Employee Judy Hedden(Store H2 — Spring) went out of her way to work with me on a special situation I had with one of the dining chairs I purchased from Bassett. I bought the Guardsman insurance and while Guardsman corporate was terrible about helping me find the discontinued chair — Judy at the local Bassett came through for me. I live 5 hours away and she marked the chair sold and held it for me for 5 months until I could make the trip to Houston. UPDATE My wife and I met with Alan Dalton the Store Manager in North Houston. What a fantastic experience that was. We are extremely happy with the way we were handled. What a great comeback for Bassett!!! ps. My wife has already fallen in love with some other pieces in the store. $$$$

I want to like them. I do. My experience wasn’t great. I had someone come to do the in house design service, I asked for 1 extra piece to be worked it. It wasn’t, I was told it would fit. I should have done my homework, I didn’t. My work was very late, it was back ordered for months. Then one of my pieces came in broken. My advice if you ever receive something from them broken, DONOTACCEPTIT. It takes them a long time to fix it, they want you to continually resubmit photos. The manager started to get involved and then didn’t follow up. I may try basset again, it won’t be at this location. All the sales person wanted to do was to close the sale. Very disappointing.

We purchased a sectional at Bassett 3 years ago and the quality is TERRIBLE. The fabric started pilling after year 1. The back cushions are attached and starting coming unsewn after year 2. A $ 3000+ couch should not have these issues! I’ve contacted Customer Service several times and they are of no help. The extended warranty is useless as well.
