The service is always friendly and very helpful. I only go to this place for small things like oil changes and inspections. They’re great for that. They’ll also let you know what maintenance needs to be done to your car/​truck.

Horrible business! I went in for a state inspection, all went well. Shortly after leaving, my BMW X5 started overheating. I made it home to investigate. I found the radiator was empty! I filled it with fluid, just under 2 gallons! I have no proof that the drained my radiator, but the car is well maintained and I’ve never had this problem before. Also, the overheating stopped after filling the radiator. I called them and they said I probably had a leak, I don’t. Just my experience, look elsewhere.
Just to update. I had a business trip where my car sat at the airport for three days. I returned to NO puddle of coolant. Unbelievable!

Disgraceful! Note to self: read reviews first! Dead on. Oil change is grossly overpriced and the first thing they did was call me over to «show me a few things». None of which were legitimate and/​or necessary. What a racket. It’s people like this that give «mechanics» a bad rap.

A great place to go if you need to get screwed. One dumbass quotes $ 39 and they upgrade to synthetic with telling me and I have to argue with the manager for 10 minutes. Now I have to call his boss. Get it in writing because they are shady liars.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, chances are it’s a duck. I just took my truck there to have my oil changed and asked for synthetic. At the end of the service I was charged for regular oil which is about half as much. When I pointed this out the technician then fumbled over and promptly doubled the cost claiming it was his fault and that he had made an error in putting it into the computer. He then proceeded to tell me about how I need to change and flush other components of my truck (brakes, diff, etc.) which I had done already last year. I also then noticed my sticker still read like the oil needed to be changed every 3000 miles like it was normal oil. I asked him to print a new one and he told me that it was based on mileage and gave me some rigmarole. I just paid $ 90 for a so called synthetic oil change the lease you can do is give me an accurate sticker. Will not be going back.

I like their crew. I’ve been taking my car in for oil/​filter and safety inspections for about 8 years. I think they did my brakes also. I’ve never felt that their were any issues. I am made aware of items my car needs, but I never feel like I am being pressured to buy a darn thing. All of the staff has been nice to just chill, but never off putting or rude.

I Work and Live in the Heights and have gone to these guys several times and only for Oil changes. Every time I pull in they try to sell me on some sort of «flush». (and my car is a newer model).thats before they even look at my car .
Every time I have gone there they NEVER have my filters I need for them to complete the job.
and this last time they didn’t tell me until they had almost finished that they couldn’t get the filters.
I asked the guy who did the work to order the filter and call me when it came in… NEVER heard from them…
They have a check list that they are supposed to use.
they never checked my lights,
they never washed the exterior windows,
they never vacuumed the interior,
they never never flicked the switch that indicates they did the service.
I have to do it every time I need to see my milage for business purposes.
That also made me question weither they did the services they said they did.
I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS FOR ANYTHING. I THINK THAT THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM ON THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN BY THE STATE THAT REGULATES THESE PEOPLE
Do not trust them they really have no idea what they are doing.

Theives!!! I had quarters in my car because i was going to wash it after an oil change. When i got my car back they were gone. When i confronted the man who dealt with my car he denied it with a very guilty look on his face. The sad thing is i debated taking the coins but left them in hopes that i could trust this company. Guess i was wrong.

Car started leaking oil immediately after I had oil change here. Never leaked before. These guys are incompetent and constantly try to up sell customers on services that are overpriced and unnecessary. I live within walking distance but will not bring my cars here again. Sad that dishonesty is a routine part of their operation. I think the owner is Reginald Slater.

These guys are great. They are kind and helpful to seniors. They show you other things that could be done but it’s your choice. I always get my oil changed and inspection here.

I didn’t actually get any service done here, but I came to get an oil change on my vehicle. My vehicle was still under dealership warranty, so I technically get free oil changes at the dealership but it was so far out I figured this would be easier than driving all the way out of town.
When I arrived they immediately came up to my car, and made things very easy for me (I had my toddler with me too). They were extremely professional and courteous. When I came inside they quickly let me know that my car took synthetic oil and it would cost more and asked if I wanted the service. I had no idea that this was the case, so I was SO appreciative that they let me know this BEFORE they started working on my car!!! With this new information, I of course decided to save the $ 75 and go to the dealership. But, when my warranty is out I will be returning here.

