Already Maid

I just wanted to drop you a quick note saying that I was very happy with my overall experience. You guys were very quick to respond to my messages, the online booking and payment was convenient, and the price was affordable. Most importantly, the service I received was great. Vicki was the only person who showed up, but she was all we needed. She was polite, professional, considerate, and thorough. It takes alot to impress me, and she certainly did. I am very detail oriented, and when I did my walk through, I didn’t find a single thing that wasn’t perfect.

Probably the most inexpensive of all the highly rated maid services on Unilocal.My maid was fast/​efficient (though seemed to be rushing a little) with okay quality but I’m still kind of cheap so I’m looking elsewhere. Also, my cat incidentally got sick shortly after my cleaning. Not sure if it had to do with the cleaning supplies…

I’ve been a customer for over 2 years and have not had any problems. Gloria and Victoria are hard workers. They call if they are running late or need to move our appointment and have been able to work around changes in my schedule.

We used this service for about 4 months, once a month, after a different cleaning service damaged our furniture. Their prices are reasonable, but every single time they came, they missed cleaning things: large areas of carpet, bathroom mirrors, even our master shower. At first we signed up for the «supreme» clean which included things like cleaning baseboards and door frames. Yet after two visits, and even though I reminded them to clean them on the second visit, our door frames and baseboards were as smudgy as ever, with visible fingerprints from everyday use. So I downgraded to the regular clean, figuring I’d give them a chance to get that right. But again, they ignored obvious things that needed cleaning. Yesterday after they came I ran my finger along a picture ledge and it was covered in dust, and there was still strands of hair on the walls of our shower, so I don’t think they even made any attempt to clean it. We’re canceling and will now have to find another cleaning service, again…

I requested a cleaning service for my house before I was to host a wedding shower very easy to book and reasonably priced so I give them that. But I was very specific that I needed to know the exact time they were to arrive because I needed to take off work. I then found out when you book you book an hour window for them to show up, plus you have to allow for 30 extra minutes of «potential traffic» time. I get it we live in Houston. They were suppose to arrive at 2pm I called at 2:30 and they told me someone would call me back when they found my cleaning booking. I never got a call back, I got an email at 4:00 saying that the cleaning lady tried to call me at 1:55 but I didn’t answer. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. Very upset and WILL NOT be using them again. Wasted a half of day PTO too. Thanks.

As of about 6 months ago we switched over to another service. It came to be that it seemed the cleaners they were sending were doing just the minimum to get done. They didn’t move or clean under the sofa’s or coffee table and we have hard wood floors, so not like it’s all that hard to move stuff around. Having the cleaning crew I have now, I see how much I’ve been missing. The people I used now, move furniture around, dust the ceiling fans, put my sheets to wash, and so much more.
Sorry, but these guys are just OK. There are better services out there for this price.

Great courteous staff. They were late than expected, but called an informed me in advance. Kyla was great, she has great attention to detail. Cleaned my apt, as if it was new, My move-​out cleaning experience was fabulous.

Best cleaning company I’ve had. They are effective and efficient, and show up on time. Pretty much trouble free and very friendly people. I’m super picky and was pleasantly surprised by how easy they are to work with and the great work they did on the house. I’d highly recommend this company!

We’ve had hit-​or-​miss experiences. The first time around I think they did a decent job. However, they had us do our «walk through» when they were pretty much walking out the door, so they were reluctant to come back and complete the things they left out (but were specifically on the list). They did come back and do some of it but since these were things specifically on the list I felt like we shouldn’t have to argue with them about it.
The second time I just asked them to clean the living room/​dining room/​kitchen. They did not do basic things on the list and just yelled upstairs they were leaving so we didn’t even get to do a walkthrough. They had left basic things undone (there were dust bunnies in corners, crumbs on the couch, and she dumped any toys she found into the stroller, instead of putting them in the toy box to save herself the trip upstairs. I figure for nearly $ 200 we should get more than an hour and a half of cleaning and they should at the very least do the things on their own list.

We just hired them to do a move out clean of our place. So no furniture or anything to work around. House was already decently clean. We really just wanted a deep clean for all the small areas, things professional cleaners should do.
To be honest, to call them a mediocre dusting crew would be generous.
Didn’t clean the inside of the toilet bowls.
Didn’t dust the flat surfaces on items like switches and outlets.
Didn’t clean or dust the baseboards.
Finger prints and dirt around door knobs and door frames at arm height.
Blinds weren’t cleaned or even dusted.
Now, I believe in finding good as well.
1) Tubs and faucets were very clean.
2) Sinks and faucets were very clean.
3) Oven was very well done.
All in all, I guess I expected more of the knocks and crannies to be cleaned. Outside the good areas I noted, if it wasn’t at arm level (up or down) it wasn’t touched it seemed. If it required more than a dry paper towel, it wasn’t done. Basically after buying cleaning services, I had to spend another 3 hours going over and cleaning areas and items that should have been done by the crew that showed up.
Maybe they do a better job if you watch them, but if you open the house and leave them to their own supervision like we did, I don’t know that they’d do a good job.

