We are proud to carry an exceptional collection of couture wedding gowns by designers such as Badgley Mischka, Anne Barge, Rivini, Liancarlo, Ines Di Santo, and carried exclusively by Ivory in the Houston area are designers Lazaro, Alvina Valenta, Lela Rose, and Jim Hjelm. Our fashion forward and unique designer gowns are each carefully selected and range from modern and glamorous to flirty and feminine.

We know how important a bride’s wedding gown is to her special day, and wanted to create a shopping experience that would be just as memorable as the big day itself. From the one on one personalized consultations, to sipping champagne in our large and personal fitting rooms equipped with private seating areas for close fam

History

Established in 2010.

When Ronit and Sharon Levy decided to follow their dream of opening up a cutting edge Bridal Salon in Houston, Texas, they drew upon the experiences that they shared as sisters shopping for one another’s bridal gowns.

They both agreed that there was that «something special» missing in the process, and that they would design an experience that would embody all of the unique touches that they felt every bride should have when making this dream purchase.

They also recognized that as Houston continues to grow and become more urban, its brides are becoming more fashion forward and looking for wedding dresses that are classic yet make a statement.

Sharon and Ronit are no strangers to fashion. Ronit spent 6 years working for Hugo Boss in New York City, and Sharon, a Fashion Merchandising major, has worked for companies such as Louis Vuitton and Laura Mercier. They plan on infusing their fashion expertise into Ivory Bridal Atelier, to ensure a selection of truly unique and beautiful gowns.

I had wonderful service! This was the third and final bridal shop I went to looking for my wedding dress. I had found an Alvina Valenta dress that I LOVED from the Winter 2015 line but all the shops I called didn’t have that specific dress is there shop. So I gave up my hopes on that dress and went to a few other shops that carried Alvina’s to try them one since I knew I liked that designer’s style; but nothing could take my mind off of that ONE dress. I finally found this store and luckily for me they did have the dress and quite a few other Alvina’s I could try one (the other stores I had been to only carried two or three Alvina’s so the selection had been thin for me). They were able to squeeze me in for a late appointment the same day I called and stayed open late for me as I tried on dresses. I got to try on the coveted Alvina I had dreamed about but there was just too much beading on it for my little frame and it looked like the dress was wearing me instead of the other way around. The store clerk pulled out another Alvina that was similar to the one I liked but minus the beading and that was IT! It was the dress, they offered me a 10% off discount if I got the dress in my first visit but my mom was hesitant she wanted me to sleep on my decision. Which I did; but I still wanted the dress when I woke up in the morning. I called the shop back that morning and told them I still wanted the dress but wanted to come in one more time to try it on just to be sure. They let me come back in that same day just to try on the one dress which I ended up buying and they honored the 10% off discount too. It took about 3 months for my dress to come in but once it did come in, it looked just as I remembered. This store has one of the better selection of couture dresses in Houston and they are constantly updating their selection. They also have flash sales in the winter where they will sell off their old floor samples at a highly discounted price so get on their email list so you get the notifications for those.

Ivory Bridal Atelier was the best experience I could’ve asked for when shopping for my wedding gown. Not only did they have an amazing variety of gorgeous gowns, but their staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Ivory was the first store that I went to try on dresses. After trying on several gowns, I came across my dream Kenneth Poole wedding gown — I was in love! I ended up buying the dress that same day, it was just meant to be. The gown truly made me feel absolutely stunning and more importantly, like a bride — I have never been happier! I am beyond pleased with Ivory Bridal Atelier — I definitely recommend them for your bridal gown search!

I purchased a Galia Lahav dress here last year. I wish I traveled to find another boutique. The customer service was amazing until the purchase was made. Once that happened it was all downhill. They do significantly over measure your custom dress, so expect to spend at least $ 1,000 on alterations. For the money that is spent on a couture dress the level of customer service should match it.

I had such an incredible experience at Ivory Bridal. I was really nervous but Jessica made finding the perfect dress such a stress free and fun experience. She was honest, professional, funny, and I trusted her completely. I ended up purchasing the first dress I tried on, which wasn’t anything like what I went in looking for but as soon as I put it on I knew it was the one. I got SO many compliments on my dress and I’ve never felt so beautiful and special before. I can’t say enough good things about Ivory Bridal or Jessica. They even suggested the perfect seamstress for my alterations. I definitely recommend Ivory Bridal to all future brides!

