Just had a filling done with the best dentist ever in my history of dentistry. He has such a great method for delivering anesthesia to numb your gums. I never have any pain and he does the whole process so thorough and quickly.

Staff is professional, courteous, and highly skilled. Very proactive with following up on appointments. Very happy with there work.

Been to Dr. Teramoto for dentistry for the family (4 of us) for nearly 10 years. Surprised that there are so few Unilocal reviews, but not surprised that all of them are 5 stars. He is one of the most professional, state-​of-​art, and caring dentists that I have ever been to. This is not a ‘dental mill’ like so many practices have become today. It is just he and his staff who treat everyone like family and work so hard to take care of us. This weekend, I broke a tooth and called on Monday. Tasha, the super pleasant office manager said they could see me on Monday, but due to work conflicts they saw me today (Tuesday). The broken tooth (a front one, making me look like a homeless type :-(was repaired in his office within one hour); the work looks awesome! He has previously done ceramic crowns for which he has the specialized 3 D scanning and milling equipment that few dentists have. The crowns are built and installed within a single visit ! He previously replaced all my failing amalgam fillings from other dentists with ceramic fillings and have never had a problem since. His prices are also very reasonable compared to other dentists I have visited.
One word: BRAVO! Hope he stays in practice for many years to come…

I have been going to Dr. Teramoto for years and my experiences have all been positive. His staff is friendly and they genuinely want to make sure you have a pleasant experience each visit. Parking is somewhat limited, but you can always walk across the street from Kahala mall. There are a couple of stalls reserved for his patients and some guest parking in front of the building.
Tasha always gives me phone and email reminders whenever I have an upcoming appointment. If I need to change an appointment time, she tries to shuffle around other appointments in order to accommodate me. After Hilda cleans my teeth, she massages my gums to relax them after all the cleaning. If feels good!
Dr. Teramoto is an expert in his field. He was named one of Hawaii’s Best Dentist in the Honolulu Magazine. He answers all of my questions when I have concerns and shares good advice. When I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled and get an implant, he referred me to the right specialist for the procedure and provided guidance throughout the entire process. We usually chat after each appointment so he gets to know me on a personal level.
There is an online rewards program that you get points for every visit and you can redeem them for merchandise. It’s a way of saying thank you for being a patient.

Nice, easy to talk to, professional, intelligent, knowledgeable, efficient, honest, will not talk you into something you don’t need, experienced and up to date on all the new technology. Takes his time but is quick because he is very good at what he does. He’s also on the Honolulu Magazine’s Best Dentists in Hawaii list.

I’ve been going to Dr. Lance Teramoto for a few years now… the routine treatments are great… the basic, teeth cleaning, xrays, and normal check ups…
Now I’m having a cap replaced and WOW!!! is he great!
In order to replace my cap, he had to numb my mouth to remove the old cap… as he told me he was gonna start the numbing process, I immediately began to grip the arms of the chair… but, uhhhhhhhh
For the FIRST time in my 55+ years of going to the dentist (didn’t have to go before I had teeth, hee hee), the process of numbing my mouth DOES NOT HURT AT ALL!!! He uses a wonderful topical and when he gives you the injection, he is so patient and has such a wonderful technique that NO PAIN… whatsoever…
I swear by Dr. Teramoto…, great dentist… even my temporary cap looks great… can’t wait to go back in a couple of weeks for the finish!
Soooo if you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend him!
