Geek Window Cleaning specializes in cleaning 1 to 3 story residential homes and commercial properties in the Houston and surrounding areas. We believe that what separates us from the competition is how well we clean the glass, our punctuality, our pricing, and how professional our employees are to the people walking in and out of your home and to you. We strive to satisfy each and every customer. Since we are a small business in the Houston area, most of our business comes from referrals and repeat customers. We work hard to provide a service where a homeowner is more than happy to refer us to their friends and family!

History

Established in 2007.

I was working for an IT firm as an account manager for the last couple of years. I liked what I did, but it became boring and didn’t challenge me on a daily basis. So, I would day dream about starting my own company one day.

I worked as a window cleaner when I was younger and thought back to that job often, it was challenging daily because every job was different. I met really cool people both at work and when I would go out on jobs, the homeowners and managers of retail shops, mom and pop locations as well.

I realized that I missed window cleaning and the challenges I would face but most of all, the customers, seeing their face once all their windows were cleaned, priceless. Especially for homeowners, who only had this done every so often.

I thought «Why don’t I start a window cleaning company!?» I did my research like any good geek and after a while I said to myself, «why not, let’s do this!»

Business Owner

Kyle is the owner of Geek Window Cleaning. He was in the IT industry before starting Geek Window Cleaning as a head hunter for IT professionals. Originally GWC was called AMG Window Cleaning, American Mirror and Glass, before he changed it to Geek Window Cleaning when he saw Geek Squad walk into the gin joint he was at. Something clicked and he looked up the .Com and it was available so he changed the name the next day.

Kyle has been cleaning windows since 2007 and he is very passionate about pleasing clients and making sure your windows are clean.

Archenemies — Any type of Wasp nest’s and home builders who think «Man…that would be a cool place to put a window on this house, even though its nearly impossible to get to.»

Favorite color — T.A.R.D.I.S. Blue