Should’ve read the reviews first. Came in for inspection and oil change, got scammed and charged over $ 600. Took my car to 3 other shops to get second opinions and all 3 shops verified that the transmission services listed and charged for on my itemized receipt had not even been performed.

Avoid this place @ all cost. They broke my headlight and denied it, then failed my inspection for the light they broke. Tried to contact the owner to no avail. This place does not care about your car.

Total ripoff of a place. Been there twice with a 2011 tundra. Both visits included an oil change and a couple of up sells on the long list of problems that they always give. Almost $ 200 each time… Save some money and just go to the dealership first. They are over $ 100 cheaper and don’t try to upsell every time.

Very slow there wasn’t anyone there when I showed up and took over an hour for an oil change. Try to sell you unnecessary car fixed, to everyone!

Lots of bad reviews on this place but I’m not entirely sure why. Dropped the car off as soon as they opened, walked to Yale to get a cup of coffee, and was done by the time I walked back — 20 minutes, tops. Wasn’t scammed or asked to do any crazy repairs. This is my second visit in about a year and both times was greeted by friendly people who seem to know what they’re doing. Take it or leave it, y’all.

Walked out of here for the last time. Like Jen B I came here for the convenience of location. No more. Waited 30 minutes and watched 2 cars pull in ahead of me for inspection. I left and took it Kindall on Yale — and l got the «come and get it» call not 20 minutes after leaving it. This place is a disgrace — constant upsell, «forgetting» to check air pressure when specifically asked to look at the tires, and wouldn’t know what a clock was if it hit them upside the head.

Went with the boyfriend to get his inspection done here today. Joshua met us as we pulled up and was really friendly and personable. After drive testing it he showed us he needed an oil change. When he stated that he had only budgeted for the inspection Joshua offered ten dollars off to make it affordable. We were there for maybe an hour. Not too bad in my opinion for how busy they were.
Each person working there was friendly. Joshua especially. I’m not an easy person to impress with customer service. I’ve been told my expectations are extremely high for these things. I was throughly impressed with everything.
He was consistent and checked in with the waiting room to make sure no one felt left in the dark about their cars where abouts are or the progress of their service.
I can’t say enough about Joshua and the service.

I was a repeat customer (mostly out of convenience after «just okay» service) but yesterday they lost me for good.
I was told that my state inspection + oil change would take 20 minutes — «really? Only 20 minutes for both?» «Yes, no problem.» 45 minutes later I asked how much longer it would be — «we’re halfway done with the inspection» — no one looking at my car. When they’re done, of course they try to upsell me on something, which happens every time without fail. They don’t even seem to know WHY you need that service they’re offering, just that you should buy it.
I had checked my tire pressure before I went in — about 27 psi on each tire (recommended for my car is 32 psi all tires). Asked when checking out if the pressure was checked (the guy before me did as well — his was «35») — and wow! So was mine! I also looked on my past service documents and they all say 35. Checked my tire pressure when I got home, and they are still the same level as before the service.
It may seem silly that I will not return after this, but if they will skip something so small and lie about it, what else are they skipping in oil changes and inspections?

Do not give this place your business. Exactly as Karl K. described it, I went in to get my car inspected, the mechanic pulled me from the waiting area to tell me that my car would fail the inspection due to «cracks in my AC belt» and replacing it would run me $ 180. The catch was, he had he already passed me in the system and if I paid him $ 50 cash he would give me the sticker no questions asked. Initially I was skeptical about the belt, but when he wanted me to bribe him, my guard instantly went up. Unfortunately for him, he already passed me in the system and could not undo it. So I held my ground and told him I would have to price around for the belt (which doesn’t need to be replaced what so ever…). He seemed annoyed that I wouldn’t budge and put the sticker on my car.
As what other people have said, avoid this place like a plague.