I have been to several wedding dress stores and this was my favorite. I am a very indecisive bride, so I took two trips to this store and never felt pressured or rushed to purchase anything. Jessica the consultant was informative and super nice. She even held my phone so I could FaceTime my mom. The owner is so sweet and took time to answer all my questions. The dresses are beautiful and they have a nice selection of styles. I would recommend this place to all brides!

I am almost sad I didn’t get my dress at Ivory Bridal Atelier because their dresses are beautiful and their customer service is AMAZING!!! My consultant was so sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. My mom and sister got to enjoy champagne and snickerdoodles while my lady (I wish I could remember her name because she was fabulous) helped me try on dresses behind a well-​thought-​out curtained off section of the bridal room so that I could change with privacy but my mom and sister were still in the room. They will pin and fit your dress just right which I realized is crucial to understanding how the dress will actually look on you.
The dress I actually loved the most was one I thought would look horrible on me but my consultant suggested I try on after getting details on what I liked about each dress I did chose. The dress was an absolutely gorgeous Kenneth Pool. If it had come in diamond white, I would have gotten it, but, sadly, it only came in Ivory, and I really wanted a perfect white for my wedding.
If you want a dream experience for selecting your wedding gown, you absolutely must go to Ivory Bridal Atelier. They are incredible and I will recommend all of my friends to them! We went to several other salons, and no salon came close to the magical experience at Ivory Bridal Atelier!

This is a beautiful and comfortable bridal salon, and the girls there are nice. The dresses are expensive, but you should expect that when interested in couture gowns. You can practically customize your gown however you’d want/​need. They measure every inch of you, so that you won’t need much, if any, alterations. Only reason I didn’t get my dress from here is because they don’t carry any interesting brand (for me) other than Galia Lahav. I would’ve loved to compare a lot of different Israeli gowns in one place. But that’s not their fault. It’s hard to find them in Houston.

They request a $ 25 dollar deposit to make an appointment. I understand people cancel so you want an incentive for people to come up. When I was told this, I asked the associate why they do but no one else does — she assured me «All the top salons in Houston do…» and named some off.
Now, having actually had appointments at the salons she mentioned and not being asked to make a deposit, I have to say the biggest thing for me is being flat out lied to.
Took my business elsewhere.

This was my first stop when looking at bridal gowns. I had no idea what I wanted, but Jessica was beyond helpful. She encouraged me to try on several different styles and helped me narrow down what style I liked. The 2 hrs I was there went by so fast because of her and made the experience so fun and exciting. Now that I’ve been to several different shops, I have to say Jessica was the most patient and easy to work with. She was genuinely excited and happy to help me. I didn’t end up purchasing my dress from here, but I had to come back to thank Jessica for such exceptional customer service.

If I could give this place a negative number for a review, I would. This was the first store that I went to try on gowns. My sales associate was extremely rude and not personable at all. She kept putting me in gown after gown even though my heart was set on one that was not available in the store. Each dress I tried on, my sales associate never questioned what I did or did not like about it. Without doing that, she could not get a grasp on what I envisioned myself in on my wedding day. It also made it difficult because there was not a mirror in the dress room changing area. As soon as you open the curtain, to see yourself, your guests are sitting right there too. My experience overall was not pleasant. I left Ivory Bridal Atelier extremely disappointed.

I couldn’t have been happier with my experience with Ivory. I had an appointment at a different store and had an awful experience. We ended up leaving early due to how horrible the customer service was. We took our chances and called Ivory hoping that they had a no show or cancellation. They called my maid of honor back within 5 minutes and said to head that way. Jessica my consultant called me so apologetic for whatever had happened and reassured me that I would be taken care of. Since we were a last minute appointment, Jessica asked me thorough questions in regards to my budget and what style dresses I like so that way she could have some pulled right when I got there. When we arrived at Ivory, I was taken back on how beautiful the store was. We were immediately greeted and offered water, champagne and cookies. I could definitely tell my family felt a lot better compared to the previous appointment. Needless to say, I found my dream dress and I couldn’t have done it without Jessica. She listened to what I wanted and really made the experience wonderful. The entire staff was so polite and really made me feel like a special bride. If you are going wedding dress shopping, Ivory is the perfect place to go.

