This 5 star review is long overdue. I cannot speak highly enough of Martin, my driver for Ace Townecar and Limo. I travel often and count on him for reliable airport transportation. Let me share an example of his outstanding service; this one really goes above and beyond.
I was traveling home for an unexpected family situation… my mental state was «exhausted, overwhelmed and frazzled» and I was running late for my early morning flight — so much so, that I totally forgot my suitcase that was sitting outside my front door. Yes, I left without my suitcase. When I walked out to the car I just grabbed my carry-​on bag and purse and hopped in. I realized what had happened after we pulled up to departures at the airport — and panicked! Martin was calm, made some phone calls to juggle drivers for his other clients, and then raced across heavy morning traffic to retrieve my bag I’d left at home. Thankfully, it was still there. Martin got the suitcase, drove BACK to the airport fighting more traffic, and made it just in time for me to catch my flight. All with a smile. What a great guy! Thank you, Martin, and see you soon.

Very professional. Will be waiting for you even if your plane is early. Lincoln Town car is new and clean with mints and water waiting for you. All you have to do is get in the car. Drove very safely. Bags and all are taken care of by him. Thanks for the nice ride!

Great experience with this company! Sent them an email online telling them the dates and places we needed to be driven. Martin promptly emailed me back with a price quote. Then he called me a couple days before the pick up to get my credit card info. Service was prompt. Our driver was very nice and the SUV was clean. Prices were reasonable. Be aware that the price they quote you does not include a 20% gratuity that they add automatically. They will tell you about it when they take your credit card info, but not when they give you a price quote. I was fine with this as it was nice not to have to worry about carrying tip money for the driver and I felt he totally deserved a 20% tip. However, if you like to have control over what you tip someone, this might be an issue for some customers.

My family used Ace for transportation from a hotel near Houston Hobby to the Galveston Cruise Port and from the port back to Hobby. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience. Martin was very nice and professional in setting up our service and following up. Ballah picked us up at the hotel and drove us down to Galveston and Tom waited patiently for us until we got off the ship and drove us to the airport. Ballah & Tom were both very polite and dressed professionally. Both helped load the tons of luggage that 7 people would have without any problems and kept up easy conversation as they drove. I truly could not have asked for a better experience or drivers. They made my family feel special. Thank you Ace. If I’m ever in Houston again, I will definitely use your services again.

We used Ace for five people going from Hobby to Galveston. We were met on time and the driver helped us get our luggage from baggage claim to the SUV. We got loaded up and headed for Galveston. The driver got lost trying to find Moody Gardens hotel. I had only located it on Google maps but I ended up giving directions from the back seat. At one point it appeared that he was resetting his phone and trying to bring up maps while driving.
We got picked up on time, the SUV was clean, and we got to our destination.

Martin Oduok, owner of Ace Townecar, was reliable and friendly from the very start. My phone calls and emails were promptly returned and all of my questions answered. I was concerned about the arranged meet up at Houston International, as well as one week later at the Bayport Cruise Terminal. But not to worry — Martin himself, the owner, arrived punctually and transported us in the comfort of his luxury towncar to our destinations. Highly recommend — Thanks Martin!

Deceptive pricing. What else are they hiding?
In full disclosure, I only attempted to use this service. I asked for a quote and was given a price which I thought was fair. Then when I started making the reservation the price suddenly went up by $ 10 per trip. When I asked about it I was told that it was a «service fee» (and was not gratuity). I decided to cancel my reservation at that point. If they won’t fully disclose the full cost when asked a direct question, what else might they be hiding?

Found Ace on Unilocal when I was in need of a transfer from the Princess Bayport cruise terminal to IAH airport. On time. Friendly driver. And the best price out of the four companies I checked with. Would gladly use them again.

From start to finish — Excellent! I called and spoke with Martin to book transportation from the Airport to the hotel for my bosses. Martin was professional and friendly from the first phone call until he brought them back to the airport. Thanks, Martin!

My go-​to company for business/​personal services. Martin will take care of you. I appreciate that I can email him my details. I’m extremely detail-​oriented and OCD about timing and schedules. Martin put me completely at ease. Their prices are competitive and their service is excellent. They are definitely worth the price for long out of town trips when parking on-​site does not make sense and/​or your friends and family cannot drop you off or pick you up.
Joseph is an excellent driver. He was always prompt (if not, early) and was friendly. The vehicles were clean and smelled fresh. Very impressive. Recently, upon returning to the U.S. we were stuck in baggage claim and customs for what seemed an eternity. I was so glad to see Joseph upon our exit. That sign with my name on it was a sight for sore eyes (and legs). Don’t even think twice about it! Call them for whatever private transfers you may need.
Martin and his team are professional and I will continue to give him my business.

My family used Ace on vacation to go to the cruise port in Galveston. The service was great, they picked us up at 5:00 AM on a Sunday. The driver, Joseph, was fantastic. He even had a movie for my 7 year old to watch, which was nice since it was such a long night for all of us.
We used them on the way back from our trip when we had more people and they sent two cars. They had to wait for over an hour and a half because customs took so long and still were amazing.
The service is cheaper then the cruise transfers and worth every penny. They could have charged more and it would have been worth it. If you are heading to Houston this is the only service I would use. Joseph and Martin are awesome! Thank you for helping make a great trip better.

I called late Monday night for an early pick up Tuesday morning. Martin was very nice, professional and really liked that I could text him the information. He arrived early, drove calmy and did a wonderful job.

I was looking for a car service to pick up some of our employees. I had never used one, so I chose this service based on the ratings and comments and I was not disappointed. The employees said Martin was very nice, his car was clean and he was on time. One of our employees even tried to tip Martin, but instead of taking the extra money (which he could’ve done and I would’ve never known) he told him that the gratuity had already been taken care of. He will be my «go to» guy for car service from now on!

Martin (owner of Ace Townecar & Limo) is a wonderful driver. My family and I have been using him for over 5 years. Not only is he always on time to pick us up, he is always a few minutes early. His car is safe, clean and new. His price is very comparable and fair. In all the times that I have used Martin, I have never once had an issue with his service. In fact, I have frequently recommended him to many of my friends and colleagues. If you need to go anywhere in the Houston area, I definitely suggest calling Martin!

After much research to find the best way to travel from IAH airport to Galveston Port for a RC Caribbean Cruise, Ace Townecar & Limo was it. We were so blessed to have Martin as our driver and he exceeds all expectations as a five star service. As most of his reviews say, he arrived 15 minutes early, impeccably dressed and a true gentleman, and his car was equally top notch in cleanliness and comfort.
An added appreciation was his conversation and engagement with us as we traveled the one hour drive towards our vacation. He truly is a gem of a person and I couldn’t have been happier to give my money towards an independent business owner in support of the American dream to create our destiny!
I purchased this service as a surprise (as opposed to taking a shuttle bus organized through the cruiseline) for my friend accompanying me. He couldn’t have been more shocked at the luxury of it all. Whether it’s for business or personal use, Ace Townecar is the way to go! They are always prompt!