I was very excited to hire professionals to clean our 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house in preparation for a party. I left the house in ideal shape for cleaning — no clutter on the countertops, all dishes put away, laundry baskets stacked in the closet, bathroom counters cleared. The ladies came when I was at work, so my husband let them in and says they were cordial and professional. Unfortunately, when I got home, I was disappointed to find that many of the things listed under the services for the «standard clean» I paid for were either not done or not done thoroughly:
— The trash cans were not emptied
— The carpets in the upstairs bedrooms do not appear to have been vacuumed
— The master bathroom floor is dirty
— Two of the bathroom faucets appear to have received only a cursory wipe (water spots and soap scum remain)
— The kitchen counters appear to have been dusted, but not wiped down (there are drinking glass rings)
I am pleased that the kitchen appliances were wiped down and the hardwood floors look great. Ultimately, though, the fact that I’ll be spending a few hours finishing the job means that I’ll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Ordered a standard clean for my boyfriend’s filthy apartment on short notice, maids were on time and friendly, and the place looks great!
Customer service was good, Already Maid was much easier to deal with than other maid services I’ve dealt with in the past. Thank you!!!

Today Gloria and another kind lady came to my house. They arrived 15 minutes early and asked me to check the house and make sure everything was done right before they left. The house looked spotless when they left and I swear I could eat off my floors. They even swept and mopped underneath my living room (large) rug! They were easy to get along with and there were no language barriers. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends.

About 5 years ago, our first experience with a cleaning/​maid service left us with a $ 200+ plumbing bill. What? You mean, you’re not supposed to pour dirty water down pipes older than your grandma?! Regardless, it’s taken me awhile to forget my frustration and risk having someone else clean the house. Well, it’s worth it! I don’t think my bathroom has ever been so squeeky clean!
Another important note, I truly appreciate being able to communicate with Klsie & Kayla. There’s no language barriers whatsoever. I also had to do a last minute reschedule, and they were super flexible and accommodating.
In the future, hubbie and I will have to find some other topics to fight about… 99 problems, but a clean house ain’t one!

Kelsie and Casey were a joy to have over to the house. I ended up being a little late for our appointment and they made no big deal of it at all. This is my first time ever hiring a maid service and I was really nervous and uncomfortable but they put me at ease.
In a couple of hours they were able to clean my 2500 sq ft house including blinds and windows. They were pretty thorough and saved me a lot of headache trying to get the house sparkling before a party we were throwing the following day!

My parents are coming to visit this weekend and I wanted my apartment to be spotless. This was my first time using a cleaning service and I could not be happier with the service. The maid went above and beyond what I expected.
I live in a garage apartment in the heights (built around the 1940s). Even though I keep things relatively tidy, the actual house can get dirty very quickly because of the age of the apartment. In the past, I would spend a whole day of my weekend trying to clean (mop, scrub the bathroom, do the dishes because I don’t have a dishwasher, etc) and it never seemed clean enough. Not to mention, since I don’t live in the bottom half of the apartment — it’s a hallway & staircase leading up to my apartment — I let it get messier than it should have been — some leaves had blown in and were on the floor hallway, and some of my outdoor tools were scattered around.
I met the maid during my lunch hour to give her my key, and she did a quick scan of my place, told me it would take her about an hour because my place was small. Even though dishes weren’t included in the package I purchased, she offered to do my dishes (she said it wasn’t a big deal because there were so few of them, but I considered it to be a good amount). She also offered to sweep my downstairs hallway, even though I told her it wasn’t necessary and I never expected her to clean downstairs.
I came home to find my downstairs hallway SPOTLESS and I’ve never seen my bathroom so immaculate. I’ve tenaciously scrubbed my bathtub many times in the past, but I could never remove some of the grime and stains. She somehow removed all of the stains and the bathtub is now sparkling white. She did a great job on the rest of the apartment — the floors are so clean I almost slipped once or twice (I’m not complaining though!), the kitchen looks fabulous and my dishes are done. I felt so relieved and relaxed coming home to a clean and organized apartment after work.
I now see how cleaning services are addicting. I will definitely be using Already Maid in the future.

I don’t even want to give it one star, but I have no option. This is NOT based on a cleaning because I never have them the opportunity to come to our house. Let me explain. Maybe I’m the only person in Houston that requires I meet the person who’s coming into MY house when I’m not home. The owners both told me that’s not their typical order of business to meet the people whos houae they are cleaning and seemed shocked I was even asking to meet the woman that would be in our house. So, I politely told him I would take my business else where.
I’m sure these people are great cleaners, but not being able to fulfill the ONE thing I ask, I’m not interested in pursing business.

These guys are fantastic. I was tired of my old cleaning lady bailing on me all the time and my place was getting pretty gross (yeah yeah, I admit it) so I decided to give AM a try and my place has never looked better. The maid did an outstanding job in my place, she was super professional and she even brought me a little present. Booking and paying online was pretty easy and their customer service is friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t be happier with the way my home looks! I immediately got them to keep coming back every other week.
They are about $ 10 bucks more than I used to pay, but honestly, the reliability of the housekeepr and the awesome job she does in my home definitely makes it worth it.
They accept paypal and credit card online.
I highly recommend them.
