We offer a variety of hardscape options including: a hand-​crafted stone overlay system, decorative concrete, pavers, stone and travertine. We also build patio covers, pergolas, outdoor kitchens and fire features. Our goal is to make your backyard a space you simply cannot wait to get home to.

History

Established in 2009.

Allied Outdoor Solutions is owned by the same family that founded Allied Siding and Windows in 1989. Since Allied Outdoor Solutions was founded in 2009, they have completed almost 5,000 home improvement projects across the state of Texas. Just last year, they completed over 1500. They try to approach each project with the same care they would if it were their own home.

Joshua Teekell, President of Allied Outdoor Solutions, is a degreed Mechanical Engineer and understands the need for structural integrity in the processes revolving around concrete coatings. He has given great diligence in selecting just the right materials that are necessary for quality concrete coatings in our Houston market. The unique blends of elements in Carvestone affords Houston homeowners the very best application for beauty and longevity.

In addition, Joshua comes from a family that has a 22-​year history of serving Houston homeowners in their various remodeling needs. This background and experience serves Allied Outdoor Solutions well as the company endeavors to create «one satisfied customer at a time.»

If I could give zero stars I would! Like all other one-​star reviews beware of Allied. It has been 7 months since promised that our job would be completed. After dealing with two contracting teams we are left with cracking, grout stains, concrete drippings under coping, and poor customer service promising to «make it right». More like bull%* (were the sales reps taught to lie!?)! In addition poor quality and poor workmanship. I would be embarrassed if I were the owner of this company having customers so disappointed and disgusted by a company that does not stay true to their word, CONTRACT, and values. Be aware and choose another vendor from your local home mag (our biggest mistake!). We were lured in by a top sales pitch and an encyclopedia-​thick book full of «positive» reviews. Think twice or be stressed to deal with a team of unprofessional folks who do not value their customers. Btw, I’m glad we have Unilocal to let true customers speak the truth on companies like this. We have been very patient with Allied since day 1 and I can honestly say by fact and feeling we have been taken advantage of.

I was worried after reading the review about Allied Outdoor Solution after reading the reviews but I wanted to take a moment to say that they were fantastic! The my pool deck was completed in just four days and they matched the existing stone perfectly. It is not slippery as I feared. From the salesman to the crew doing the work nothing less than professionalism was displayed. They guys worked from 8 am till dusk. I really appreciate a contractor finishing on time and a job well done!

ok update to my previous post. Outside of the concrete guys which are subcontract to Allied, the project manager and general foreman stopped today and explained everything. And they are working to make it right! I appreciate you’re taking time to stop by today Mark and Guy. Your explanation of the crack makes sense and we appreciate that you’re working with us to make it right.

The people at allied were very nice to work with. They finished the job promptly and did it for a great price. We are happy to have a new patio addition that looks great with the colors in our house. The office either answers out calls or would call back within the day when I had a question.

I am sorry Mr T. that you feel the need to disgrace a 6 thousand dollar costomer of yours. I have indeed called your office after your e-​mail to me stating «that you wanted to reconnect, and do whats right» over three months ago. I never heard from you. You do not honor your warranty. The end. There was a gentleman that came out and quoted us over a hundred dollars per expansion joint. This was not a member of your team? Strange. So a complete stranger came into my home, and pretended to be someone from ALLIED to look at warranty coverage? Who then told us that it would be at leat 100 dollars per expansion joint (we have 17) to fix? Maybe instead of writing reviews late at night you should be concerned on finding this imposter. I also find it hard to believe that Unilocal is «filtering» all your good reviews. WHY? Seriously? On a side note… check out the BBB. Over 20 complaints in the last year. I recently found out that as long as a company responds to the complaint (by e-​mail) that the complaint goes down as «settled». That certainly does not mean that the company did anything to rectify… it just means that they responded. I will be posting pictures of the 6 thousand dollar job we recieved within 24 hours. I am not going to respond any longer to an owner of a company that does not stand behind his work/​warranty. Please check out my pictures for yourself, and decide… by the way, if you click on properties of these pictures, you will see that they were take within 6 months of completion!

I agree with the previous poster. Use at your own risk. The product doesn’t match the sales pitch or literature. The surface is extremely slippery when wet and dangerous.
