Was going to get a cookie but saw an employee get cookies with her bare hands for another customer. I’m not sure if her hands were clean so I decided not to get anything.

After shopping, I was craving something sweet and stopped by to get some yogurt. Note that this is a combined venture with TCBY and Great American Cookie. There were a few flavors that didn’t seem appealing to me. The toppings were even sparse! Very few toppings. I wouldnt recommend this! Go to yogurt land near the food court for better selections and toppings !

On valentine’s day I went early 9:30am to pick up a valentine day special package they had, I spent 20.00 $ on it I went ahead ordered my step-son’s birthday cake since his birthday was only two days away. The gentleman said a 12 inch cake was 15.00 $ then got charged 21.00 $. I didn’t complain even though I thought that was steep. I asked the guy if I went ahead and paid for it then could i pick it up a little before 10 am that was the time they open he told me he did not see a problem with it. Today I went a quarter till 10 to pick up the cake, I didn’t think it would be a huge issue since all i had to do was pick it up, I had already paid, the guy said they would have it done Friday night so I could pick it up first thing sat morning. WRONG!!! I walked up to the counter and the woman informed they didn’t open till ten. I said that is ok I would just hang around, then she yelled to the other girl to help me and to use her register because they were closed. The other girl came over and asked me if I needed help I said i needed to pick up a cake, I had already paid. The girl who originally«helped» me asked if I was informed that the cake wouldn’t be ready until ten. I replied no I was told it would be ready when i got here, she gave me a wtf look and then told I was informed incorrectly. Then the 2nd girl walked over to see if my cake was ready, she grabbed it and asked the 1st girl if it was ok if she went ahead and gave me the cake, the 1 st girl informed that she would let me have my cake even they weren’t open b/c it was ready and I had already paid. No one apologized for the incoveince or being misinformed or anything, finally handing me my cake. I don’t understand how they can take 2 orders, take 42.00 from my pocket book before 10 am but not want to give me my cake before 10 am. I will NOT be back!

When I was a little kid in the ‘90s, before the popularity of fondant and designer cupcake displays, it was THETHING to have a Great American Cookie cake at your birthday party. However, we lived 45 minutes from a location and my family was on a budget, so making your own cake is more cost effective. My mom also happens to make awesome cakes and I like to dabble in baking, so it was also delicious and fun to homemake a cake. NEVERTHELESS, I always loved cookie cake and longed for my own. Now that I am an adult, I can buy my own birthday treats if I so desire, and I pick a Great American Cookie cake. I have purchased 4 cookie cakes from this location, and I have been happy with all of them. First, I got a cookie cake for my wedding because I got married on my 21st birthday, so we had wedding cake and cookie cake. ‘Twas awesome. This cake was pretty simple as it came from a template they have: 2 hands clinking martini glasses. The next 2 cookie cakes I got were for my Birthaversary(Birthday + Anniversary) in 2011 and 2012. Both of these used template art(a flower and an owl) but I had weird messages and spellings, which the artist executed correctly. I also had specific color requests, which the artist also made sure to do correctly. Recently, I got a cookie cake for 2 male coworkers who like to work out and be healthy and manly(blah blah blah) and insisted we didn’t get them cake at work to celebrate their birthdays. So us girls did cookie cake and ice cream instead(which they loved despite their manly anti-cake selves). To poke fun at these guys, I asked the artist to do a custom drawing of 2 guys lifting weights. I also gave them a description of the men(Bald with glasses. Long, dark hair), and they made the icing cartoons look pretty good. Sure, it’s not custom figures from modeling chocolate perched atop some 3-tiered marvel, but it’s a joke, so it works. I think it is pretty cool that they don’t charge extra for custom drawings on cookie cakes. I always call in my order or order it online, and every time they have deciphered my messages, and got my cake just how I want it and ready on time. Definitely my go-to location for my cookie cakes, which are so dear to the kid inside me.
