UYE Trivia Night at The Brewseum #3

I wanted to make sure I was at my best. That meant no booze. Keeping it to ginger ale and root beer was a little hard but I wanted to win so badly. For our team, and for G. The response to Alexander’s Call To Arms was adequately filled with several veterans… Maka, Cathy, Brigette, Victoria, John, Kristine, Doug, Derek and Matt. I brought G, our secret weapon, and Mog P. to double up security. Nikki showed up, good to see her again as well.
We got into our drinks starting to feel our nerves calm down. Although we were determined and knew we would win, you couldn’t help feeling the seed of doubt waiting to burst out from the dark pits of your mind. The first round started and the answers were coming. Then, it was over. When the answers were revealed, Team Pley set the pace of the night. 10 of 10 for a perfect score. A first for us and well deserved.
What a night of fun this turned out to be. The best so far. Glad we could get G in there and share in the merriment. That’s aces for me.

After three awesome UYE events with a mix of hosts, we finally won on our third try as Team Pley! :) Thanks Alexander for hosting, we missed you Auntie Nadine! Victory a did great in your popcorn job. :) As usual, a wonderful group of Unilocalers got together for a night of trivia at Brewseum. I always find that that best company leads to the best time and I truly enjoyed my night with these friends. We killed it as a group and I think listened to everyone at the table which I appreciated. Smart or not, we all have our knack somewhere and Team Pley is great at spreading the love. Twilight forever. Brewseum does trivia in 6 rounds of 10 questions that we score every two rounds with the host. There is a seriousness to it but compared to other trivia nights, I love how comfortable this one is. They let you do parenthesis or wrong spelling without losing points. It’s fun filled with good beer, free popcorn, tasty snacks for sake and excellent company. The owners and staff are some of the best people I have ever met. Team Pley only adds to the already awesome atmosphere. I am so proud of how hard we worked together — love you guys. WE DID IT!!! #1!!! #yelphawaiirocks

Third time’s the charm. What a perfect blend of brains on this team. Team pleY has conquered their victory to be trivia champions after their two second place streak this Wednesday night. Thank you to our host and team lead Alexander G for getting a fun group of Unilocalers together for a nice night of food, beer and brain exercises.

Trivia consisted of (but not limited to) geography, science, literature, government, movies, sports and markets of all sorts during six rounds of 10 tantalizing questions on all the screens of the establishment. Each answer counting as one point. Anything goes! You know it, just say it or rather whisper it to the person writing down all the answers! It’s amazing how brains of all sorts worked together as a recipe to deserve this win. Well deserved.
If you’re looking into trivia night at the Brewseum with a nice group of friends, don’t forget to arrive early for a night of fun before 5 to reserve your tables on a Wednesday night with your stamp card in tow. On your 5^th stamp, you will get your nice shiny, golden wings presented to you during a nice ceremony.