–Customer service: TOPS. FAB. AWESOME. Every single person who helped me along the process was fun, sweet, happy, helpful and very knowledgable. They know how to make this experience really special and fun for you and your family/​friends who join!
–Selection: gorgeous dresses to choose from. Classic, trendy, modern, romantic, daring… they have it all. And you can try on every single dress and they won’t bat an eye. Instead, they’ll encourage it.
Really cannot say enough good things. Found a dress here i was 99% sure on, but decided I should see everything just to make sure. While at another bridal store that will go unnamed, *cough*cough starts with Joan ends with Pillow*, I realized the dress from Ivory was THE dress. I have a job that prohibits me from getting to these places on weekdays, and Ivory worked me on a Saturday with 30 minutes notice to purchase the dress and do measurements and even try on the dress so my friend could see it as well.

I love this place! Everyone was super helpful and they had a great selection of dresses. My consultant, Jessica, was awesome. She picked so many different styles and helped me see a ton of options. They can also work with you and the designer to make changes to the dress — take off the sleeves, add more lace — whatever you want. I highly recommend this salon.

The pudgy bride’s nightmare is that bridal shops will be judgy. Or that they won’t have anything in your size (note: they won’t in store) and you’ll have no idea what anything will look like on because you can’t even get the dress up your thigh.
The moment I stepped into Ivory for my first appointment, it was heaven. Clean and organized and pretty and quiet. I had the whole place to myself (except for my mom and dad and best friend).
No judgment at all, just lots of helpfulness from Jessica and the rest of the staff. I found the loveliest Reem Acra dress I never knew I wanted but was immediately in love with. And while I did have to pay a bit extra for the plus size (note #2: Reem Acra starts going «plus» at a size 12), Ivory cut me a break on the price bump.
They didn’t mind me dropping by to have a look at my dress to compare my veil fabric to the color of the dress, or the multiple panicked calls when I thought I’d be transferred out of country before my dress arrived.
I can’t wait to wear my dress next month! And I can’t recommend Ivory enough.

I was really looking forward to trying on dresses at Ivory and made an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time. Ivory charges a deposit to make an appointment, and the charge went through to my card. When I showed up at Ivory at my appointment time, I was told that even though Ivory charged me for the deposit, they somehow lost my reservation! I had already been to two other shops that day, and the sales staff at the other shops were completely competent and on top of things. At Ivory, however, they seemed completely flummoxed and could not even think of a solution!
It was not a good experience, and even though they offered to try to make another appointment for me, I decided I simply don’t trust them with the important job of handling my dress.

Ivory Bridal Atelier was my first stop when looking for dresses. From the time I called them to book an appointment until the time I left the store, they were all nothing but helpful, professional, and sincere. Jessica helped me the entire time I was there, bringing my dresses to the fitting suite, helping me in and out of the dresses, taking pictures for me on my phone, and giving me her honest opinion based on what I liked and didn’t like. The store is beautiful and well organized by designer, with a window in front of the mirror station that allows natural lighting in. I never once felt uncomfortable or pressured. Although I haven’t said «yes to the dress» just yet, I have a strong feeling I will be back soon and referring all future brides that I know here. Thank you IBA! You have set the bar high.

Ivory Bridal Atelier is really as good as it gets.
There are many excellent reviews about this spot so I am just going to quickly list my highlights.
1.) Fantastic selection of dresses from romantic, to classy, to sexy, to daring… You will go crazy over how many beautiful gowns they have available.
2.) Service is top notch. You can be silly as you dance around and sing, or you can cry and be emotional, and your consultant will support you through it. Angela did an excellent job with me, she took her time to really figure out what I loved and did not rush me at all.
3.) Ambiance and lighting is PERFECT. This store is open, refreshing, and luxurious. You can tell they really took their time and were intentional about the design of this place. The natural lighting that pours in from the window allows for STUNNING photographs that you can reference when trying to decide on your dress.
If your budget allows for it, I believe this is THE place to come to find your bridal dress in Houston!

My friend found this place when she was looking for an engagement dress — she told me «I will go back to this place to look for wedding dresses.» And we did.
They were absolutely fantastic. Very attentive. Great lighting in the store. They pulled all the right gowns. When we didn’t like something, they were quick to get her out and onto the next one. But mostly, they had dresses that were just amazing.

If this had 10 stars I would be happy to give all 10 to Ivory! From the time I walked in to the time I left it was such a wonderful experience. Champagne and bridal themed mini cupcakes, white chandeliers in your fitting room, a designated staff person to help you into each dres… Yes, please!
My dress, belt and veil were perfect upon arrival and the staff emailed me later to see pictures of the big day.
All around a great experience. Exactly what you imagine as a little girl.
