I went to this store because of the plethora of 5 star reviews on Unilocal.When there are this many good reviews, I typically ignore the 2 star reviews and think, «Oh, there will always be complainers».
Don’t make my mistake.
Long story short, the person at the Apple Genius Bar said it was one of the worst repairs she had ever seen. She didn’t believe me when I told her I paid $ 200 for the screen– she thought it was $ 60 max. She immediately noticed that they left out the two screws on either side of the lightning port. Also, the main circle button was a different color. She said that even though the appearance of the screen was ok, it was an absolute disaster inside. Due to the damage, they thought the phone might not even pass the calibration test after the screen was repaired.
Anyways, I got my iPhone 6s Plus repaired for $ 200 by these guys a month and a half ago (that’s $ 50 more than Apple charges, btw). About a month later problems started appearing. My battery would run out by the 2pm whereas before it could go until 9 or 10pm, no problem. Then I drop the phone while I’m sitting down, about 2 feet. I had a Speck case on so it shouldn’t do any damage. Nope. Picked it up and the entire screen had weird graphs on it and the buttons weren’t working. I couldn’t even unlock the screen using Touch ID.
Stay away from these guys. They’re very nice, and I’m sure they don’t mean harm, but they just cost me almost $ 500 (both repairs after taxes) instead of fixing it in one go at the Apple store. I never realized Apple was so cheap replacing screens. I have learned my lesson and will never, ever use a 3^rd party repair ever again.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The people were helpful, informative, and very personable. I had an extremely damaged iphone and wasn’t sure they would be able to repair it. An hour later it was as good as new!!!

Cracked iPhone 6 screen screen replaced — blue dots appeared on bottom of screen so I took it back in and they replaced it no charge. Second replacement screen seemed elevated off of the phone itself, the home button was loose (not loose previously), and more white/​blue spots appeared on lighter screen backs. I’ll be going to Apple for any repairs from now on.

The guys are Cell Phone ReStore are awesome! I went in to have my phone’s screen looked at and hopefully fixed (the screen started popping out of its plastic casing and the inner workings slightly exposed). They popped it back in quickly and didn’t charge be a dime for doing so! I will definitely be back for future phone issues and recommend them highly to anyone that might need phone help! Plus, you know if you go to the apple store, those people would just talk you into a new phone! Thanks again!

Cell Phone Restore fixed my Galaxy S5, which had a cracked screen/​camera. They got the job done in a few hours, offered great customer service and gave me the best price vs other repair shops/​using my phone’s insurance. No complaints, I highly recommend!

This review is for my husband who dropped his phone around 1pm at the Westpark dog park’s parking lot today (Sunday April 3^rd). Needless to say, he cracked his screen pretty severely. We found this place, looks like a hole in the wall, through Google. I would highly recommend coming here. We called around 1:45, went to them around 2:30, phone was fixed about 3:15, and picked up my husband’s iPhone 5s at 3:45. Great little shop with great customer service. I would highly recommend anyone who want quality service to come here.

While on vacation my phone fell out of my pocket and the screen cracked! It was a complete bummer! So I decided to check this place out looking at the reviews. Great service and it was fast considering they had to get the part from one of their other stores. They were very friendly and got the job done.

Quality of glass is horrible. Super thin glass and not worth 140 to replace. The glass once replaced does not look like a new phone either because the screen is now popping out.

Best repair shop in the loop. Can’t beat the location and convenience. My phone was done in 30 minutes. Thanks again.

Honest and down to earth staff. I took my big jawbone jambox in to see what was wrong with it, and it turned out to be a quick fix. They charged me a reasonable fee for their services. Jesus was the name of the guy that helped me out!

Best price in town. Friendly staff. It took two tries to make my shattered iPhone 5 screen function properly after they worked on it, but they were quick and honest about making good on it.
Now my phone works like new.

Came here because I sent my Nexus 5x through the washer. It was having trouble charging, with the microphone, and the screen. They did the «water treatment» for it, which fixed the charging problem and improved the screen. The technician warned that it might not fix the whole problem, and was very up front about any charges and how the process worked. It turned out to be cost-​prohibitive to repair the microphone, but I am very satisfied with this place. It is affordable, fast, and they seemed very up front and honest.

