Established in 2014.

Heights A/​C & Heating was established in 2014 by husband and wife team Sarah & Thomas Perez. Thomas has 16 years experience working as a Senior HVAC Technician & Installer with a handful of Houston Area companies. Sarah is the Office Manager and runs the day to day operations for the company.

Business Owner

Thomas Perez is a U.S. Army Veteran, who started working in the air conditioning field prior to his deployment to Iraq. He returned to Houston to continue working on his now 16 years of experience in the field including keeping up with continued education on today’s newest and greatest energy efficient technological advances in residential air conditioning and heating systems. Thomas also continues working with Trane and The Hunton Group to keep his company well immersed in the newest technology.

AC went out early Sunday and fortunately they had a cancellation and was able to make it out within an hour. Thomas went right to work diagnosing and fixing the problem.
Hard working, courteous & a true professional, absolutely would recommend them to anyone.
Definitely found my AC guy. Will call him whenever I’ve got a problem now.

I had my a/​c inspected by Heights A/​C & Heating prior to the season’s first use. They were on time, professional, very thorough and reasonably priced. I recommend them to everyone I know, I was THAT impressed. After so many horrible encounters with contractors in my past, my experience with Thomas and Sarah came as quite the pleasant surprise. A+!

It’s tough to find hard working, reliable businesses/​individuals that will be there when you need them so when you find them hold on to them! Sarah and Thomas Perez, of Heights A/​C and Heating, are fantastic and I would highly recommend them (and often do) if you are needing anything A/​C or Heating related on anything new or existing!

Called them on a recommendation from a neighbor and they saved me thousands of dollars. The company sent by AHS told me my compressor was shot and recommended a whole new system due to the cost of R22 freon for a new compressor. Thomas & Sarah came out on short notice on a weekend and repaired some fried terminals and my compressor was fine. I know who I’ll be calling when I replace my old system!

Turned on the a/​c this January weekend during a «heatwave’, and I could tell it wasn’t cooling. Sarah and Thomas came right over, quickly identified the problem, and had my system running in minutes! They were courteous and professional, and for what I know I’d a/​c (nothing!) the price seemed fair! I will definitely call them the next time I need a repair or replacement!

8am the morning after Christmas, I get a phone call from home — the ac is out. Grrrr.
(we are Texicans and get hot here)
I thought, no problem, I will call my sister, who managed an ac company for year.
She advised me not to call those people they will charge you out the wazoo.
Instead, She called Thomas & Sarah at Heights AC.
Wow! A contactor and hard start kit later — my ac is up and running and its not even 10am yet!
The coolest thing, is that I have an old Gibson unit, and I would have expected them to try to sell me a new one. But they didn’t, they replaced only what needed to be replaced, their response time was better than HPD (wait a minute, that’s not saying much) and their mannerism was alot less like a business transaction and more like a friend helping a friend.
The fact that they are small, family owned, local. and that he is a US vet were all a plus plus.
I am very impressed.
