I can be an overly critical perfectionist, and even I can say that with out a doubt Kathlee at Beau Tied was the best decision I made for my wedding. Everything went smoothly, looked beautiful, and the best part is that I didn’t have to stress at all. I hired Beau Tied for just a day of coordination, but it was so much more! She got me better organized and took stress off my shoulders way before the wedding day! On the day of she was able to make sense of my multiple car loads of décor and put it together even better than I could have imagined. She is professional, organized, has great taste, is so reliable and just puts you at ease. Meet with her once and you’ll see what we’re all raving about.

My husband Ben and I learned of Kathlee and her exquisite wedding planning business through a mutual friend. Forgive the cliché, it truly was a match made in heaven. Kathlee literally brought all of my wedding dreams to life, AND THEN SOME. She not only reinforced my ideas, but put an amazingly unique spin on them making every single design element on our «big day» seem as if it was happening for the first time because of us.
Kathlee was not only a wedding planner extraordinaire; she was a confidant, a therapist, and a friend. When plans fell through because of budget, weather, or (sigh) because I forgot to follow through with something, Kathlee was always equipped with a backup plan. When family idiosyncrasies came out of the woodwork, Kathlee was able to reconfigured things to keep everyone happy. Regarding wedding etiquette, Kathlee gave me her honest opinions with thoughtful suggestions per my request. And let’s be honest, she was my absolute favorite person to talk to about all things wedding, as she got just as excited as me when plans started falling into place.
Between school and work, my schedule was embarrassingly busy, and Kathlee was very receptive to the ways in which I communicated best. She blew me away with her organizational skills and modern methods of communication.
To wrap up this novel I’ll tell you this: our wedding day was seamless. It was my favorite day, and I find myself smiling about it often. Kathlee + Beau Tied Events coordinated the best day EVER with style and grace.

Hiring Kathlee was, without any doubt, the best decision I made for my wedding. I initially only planned to hire a day-​of coordinator, but after talking to Kathlee, I wanted to hire her to do so much more.
Planning a wedding from a distance is a challenge, and Kathlee made sure that I had the right tools and a detailed timeline to keep the process smooth.
Throughout the planning process, Kathlee took care of details and brought up things I would have completely forgotten about (or wouldn’t even know about!); all of the little things that made our wedding special were due to her thoughtfulness and creativity. She was in touch with all of my vendors and made sure everyone knew when and where they needed to be.
Kathlee went out of her way to pick up, drop off, and generally take care of so many things. She even organized for one of her upcoming brides to buy some of our décor!
As for the wedding itself: we had planned to have our ceremony and reception outside at my childhood summer camp. Kathlee made sure we had a rain plan, but the weather was iffy up until that morning. An hour before the ceremony, Kathlee and her team moved everything indoors after already setting it up outside. The rain began pouring down as the ceremony began and Kathlee brought her car around and transported myself and the groom to our reception! Kathlee and her team were flexible up to the very minute and ultimately helped us made the best decision. I honestly have no idea what would have happened if Kathlee hadn’t been there to make sure everything was taken care of.
The indoor reception took place in the camp dining hall, and our guests still (weeks after the wedding!) compliment how the hall transformed into a beautiful reception space due to her design and décor work.
I’ve told everyone that aside from being an amazing wedding planner, Kathlee feels like a good friend. She genuinely cares about her clients and I cannot thank her enough for making my wedding perfect, even with the crazy weather!

Hiring Kathlee and Beau Tied Events to be my day-​of wedding coordinator was one of THE BEST DECISIONS that I made in my entire wedding planning process. I met Kathlee at the Bridal Extravaganza a few weeks after I got engaged and was immediately impressed by her sweet nature, her beautiful design aesthetic, and by how professional she was.
At the time, I didn’t think that I needed a day-​of coordinator, but I am so glad that I saved her contact information– after just a month of planning on my own, I quickly made the decision to go with her! Having never planned a wedding before, I had no idea how many little details and decisions go into making a perfect wedding, and I was overwhelmed. I figured I could handle all the decisions before the big day, but I was not looking forward to being «in charge» on the most important day of my life. Enter Kathlee!

There were countless day-​of details that needed to be thought about, and Kathlee was there to walk me through every single one. She brought up things that I would have never thought about on my own, and helped to troubleshoot potential problems before they actually arose. My wedding was relatively large (~270 people) and she handled it without batting an eye.
We also had a few different wedding traditions we wanted to incorporate (writing our own vows, having our friend officiate, etc.) and Kathlee made sure it happened just the way we wanted. Because our wedding was so large, we wanted to «flip» the venue and use the ceremony space as the reception space. Kathlee worked closely with my amazing caterer (Alexis from Pok-e-Jo’s) and made it come off without a hitch! The ceremony space looked amazing– it was hard to believe she and her team had set up all 25 tables with linens, napkins, centerpieces, and votives in less than an hour.
I was able to be extremely relaxed on my wedding day because I knew that Kathlee would set up everything beautifully and be able to handle anything and everything that came up. Having that peace of mind let me fully enjoy every second of the best day of my life, and I am so thankful for her and her staff!

Kathlee kicked wedding ass!
I thought I could handle my small 35 person desert destination wedding but with work and well, quite frankly never doing anything like this before I found Kathlee and let’s just say the rest is history!
She was there every step of the way and could handle all my 30 million questions from: how much do you tip your vendors to when do I need to get my marriage license to when do I need to have vendors pinned down? (among a ton of other random questions)
I feel like I’m pretty creative so I did have a vision of how I wanted everything styled but honestly I didn’t have to even think about any of that on my wedding day because she has a great eye for style and setting a mood. I left it all up to her and it was stunning! She was able to juggle working with our floral director and the photographer all while setting up the space seamlessly. I was able to have a relaxing day with my friends and family!
She’s very realistic about your budget and will be straight with you while working with what you deem important.
She has different packages for different levels of help which is a nice option. No matter how organized you think you are… you arent. Get some help on your wedding day — it’s soooooo worth it.
