructible that will withstand a football player charging into it, this is not for you. You will want tubular steel posts and fencing with deep concrete footings or something to hold up to that kind of abuse, but that’s not the point here, is it? The fence is plenty strong enough to deter children from attempting to defeat it, is nice to look at, removable in minutes when you don’t need it, and does not require major construction to install. I think it’s perfect for its purpose, I’m happy with the quality of the product, and the service I received. I wholeheartedly recommend Elvar and Guardian Pool Fence.

Elvar understood the panic we had about our kids’ safety, so he came for a consultation and ordered what we needed immediately. We also needed a safety drain for the pool and wanted the deck sealed. We used Guardian Pool Fence Systems to install our pool fence when we first moved into our house last year. This was by far the best thing we could have done. With two little ones running around, it has given us the peace of mind knowing that they are excluded from getting into the pool! Even though we are constantly watching those little guys twenty four — seven, they are still very fast and very rascally! Pool fence is an absolute MUST for any one with little kiddos running around.