This place is wonderful! I have been twice (2 separate phones) and both times I was so impressed. The guys that run the place are really friendly and helpful as well as honest and upfront about expectations. The work they do is quality so there is no frustration involved and you don’t have to worry about them taking advantage of you — that’s so rare these days! The good news is that they sell accessories so I can visit them and support them when I’m not crying over a broken phone :-) so thankful that I got a recommendation to go here. Don’t waste your time trying to find another place– it is worth the Shepherd traffic nightmare! Support small business like this so we can keep them around!

Highly recommend! Friendly, fast, knowledgable! I had taken my phone to a cheaper shop and paid to fix my screen about two weeks ago. The other shops work was horrible and I had to replace my screen today. My cell phone was literally coming apart and it was dialing and trying to text without me touching it. I had to use Siri to dial as the touch screen was not responding.
Cell phone restore was recommended by my cell carrier and I happen to live less than a mile away. Jesus fixed my phone at the counter and corrected the work the other shop did. Yes I paid more but worth every penny! Looks brand new and Jesus was even able to fix a corner on my phone where it was dented from dropping it.

Jesus was great! I can tell that he’s genuinely trying to help you. Think of him as an old friend that will take care of your cell phone problems as his own. I got recommended to him by my boyfriend. He fixed his phone once. I have a Nexus 5, and realized not many places are familiar with Nexus 5. My phone was working perfectly until suddenly I received a static screen. I’m not a cell phone expert, so I did some research online and had my diagnose but wanted someone else to take a look at it. Jesus did his own diagnose (which matched mine), gave me a great quote and was able to fix it within a few hours. I’m the type of person that will always do my research beforehand and was glad he did not take advantage of the situation.
He’s located off of Shepherd and a little out of the way for me since there’s tons of construction there! But it’s worth the detour! Seriously, look at all these reviews.

I definitely recommend this store if you need to work on your phone repairs. They will give you a better quote than most of these cell phone/​electronics repair shops. They gave me the best quote and I went to many shops for a while to see who would give me the best deal with repairing my phone. They are sweet guys that are very caring towards their customers. They also make sure that the customers’ phones are well protected and tip top shape once they leave the store.
I came in yesterday evening, worried that they will close up prior to coming in. But coming in about 20 mins to closing, they were nice enough to work on my phone even several minutes after they closed.
Thinking I would had I would have to pay over $ 150 to repair my iPhone 5. But they were able to determine what the problem with my phone within my arrival. All I had was a battery issue problem that made my screen to rise up onto of my phone parts. I ended up paying about $ 70 for my repair (that’s including tax and labor fee). They also repaired my cracked home button.
In addition, I also bought a glass screen protected to protect my screen, in case that this happens again.

Best cell phone repair shop ever!
I found this shop on Unilocal and so glad I did. The owner treated us like royalty and quickly repaired my kids cell phones at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this store and will be coming back if I need anything in the future. They even came out to my car and tried to help me fix my car charger. Top notch customer service. They said that all they want is for us to be happy and we are! Thank you.

Do you believe in Jesus? I do now, after he fixed my phone! Seriously, this place is great! I found it online, after breaking the glass and LCD screen on my stupid Samsung galaxy note 3. I even had an otter box on that POS, but apparently, if you drop it just right (lucky me), even a hardcore, heavy duty case won’t save you.
Sidenote: It’s weird how dependent I’ve become on a smartphone to tell me where I’m going, what time to be there, what time is it now, what’s going on in the world, etc. Being without it is panic-​inducing, to say the least. I don’t have insurance on it, because fuck that shit. I don’t want another new phone. I want MY phone. The one that has all the vitally important stuff (cat pictures) on it that I forgot to save to a SIM card or an SD card.
So anyway, I emailed the manager, asking about the price, and he quoted me an even better price. I got it in and out, same day service! In fact, Jesus emailed me at the exact time he said he would, and told me it was ready. Perfect!
In short, Jesus might not be able to cure your clumsiness, Butterfingers; but he can work miracles on your phone. Praise the lord.

Saved me $ 80 and precious time! I was told I needed a screen replacement for my iPhone 4s. (I know, I know: Upgrade.)
Instead, Jesus told me the previous shoddy work done on my phone created a loose connection for my LCD screen. No new screen needed.
For a diagnostic charge of $ 30, Jesus fixed my phone, and he delivered earlier than promised — which was urgent, as my Mom was at the Med Center and needed round-​the-​clock attention, and I desperately needed my phone.
Professional, honest, reliable and fast. Doesn’t get better than these gents!
