Dr. Chance is probably the very best dentist I’ve ever had. I just had to have crowns put in for some cracked front teeth. FRONT TEETH. Scary. But he made them look better than ever. I’ve been going for quite a few years now and have recommended him to tons of people, but never thought to get on here and recommend him until now. He and his staff have always been super friendly, welcoming and comforting. If I could give more stars, I would!

Empathy, a kind heart, and shame free dental care, are the first thoughts I have when I think of how to describe Dr. Chance’s treatment of patients. Dr. Chance has been my choice for dental care for the past three years. I brought 40+ years of negative emotional baggage when I walked through his door, and he is the only dentist (out of dozens) that I’ve ever felt at ease with. Dr. Chance is as much therapist as he is dentist.
His staff are as thoughtful and patient as he is, and there is always a positive energy around them.
Dr. Chance seems to specialize in «talkthesia», and he is so good at regaling you with stories that procedures are over before you even know they’ve started.
A genuinely good person I’d recommend Dr. Chance for those needing nothing more than cleanings and check-​ups to those needing tremendous remedial dental work.

I have been seeing Dr. Chance and his team for 7 years. I have anxiety and they helped me to overcome my fear of the dentist. They are 5 stars all the way! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and the lady whom handles the insurance really knows how to get claims paid. I use to live nearby and I still drive close to an hour for my dental care. He also sees my toddler aged children. They love to see him and are not afraid of the dentist. The hygienist is gentle and thorough. I look forward to my 6 month cleanings. Dr. Chance is an expert in his field. Always an excellent experience. He reviews your x-​rays with you which keeps you involved every step of the way. They treat you like family! He is not aggressive. He tells you what needs immediate attention without pressure and provides you with options. I have seen a few specialists he referred me to and that was also a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Chance and his team!

Very happy with this dentist! I had a cleaning here and Dr. Chance also did two crowns for previous root canals. He is very patient and friendly and did a very good job. His staff is extremely friendly and was so accommodating when I had to bring my 10-​month-​old to a couple of appointments. Definitely recommend.

After getting married and consolidating insurance plans, my hubby and I were in search for a new dentist in the Rice Village. Though there were a few reviews about Dr. Chance on Unilocal,they were mostly of high praises, so we decided to give him a try. His office is located on the second floor of the same building as Darque Tan on Holcombe at Kirby, and you can turn into the parking lot on either Holcombe or Dorrington.
The office staff is super friendly and efficient at processing your insurance coverage. Though wait times can be 10 – 15 minutes long sometimes, the quality of work is superb. Every dental hygienist I’ve had was thorough in cleaning my teeth without making it too painful. And when Dr. Chance comes to check in on you, he is very personable and thorough with your checkup, going through your x-​rays with you and answering any questions you may have. He also doesn’t push any extra services on you, but he does inform you if/​when you need more work and how long you can wait to have those things done (fillings, whitening, wisdom teeth extractions, etc.). I’m typically in and out of the office within an hour for a general checkup and cleaning. I totally love this office, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone in need of dental services. One bonus they have is that they give you a free whitening kit every year for free — score!

We’ve been going to Dr. Chance for the past few years. His team is amazing and Dr. Chance is great! He is super delicate and thoughtful. I hated going to the dentist because it’s always been painful and a horrible experience but after visiting with Dr. Chance all those fears went away. Every single procedure has been explained and described in detail. And you never wait more than 5 minutes for your appointment. Great dental office!

My first visit was in beginning of july. Paid in full but insurance paid for the whole thing. Had to call a month later asking for a refund. Was told Dr. Chance only writes check in even month (august, october.) and they would not credited my credit card. So i have to wait until october for a check. Asked about 2^nd visit to be filed. Was told it wasn’t covered so they didn’t file. I would not recommend this practice to new patience.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chance for six years now, and he and his staff are fantastic. I’ve referred a few friends and family members to him, as well. When I’ve had procedures done, Dr. Chance is very good at explaining what is going on and providing you with all your options. His hygienist is also very thorough and patient. Top-​notch service!

Went to Dr. Chance after my wife visited him 3 years ago. At the time, my insurance didn’t cover him, but now it does. Went in for my first cleaning in 12 years and had a quick and thorough experience. The office is nice and clean, the staff is super nice, and the wait was non-​existant. Annette, the dental hygienist took x-​rays and cleaned my teeth (thoroughly!) and then Dr. Chance came in for an exam and to tell me what 12 years of dental avoidance had done to my teeth. Thankfully, not much, but he pointed out a couple of things that I would want to get fixed in the short term and a couple of things that I would want to think about in the long term. He doesn’t make a high pressure sales pitch on elective procedures (something I am thankful for) and he explains issues with my teeth and patiently answered all my questions. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a dentist.
